¿Por qué no perdonas sencillamente mi pecado y lo borras? Pues estoy a punto de echarme en el polvo y morir, y cuando me busques, ya no existiré».

¿Y por qué no quitas mi rebelión, y perdonas mi iniquidad? porque ahora dormiré en el polvo, y si me buscares de mañana, ya no seré.

And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? for now shall I sleep in the dust; and thou shalt seek me in the morning, but I shall not be.

Why do you not pardon my disobedience, and take away my iniquity? For now will I lie down in the dust. You will seek me diligently, but I will not be.”
