Warum vergibst du meine Übertretung nicht und erlässest mir nicht meine Schuld? Denn jetzt werde ich mich in den Staub legen, und wenn du mich morgen früh suchst, so bin ich nicht mehr!

¿Y por qué no quitas mi rebelión, y perdonas mi iniquidad? porque ahora dormiré en el polvo, y si me buscares de mañana, ya no seré.

And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? for now shall I sleep in the dust; and thou shalt seek me in the morning, but I shall not be.

Why do you not pardon my disobedience, and take away my iniquity? For now will I lie down in the dust. You will seek me diligently, but I will not be.”
