Job 8

Então Bildade, o suíta, respondeu, dizendo:

Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,

Até quando falarás tais coisas, e as palavras de tua boca serão como um vento impetuoso?

¿Hasta cuándo hablarás tales cosas, y las palabras de tu boca serán como un viento fuerte?

How long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind?

“How long will you speak these things? Shall the words of your mouth be a mighty wind?

Por acaso Deus perverteria o direito, ou o Todo-Poderoso perverteria a justiça?

¿Acaso pervertirá Dios el derecho, ó el Todopoderoso pervertirá la justicia?

Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?

Does God pervert justice? Or does the Almighty pervert righteousness?

Se teus filhos pecaram contra ele, ele também os entregou ao castigo por sua transgressão.

Si tus hijos pecaron contra él, él los echó en el lugar de su pecado.

If thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their transgression;

If your children have sinned against him, he has delivered them into the hand of their disobedience.

Se tu buscares a Deus com empenho, e pedires misericórdia ao Todo-Poderoso;

Si tú de mañana buscares á Dios, y rogares al Todopoderoso;

If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;

If you want to seek God diligently, make your supplication to the Almighty.

Se fores puro e correto, certamente logo ele se levantará em teu favor, e restaurará a morada de tua justiça.

Si fueres limpio y derecho, cierto luego se despertará sobre ti, y hará próspera la morada de tu justicia.

If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.

If you were pure and upright, surely now he would awaken for you, and make the habitation of your righteousness prosperous.

Ainda que teu princípio seja pequeno, o teu fim será muito grandioso.

Y tu principio habrá sido pequeño, y tu postrimería acrecerá en gran manera.

Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.

Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would greatly increase.

Pois pergunta agora à geração passada, e considera o que seus pais descobriram.

Porque pregunta ahora á la edad pasada, y disponte para inquirir de sus padres de ellos;

For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:

“Please inquire of past generations. Find out about the learning of their fathers.

Pois nós somos de ontem e nada sabemos, pois nossos dias sobre a terra são como a sombra.

Pues nosotros somos de ayer, y no sabemos, siendo nuestros días sobre la tierra como sombra.

(For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:)

(For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days on earth are a shadow.)

Por acaso eles não te ensinarão, e te dirão, e falarão palavras de seu coração?

¿No te enseñarán ellos, te dirán, y de su corazón sacarán palabras?

Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart?

Shall they not teach you, tell you, and utter words out of their heart?

Pode o papiro crescer sem lodo? Ou pode o junco ficar maior sem água?

¿Crece el junco sin lodo? ¿crece el prado sin agua?

Can the rush grow up without mire? can the flag grow without water?

“Can the papyrus grow up without mire? Can the rushes grow without water?

Estando ele ainda verde, sem ter sido cortado, ainda assim se seca antes de toda erva.

Aun él en su verdor no será cortado, y antes de toda hierba se secará.

Whilst it is yet in his greenness, and not cut down, it withereth before any other herb.

While it is yet in its greenness, not cut down, it withers before any other reed.

Assim são os caminhos de todos os que esquecem de Deus; e a esperança do corrupto perecerá;

Tales son los caminos de todos los que olvidan á Dios: y la esperanza del impío perecerá:

So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite’s hope shall perish:

So are the paths of all who forget God. The hope of the godless man will perish,

Sua esperança será frustrada, e sua confiança será como a teia de aranha.

Porque su esperanza será cortada, y su confianza es casa de araña.

Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust shall be a spider’s web.

whose confidence will break apart, whose trust is a spider’s web.

Ele se apoiará em sua casa, mas ela não ficará firme; ele se apegará a ela, mas ela não ficará de pé.

Apoyaráse él sobre su casa, mas no permanecerá en pie; atendráse á ella, mas no se afirmará.

He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand: he shall hold it fast, but it shall not endure.

He will lean on his house, but it will not stand. He will cling to it, but it will not endure.

Ele está bem regado diante do sol, e seus ramos brotam por cima de sua horta;

A manera de un árbol, está verde delante del sol, y sus renuevos salen sobre su huerto;

He is green before the sun, and his branch shooteth forth in his garden.

He is green before the sun. His shoots go out along his garden.

Suas raízes se entrelaçam junto à fonte, olhando para o pedregal.

Vanse entretejiendo sus raíces junto á una fuente, y enlazándose hasta un lugar pedregoso.

His roots are wrapped about the heap, and seeth the place of stones.

His roots are wrapped around the rock pile. He sees the place of stones.

Se lhe arrancarem de seu lugar, este o negará, dizendo : Nunca te vi.

Si le arrancaren de su lugar, éste negarále entonces, diciendo: Nunca te vi.

If he destroy him from his place, then it shall deny him, saying, I have not seen thee.

If he is destroyed from his place, then it will deny him, saying, ‘I have not seen you.’

Eis que este é o prazer de seu caminho; e do solo outros brotarão.

Ciertamente éste será el gozo de su camino; y de la tierra de donde se traspusiere, nacerán otros.

Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the earth shall others grow.

Behold, this is the joy of his way. Out of the earth, others will spring.

Eis que Deus não rejeita ao íntegro, nem segura pela mão aos malfeitores.

He aquí, Dios no aborrece al perfecto, ni toma la mano de los malignos.

Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:

“Behold, God will not cast away a blameless man, neither will he uphold the evildoers.

Ainda ele encherá tua boca de riso, e teus lábios de júbilo.

Aun henchirá tu boca de risa, y tus labios de júbilo.

Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.

He will still fill your mouth with laughter, your lips with shouting.

Os que te odeiam se vestirão de vergonha, e nunca mais haverá tenda de perversos.

Los que te aborrecen, serán vestidos de confusión; y la habitación de los impíos perecerá.

They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought.

Those who hate you will be clothed with shame. The tent of the wicked will be no more.”
