Si je le citais, et qu’il me répondît, je ne croirais pas qu’il voulût écouter ma voix,

Que si yo le invocase, y él me respondiese, aun no creeré que haya escuchado mi voz.

If I had called, and he had answered me; yet would I not believe that he had hearkened unto my voice.

If I had called, and he had answered me, yet I wouldn’t believe that he listened to my voice.
