Anciens, écoutez ceci, et vous, tous les habitants du pays, prêtez l’oreille. Est-il arrivé de votre temps, ou même du temps de vos pères, une chose comme celle-ci ?

Oid esto, viejos, y escuchad, todos los moradores de la tierra. ¿Ha acontecido esto en vuestros días, ó en los días de vuestros padres?

Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers?

Hear this, you elders, and listen, all you inhabitants of the land! Has this ever happened in your days, or in the days of your fathers?
