Joel 2

Sonnez du cor en Sion, et sonnez avec un retentissement bruyant en la montagne de ma sainteté ; que tous les habitants du pays tremblent ; car la journée de l’Eternel vient ; car elle est proche.

Journée de ténèbres et d’obscurité ; journée de nuées et de brouillards. Comme l’aube du jour s’étend sur les montagnes, ainsi s’étend un peuple grand et puissant, auquel il n’y a point eu de semblable de tout temps, et après lequel il n’y en aura point de semblable dans la suite des siècles.

Día de tinieblas y de oscuridad, día de nube y de sombra, que sobre los montes se derrama como el alba: un pueblo grande y fuerte: nunca desde el siglo fué semejante, ni después de él será jamás en años de generación en generación.

A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.

Le feu dévore devant sa face, et derrière lui la flamme brûle ; le pays était avant sa venue comme le jardin d’Héden ; et après qu’il sera parti il sera comme un désert de désolation ; et même il n’y aura rien qui lui échappe.

Delante de él consumirá fuego, tras de él abrasará llama; como el huerto de Edén será la tierra delante de él, y detrás de él como desierto asolado; ni tampoco habrá quien de él escape.

A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

C’est, à le voir, comme si on voyait des chevaux, et ils courront comme des gens de cheval ;

Su parecer, como parecer de caballos; y como gente de á caballo correrán.

The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.

Et ils sauteront menant un bruit semblable à celui des chariots sur les sommets des montagnes, et au bruit d’une flamme de feu, qui dévore du chaume ; et ils seront comme un peuple puissant rangé en bataille.

Como estruendo de carros saltarán sobre las cumbres de los montes; como sonido de llama de fuego que consume hojarascas, como fuerte pueblo aparejado para la batalla.

Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

Les peuples trembleront en le voyant ; tous les visages en deviendront pâles et livides.

Delante de él temerán los pueblos, pondránse mustios todos los semblantes.

Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.

At their presence the peoples are in anguish. All faces have grown pale.

Ils courront comme des gens vaillants, et monteront sur la muraille comme des gens de guerre ; ils marcheront chacun en son rang, et ne se détourneront point de leurs chemins.

Como valientes correrán, como hombres de guerra subirán la muralla; y cada cual irá en sus caminos, y no torcerán sus sendas.

They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:

L’un ne pressera point l’autre, mais chacun marchera dans son chemin, ils se jetteront au travers des épées, et ne seront point blessés.

Ninguno apretará á su compañero, cada uno irá por su carrera; y aun cayendo sobre la espada no se herirán.

Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.

One doesn’t jostle another. They each march in their own path. They burst through the defenses and don’t break ranks.

Ils iront çà et là par la ville, ils courront sur la muraille, ils monteront sur les maisons, ils entreront par les fenêtres comme le larron.

Irán por la ciudad, correrán por el muro, subirán por las casas, entrarán por las ventanas á manera de ladrones.

They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.

They rush on the city. They run on the wall. They climb up into the houses. They enter in at the windows like thieves.

La terre tremblera devant lui, les cieux seront ébranlés, le soleil et la lune seront obscurcis, et les étoiles retireront leur lueur.

Delante de él temblará la tierra, se estremecerán los cielos: el sol y la luna se oscurecerán, y las estrellas retraerán su resplandor.

The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:

The earth quakes before them. The heavens tremble. The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining.

Aussi l’Eternel fera entendre sa voix devant son armée, parce que son camp sera très-grand ; car l’exécuteur de sa parole sera puissant ; certainement la journée de l’Eternel est grande et terrible ; et qui la pourra soutenir ?

Y Jehová dará su voz delante de su ejército: porque muchos son sus reales y fuertes, que ponen en efecto su palabra: porque grande es el día de Jehová, y muy terrible; ¿y quién lo podrá sufrir?

And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

The LORD thunders his voice before his army, for his forces are very great; for he is strong who obeys his command; for the day of the LORD is great and very awesome, and who can endure it?

Maintenant donc aussi, dit l’Eternel, retournez-vous jusqu’à moi de tout votre coeur, avec jeûne, avec larmes, et lamentation.

Por eso pues ahora, dice Jehová, convertíos á mí con todo vuestro corazón, con ayuno y lloro y llanto.

Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:

“Yet even now,” says the LORD, “turn to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning.”

Et déchirez vos coeurs, et non pas vos vêtements, et retournez à l’Eternel votre Dieu ; car il est miséricordieux et pitoyable, tardif à colère, et abondant en miséricorde, et qui se repent d’avoir affligé.

Y lacerad vuestro corazón, y no vuestros vestidos; y convertíos á Jehová vuestro Dios; porque misericordioso es y clemente, tardo para la ira, y grande en misericordia, y que se arrepiente del castigo.

And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

Tear your heart and not your garments, and turn to the LORD, your God; for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, and relents from sending calamity.

Qui sait si l’Eternel votre Dieu ne viendra point à se repentir, et s’il ne laissera point après soi bénédiction, gâteau, et aspersion ?

¿Quién sabe si volverá, y se apiadará, y dejará bendición tras de él, presente y libación para Jehová Dios vuestro?

Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?

Who knows? He may turn and relent, and leave a blessing behind him, even a meal offering and a drink offering to the LORD, your God.

Sonnez du cor en Sion, sanctifiez le jeûne, publiez l’assemblée solennelle.

Assemblez le peuple, sanctifiez la congrégation, amassez les anciens, assemblez les enfants, et ceux qui sucent les mamelles ; que le nouveau marié sorte de son cabinet, et la nouvelle mariée de sa chambre nuptiale.

Reunid el pueblo, santificad la reunión, juntad los viejos, congregad los niños y los que maman: salga de su cámara el novio, y de su tálamo la novia.

Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

Gather the people. Sanctify the assembly. Assemble the elders. Gather the children, and those who nurse from breasts. Let the bridegroom go out of his room, and the bride out of her chamber.

Que les Sacrificateurs qui font le service de l’Eternel pleurent entre le porche et l’autel, et qu’ils disent : Eternel, pardonne à ton peuple, et n’expose point ton héritage à l’opprobre, tellement que les nations en fassent le sujet de leurs railleries. Pourquoi dirait-on entre les peuples : Où est leur Dieu ?

Entre la entrada y el altar, lloren los sacerdotes, ministros de Jehová, y digan: Perdona, oh Jehová, á tu pueblo, y no pongas en oprobio tu heredad, para que las gentes se enseñoreen de ella. ¿Por qué han de decir entre los pueblos: Dónde está su Dios?

Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?

Or l’Eternel a été jaloux de sa terre, et il a été ému de compassion envers son peuple.

Y Jehová celará su tierra, y perdonará su pueblo.

Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.

Et l’Eternel a répondu et a dit à son peuple : Voici, je vous enverrai du froment, du bon vin, et de l’huile, et vous en serez rassasiés, et je ne vous exposerai plus à l’opprobre entre les nations.

Y responderá Jehová, y dirá á su pueblo: He aquí yo os envío pan, y mosto, y aceite, y seréis saciados de ellos: y nunca más os pondré en oprobio entre las gentes.

Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:

The LORD answered his people, “Behold, I will send you grain, new wine, and oil, and you will be satisfied with them; and I will no more make you a reproach among the nations.

J’éloignerai de vous l’armée venue du Septentrion, et je la pousserai en un pays sec et désolé ; la partie antérieure vers la mer Orientale ; et celle de derrière, vers la mer Occidentale ; sa puanteur montera, et son infection s’élèvera, après avoir fait de grandes choses.

Y haré alejar de vosotros al del aquilón, y echarélo en la tierra seca y desierta: su faz será hacia el mar oriental, y su fin al mar occidental, y exhalará su hedor; y subirá su pudrición, porque hizo grandes cosas.

But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.

But I will remove the northern army far away from you, and will drive it into a barren and desolate land, its front into the eastern sea, and its back into the western sea; and its stench will come up, and its bad smell will rise.” Surely he has done great things.

Ne crains point, terre ; égaye-toi et te réjouis ; car l’Eternel a fait de grandes choses.

Tierra, no temas; alégrate y gózate: porque Jehová ha de hacer grandes cosas.

Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.

Land, don’t be afraid. Be glad and rejoice, for the LORD has done great things.

Ne craignez point, bêtes des champs, car les pâturages du désert ont poussé leur jet, et même les arbres ont pousse leur fruit ; le figuier et la vigne ont poussé avec vigueur.

Animales del campo, no temáis; porque los pastos del desierto reverdecerán, porque los árboles llevarán su fruto, la higuera y la vid darán sus frutos.

Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.

Don’t be afraid, you animals of the field; for the pastures of the wilderness spring up, for the tree bears its fruit. The fig tree and the vine yield their strength.

Et vous enfants de Sion égayez-vous, et vous réjouissez en l’Eternel votre Dieu ; car il vous a donné la pluie selon la justice, et même il a fait couler sur vous la pluie de la première saison, et celle de la dernière, au premier mois.

Vosotros también, hijos de Sión, alegraos y gozaos en Jehová vuestro Dios; porque os ha dado la primera lluvia arregladamente, y hará descender sobre vosotros lluvia temprana y tardía como al principio.

Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

“Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD, your God; for he gives you the early rain in just measure, and he causes the rain to come down for you, the early rain and the latter rain, as before.

Et les aires seront remplies de froment, et les cuves regorgeront de moût et d’huile.

Y las eras se henchirán de trigo, y los lagares rebosarán de vino y aceite.

And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.

The threshing floors will be full of wheat, and the vats will overflow with new wine and oil.

Ainsi je vous rendrai les fruits des années que la sauterelle, le hurebec, le vermisseau, et le hanneton, ma grande armée, que j’avais envoyée contre vous, avait broutés.

Y os restituiré los años que comió la oruga, la langosta, el pulgón, y el revoltón; mi grande ejército que envié contra vosotros.

And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you.

Vous aurez donc abondamment de quoi manger et être rassasiés ; et vous louerez le nom de l’Eternel votre Dieu, qui vous aura fait des choses merveilleuses ; et mon peuple ne sera point confus à toujours.

Y comeréis hasta saciaros, y alabaréis el nombre de Jehová vuestro Dios, el cual hizo maravillas con vosotros: y nunca jamás será mi pueblo avergonzado.

And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

You will have plenty to eat and be satisfied, and will praise the name of the LORD, your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and my people will never again be disappointed.

Et vous saurez que je suis au milieu d’Israël, et que je suis l’Eternel votre Dieu, et qu’il n’y en a point d’autre ; et mon peuple ne sera point confus à toujours.

Y conoceréis que en medio de Israel estoy yo, y que yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios, y no hay otro: y mi pueblo nunca jamás será avergonzado.

And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

You will know that I am among Israel, and that I am the LORD, your God, and there is no one else; and my people will never again be disappointed.

Et il arrivera après ces choses que je répandrai mon Esprit sur toute chair ; et vos fils et vos filles prophétiseront ; vos vieillards songeront des songes, et vos jeunes gens verront des visions.

Y será que después de esto, derramaré mi Espíritu sobre toda carne, y profetizarán vuestros hijos y vuestras hijas; vuestros viejos soñarán sueños, y vuestros mancebos verán visiones.

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

“It will happen afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; and your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions.

Et même en ces jours-là je répandrai mon Esprit sur les serviteurs et sur les servantes.

Y aun también sobre los siervos y sobre las siervas derramaré mi Espíritu en aquellos días.

And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

Le soleil sera changé en ténèbres et la lune en sang, avant que le jour grand et terrible de l’Eternel vienne.

El sol se tornará en tinieblas, y la luna en sangre, antes que venga el día grande y espantoso de Jehová.

Et il arrivera que quiconque invoquera le Nom de l’Eternel sera sauvé ; car le salut sera en la montagne de Sion, et dans Jérusalem, comme l’Eternel a dit, et dans les résidus que l’Eternel aura appelés. Retournez au Début

Y será que cualquiera que invocare el nombre de Jehová, será salvo: porque en el monte de Sión y en Jerusalem habrá salvación, como Jehová ha dicho, y en los que quedaren, á los cuales Jehová habrá llamado.

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

It will happen that whoever will call on the LORD’s name shall be saved; for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape, as the LORD has said, and among the remnant, those whom the LORD calls.
