L’Eterno dà fuori la sua voce davanti al suo esercito, perché immenso è il suo campo e potente l’esecutore della sua parola. Sì, il giorno dell’Eterno è grande, oltremodo terribile; chi lo potrà sopportare?
Y Jehová dará su voz delante de su ejército: porque muchos son sus reales y fuertes, que ponen en efecto su palabra: porque grande es el día de Jehová, y muy terrible; ¿y quién lo podrá sufrir?

E, non di meno, anche adesso, dice l’Eterno, tornate a me con tutto il cuor vostro, con digiuni, con pianti, con lamenti!

Non temere, o suolo del paese, gioisci, rallegrati, poiché l’Eterno ha fatto cose grandi!

Non temete, o bestie della campagna, perché i pascoli del deserto riverdeggiano, perché gli alberi portano il loro frutto, il fico e la vite producono largamente!
Animales del campo, no temáis; porque los pastos del desierto reverdecerán, porque los árboles llevarán su fruto, la higuera y la vid darán sus frutos.
Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.

E voi, figliuoli di Sion, gioite, rallegratevi nell’Eterno, nel vostro Dio, perché vi dà la pioggia d’autunno in giusta misura, e fa cadere per voi la pioggia, quella d’autunno e quella di primavera, al principio della stagione.
Vosotros también, hijos de Sión, alegraos y gozaos en Jehová vuestro Dios; porque os ha dado la primera lluvia arregladamente, y hará descender sobre vosotros lluvia temprana y tardía como al principio.
Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

Le aie saran piene di grano, e i tini traboccheranno di vino e d’olio;

e vi compenserò delle annate che han mangiato il grillo, la cavalletta, la locusta e il bruco, il mio grande esercito che avevo mandato contro di voi.
Y os restituiré los años que comió la oruga, la langosta, el pulgón, y el revoltón; mi grande ejército que envié contra vosotros.
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

E voi mangerete a sazietà, e loderete il nome dell’Eterno, del vostro Dio, che avrà operato per voi delle maraviglie, e il mio popolo non sarà mai più coperto d’onta.

And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
You will have plenty to eat and be satisfied, and will praise the name of the LORD, your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and my people will never again be disappointed.
E voi conoscerete che io sono in mezzo ad Israele, e che io sono l’Eterno, il vostro Dio, e non ve n’è alcun altro; e il mio popolo non sarà mai più coperto d’onta.
Y conoceréis que en medio de Israel estoy yo, y que yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios, y no hay otro: y mi pueblo nunca jamás será avergonzado.
And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

E, dopo questo, avverrà che io spanderò il mio spirito sopra ogni carne, e i vostri figliuoli e le vostre figliuole profetizzeranno, i vostri vecchi avranno dei sogni, i vostri giovani avranno delle visioni.
Y será que después de esto, derramaré mi Espíritu sobre toda carne, y profetizarán vuestros hijos y vuestras hijas; vuestros viejos soñarán sueños, y vuestros mancebos verán visiones.
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

E anche sui servi e sulle serve, spanderò in quei giorni il mio spirito.

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
It will happen that whoever will call on the LORD’s name shall be saved; for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape, as the LORD has said, and among the remnant, those whom the LORD calls.
