Entretanto remaban los marineros para ver si podían ganar tierra y salvarse; mas no podían, porque iban levantándose más sobre ellos las olas del mar.

Y aquellos hombres trabajaron por tornar la nave á tierra; mas no pudieron, porque la mar iba á más, y se embravecía sobre ellos.
