Jonás 2

Lá dentro do peixe, Jonas orou ao Senhor, o seu Deus.

MAS Jehová había prevenido un gran pez que tragase á Jonás: y estuvo Jonás en el vientre del pez tres días y tres noches.

Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish’s belly,

Then Jonah prayed to the LORD, his God, out of the fish’s belly.

Ele orou assim: “Em meu desespero gritei ao Senhor pedindo ajuda, e ele me respondeu. Quando eu já estava às portas da morte clamei por socorro, e o Senhor ouviu o meu clamor!

Y oró Jonás desde el vientre del pez á Jehová su Dios,

And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.

He said, “I called because of my affliction to the LORD. He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol I cried. You heard my voice.

O Senhor me lançou ao fundo do oceano, no coração dos mares; afundei até ficar completamente coberto pelas grandes ondas do mar.

Y dijo: Clamé de mi tribulación á Jehová, y él me oyó; del vientre del sepulcro clamé, y mi voz oiste.

For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.

For you threw me into the depths, in the heart of the seas. The flood was all around me. All your waves and your billows passed over me.

Foi aí que eu disse: ‘Ó Deus, o Senhor me rejeitou e me expulsou da sua presença. Será que algum dia voltarei a ver o seu santo templo?’

Echásteme en el profundo, en medio de los mares, y rodeóme la corriente; todas tus ondas y tus olas pasaron sobre mí.

Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.

I said, ‘I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.’

Afundei sob as ondas. As águas se fecharam sobre mim. As algas se enrolaram na minha cabeça.

Y yo dije: Echado soy de delante de tus ojos: mas aun veré tu santo templo.

The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.

The waters surrounded me, even to the soul. The deep was around me. The weeds were wrapped around my head.

Cheguei até a base das montanhas, ao fundo do mar. Fui separado do mundo dos vivos e fiquei prisioneiro na terra da morte para sempre. Porém, o Senhor, o meu Deus, me arrancou das garras da morte!

Las aguas me rodearon hasta el alma, rodeóme el abismo; la ova se enredó á mi cabeza.

I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.

I went down to the bottoms of the mountains. The earth barred me in forever; yet you have brought my life up from the pit, LORD my God.

“Quando eu já tinha perdido toda a esperança, lembrei-me mais uma vez do Senhor, e a minha oração mais sincera subiu até o seu santo templo.

Descendí á las raíces de los montes; la tierra echó sus cerraduras sobre mí para siempre: mas tú sacaste mi vida de la sepultura, oh Jehová Dios mío.

When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.

“When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the LORD. My prayer came in to you, into your holy temple.

“Os que adoram ídolos inúteis perdem a oportunidade de receber todas as provas de bondade que Deus oferece!

Cuando mi alma desfallecía en mí, acordéme de Jehová; y mi oración entró hasta ti en tu santo templo.

They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.

Those who regard vain idols forsake their own mercy.

“Como poderia agradecer tudo o que o Senhor fez por mim? Prometo cumprir todas as promessas que lhe fiz, pois só o Senhor é capaz de me salvar”.

Los que guardan las vanidades ilusorias, su misericordia abandonan.

But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.

But I will sacrifice to you with the voice of thanksgiving. I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation belongs to the LORD.”

Então o Senhor ordenou ao peixe que vomitasse Jonas em terra firme, e assim aconteceu.

Yo empero con voz de alabanza te sacrificaré; pagaré lo que prometí. La salvación pertenece á Jehová. Y mandó Jehová al pez, y vomitó á Jonás en tierra.

And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.

Then the LORD spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah on the dry land.
