Josué 10

Adoni-Cédek, roi de Jérusalem, ayant appris que Josué avait pris et détruit Aï, qu'il avait fait subir à cette ville et à son roi le même sort qu'à Jéricho et au sien, que les habitants de Gabaon avaient fait leur paix avec les Israélites et vivaient au milieu d'eux,

Y COMO Adonisedec rey de Jerusalem oyó que Josué había tomado á Hai, y que la había asolado, (como había hecho á Jericó y á su rey, así hizo á Hai y á su rey;) y que los moradores de Gabaón habían hecho paz con los Israelitas, y que estaban entre ellos;
