Josué 10

Als aber Adoni-Zedek, der König zu Jerusalem, hörte, daß Josua Ai erobert und an ihm den Bann vollstreckt hatte, und Ai samt seinem König also getan, wie er Jericho und seinem König getan hatte, und daß die Einwohner von Gibeon mit Israel Frieden gemacht hatten und sich unter ihnen aufhielten, fürchteten sie sich sehr,

Y COMO Adonisedec rey de Jerusalem oyó que Josué había tomado á Hai, y que la había asolado, (como había hecho á Jericó y á su rey, así hizo á Hai y á su rey;) y que los moradores de Gabaón habían hecho paz con los Israelitas, y que estaban entre ellos;

Now it came to pass, when Adoni-zedek king of Jerusalem had heard how Joshua had taken Ai, and had utterly destroyed it; as he had done to Jericho and her king, so he had done to Ai and her king; and how the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel, and were among them;

weil Gibeon eine große Stadt war, wie eine der königlichen Städte, und weil sie größer war als Ai, und alle ihre Bürger streitbar.

Wherefore Adoni-zedek king of Jerusalem sent unto Hoham king of Hebron, and unto Piram king of Jarmuth, and unto Japhia king of Lachish, and unto Debir king of Eglon, saying,

Kommet herauf zu mir und helfet mir, daß wir Gibeon schlagen; denn es hat mit Josua und den Kindern Israel Frieden gemacht!

Subid á mí, y ayudadme, y combatamos á Gabaón: porque ha hecho paz con Josué y con los hijos de Israel.

Come up unto me, and help me, that we may smite Gibeon: for it hath made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel.

“Come up to me and help me. Let’s strike Gibeon; for they have made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel.”

Da kamen zusammen und zogen hinauf die fünf Könige der Amoriter, der König zu Jerusalem, der König zu Hebron, der König zu Jarmut, der König zu Lachis und der König zu Eglon mit ihrem ganzen Heerlager, und sie belagerten Gibeon und stritten wider es.

Y cinco reyes de los Amorrheos, el rey de Jerusalem, el rey de Hebrón, el rey de Jerimoth, el rey de Lachîs, el rey de Eglón, se juntaron y subieron, ellos con todos sus ejércitos, y asentaron campo sobre Gabaón, y pelearon contra ella.

Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their hosts, and encamped before Gibeon, and made war against it.

Aber die Männer zu Gibeon sandten †Boten zu Josua ins Lager gen Gilgal und ließen ihm sagen: Ziehe deine Hand nicht ab von deinen Knechten; komm eilends zu uns herauf und errette uns und hilf uns; denn alle Könige der Amoriter, die auf dem Gebirge wohnen, haben sich wider uns versammelt!

Y los moradores de Gabaón enviaron á decir á Josué al campo en Gilgal: No encojas tus manos de tus siervos; sube prestamente á nosotros para guardarnos y ayudarnos: porque todos los reyes de los Amorrheos que habitan en las montañas, se han juntado contra nosotros.

And the men of Gibeon sent unto Joshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Slack not thy hand from thy servants; come up to us quickly, and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the mountains are gathered together against us.

The men of Gibeon sent to Joshua at the camp at Gilgal, saying, “Don’t abandon your servants! Come up to us quickly and save us! Help us; for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the hill country have gathered together against us.”

Und Josua zog hinauf von Gilgal, er und alles Kriegsvolk mit ihm und alle streitbaren Männer.

Und der HERR sprach zu Josua: Fürchte dich nicht vor ihnen, denn ich habe sie in deine Hand gegeben! Niemand unter ihnen wird vor dir bestehen können.

Y Jehová dijo á Josué: No tengas temor de ellos: porque yo los he entregado en tu mano, y ninguno de ellos parará delante de ti.

And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear them not: for I have delivered them into thine hand; there shall not a man of them stand before thee.

The LORD said to Joshua, “Don’t fear them, for I have delivered them into your hands. Not a man of them will stand before you.”

Also kam Josua plötzlich über sie; denn er zog die ganze Nacht hindurch von Gilgal herauf.

Und der HERR erschreckte sie vor Israel und schlug sie in einer großen Schlacht bei Gibeon: und sie jagten ihnen nach auf dem Wege nach den Anhöhen von Beth-Horon und sie schlugen sie bis gen Aseka und bis gen Makeda.

Y Jehová los turbó delante de Israel, é hiriólos con gran mortandad en Gabaón: y siguiólos por el camino que sube á Beth-oron, é hiriólos hasta Azeca y Maceda.

And the LORD discomfited them before Israel, and slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them along the way that goeth up to Beth-horon, and smote them to Azekah, and unto Makkedah.

The LORD confused them before Israel. He killed them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them by the way of the ascent of Beth Horon, and struck them to Azekah and to Makkedah.

Und als sie vor Israel flohen und am Abhange von Beth-Horon waren, ließ der HERR große Steine vom Himmel auf sie fallen bis gen Aseka, daß sie starben; und von den Hagelsteinen starben ihrer viel mehr als derer, welche die Kinder Israel mit dem Schwert umbrachten.

Y como iban huyendo de los Israelitas, á la bajada de Beth-oron, Jehová echó sobre ellos del cielo grandes piedras hasta Azeca, y murieron: muchos más murieron de las piedras del granizo, que los que los hijos de Israel habían muerto á cuchillo.

And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Beth-horon, that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.

As they fled from before Israel, while they were at the descent of Beth Horon, the LORD hurled down great stones from the sky on them to Azekah, and they died. There were more who died from the hailstones than those whom the children of Israel killed with the sword.

Da redete Josua mit dem HERRN an dem Tage, als der HERR die Amoriter vor den Kindern Israel dahingab, und sprach in Gegenwart Israels: Sonne, stehe still zu Gibeon, und du, Mond, im Tale Ajalon!

Entonces Josué habló á Jehová el día que Jehová entregó al Amorrheo delante de los hijos de Israel, y dijo en presencia de los Israelitas: Sol, detente en Gabaón; y tú, Luna, en el valle de Ajalón.

Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.

Then Joshua spoke to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel. He said in the sight of Israel, “Sun, stand still on Gibeon! You, moon, stop in the valley of Aijalon!”

Da stand die Sonne still, und der Mond stand still, bis sich das Volk an seinen Feinden gerächt hatte. Ist dies nicht geschrieben im Buche der Frommen? Also stand die Sonne still mitten am Himmel und eilte nicht unterzugehen, beinahe einen ganzen Tag.

Y el sol se detuvo y la luna se paró, hasta tanto que la gente se hubo vengado de sus enemigos. ¿No está aquesto escrito en el libro de Jasher? Y el sol se paró en medio del cielo, y no se apresuró á ponerse casi un día entero.

And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

Und kein Tag war diesem gleich, weder zuvor noch hernach, da der HERR der Stimme eines Mannes gehorchte; denn der HERR stritt für Israel.

Y nunca fué tal día antes ni después de aquél, habiendo atendido Jehová á la voz de un hombre: porque Jehová peleaba por Israel.

And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel.

Und Josua zog wieder ins Lager gen Gilgal, und ganz Israel mit ihm.

Da ward dem Josua gesagt: Die fünf Könige sind gefunden worden, verborgen in der Höhle Makeda!

Y fué dicho á Josué que los cinco reyes habían sido hallados en una cueva en Maceda.

And it was told Joshua, saying, The five kings are found hid in a cave at Makkedah.

Joshua was told, saying, “The five kings have been found, hidden in the cave at Makkedah.”

Josua sprach: So wälzet große Steine vor den Eingang der Höhle und stellet Männer davor, sie zu bewachen.

Entonces Josué dijo: Rodad grandes piedras á la boca de la cueva, y poned hombres junto á ella que los guarden;

And Joshua said, Roll great stones upon the mouth of the cave, and set men by it for to keep them:

Joshua said, “Roll large stones to cover the cave’s entrance, and set men by it to guard them;

Ihr aber stehet nicht stille, sondern jaget euren Feinden nach und schlaget ihre Nachhut und lasset sie nicht in ihre Städte kommen; denn der HERR, euer Gott, hat sie in eure Hand gegeben!

Y vosotros no os paréis, sino seguid á vuestros enemigos, y heridles la retaguardia, sin dejarles entrar en sus ciudades; porque Jehová vuestro Dios los ha entregado en vuestra mano.

And stay ye not, but pursue after your enemies, and smite the hindmost of them; suffer them not to enter into their cities: for the LORD your God hath delivered them into your hand.

but don’t stay there. Pursue your enemies, and attack them from the rear. Don’t allow them to enter into their cities; for the LORD your God has delivered them into your hand.”

Als nun Josua und die Kinder Israel sie gänzlich geschlagen hatten in einer sehr großen Schlacht, bis sie aufgerieben waren, und das, was von ihnen übrig blieb, in die festen Städte entkommen war:

Y aconteció que como Josué y los hijos de Israel hubieron acabado de herirlos con mortandad muy grande, hasta destruirlos, los que quedaron de ellos se metieron en las ciudades fuertes.

And it came to pass, when Joshua and the children of Israel had made an end of slaying them with a very great slaughter, till they were consumed, that the rest which remained of them entered into fenced cities.

da zog alles Volk mit Frieden wieder in das Lager zu Josua gen Makeda; niemand streckte mehr seine Zunge aus gegen jemand von den Kindern Israel.

Y todo el pueblo se volvió salvo al campo á Josué en Maceda; que no hubo quien moviese su lengua contra los hijos de Israel.

And all the people returned to the camp to Joshua at Makkedah in peace: none moved his tongue against any of the children of Israel.

Josua aber sprach: Öffnet den Eingang der Höhle und führet diese fünf Könige aus der Höhle heraus zu mir!

And they did so, and brought forth those five kings unto him out of the cave, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon.

Als sie aber diese Könige zu Josua herausgeführt hatten, rief Josua allen Männern Israels und sprach zu den Obersten des Kriegsvolkes, die mit ihm gezogen waren: Kommt herzu und setzet euren Fuß auf den Nacken dieser Könige! Und sie kamen herzu und setzten ihnen den Fuß auf den Nacken.

Y cuando hubieron sacado estos reyes á Josué, llamó Josué á todos los varones de Israel, y dijo á los principales de la gente de guerra que habían venido con él: Llegad y poned vuestros pies sobre los pescuezos de aquestos reyes. Y ellos se llegaron, y pusieron sus pies sobre los pescuezos de ellos.

And it came to pass, when they brought out those kings unto Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said unto the captains of the men of war which went with him, Come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings. And they came near, and put their feet upon the necks of them.

When they brought those kings out to Joshua, Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said to the chiefs of the men of war who went with him, “Come near. Put your feet on the necks of these kings.” They came near, and put their feet on their necks.

Da sprach Josua zu ihnen: Fürchtet euch nicht und lasset euch nicht grauen; seid stark; denn also wird der HERR allen euren Feinden tun, wider die ihr streitet!

Y Josué les dijo: No temáis, ni os atemoricéis; sed fuertes y valientes: porque así hará Jehová á todos vuestros enemigos contra los cuales peleáis.

And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight.

Joshua said to them, “Don’t be afraid, nor be dismayed. Be strong and courageous, for the LORD will do this to all your enemies against whom you fight.”

Darnach schlug sie Josua und tötete sie und hängte sie an fünf Bäume. Und sie hingen an den Bäumen bis zum Abend.

Y después de esto Josué los hirió y los mató, é hízolos colgar en cinco maderos: y quedaron colgados en los maderos hasta la tarde.

And afterward Joshua smote them, and slew them, and hanged them on five trees: and they were hanging upon the trees until the evening.

Als aber die Sonne unterging, gebot Josua, daß man sie von den Bäumen nehme und sie in die Höhle werfe, darin sie sich verkrochen hatten; und sie legten große Steine vor den Eingang der Höhle; die sind noch daselbst bis auf den heutigen Tag.

An demselben Tage gewann Josua auch Makeda und schlug es mit der Schärfe des Schwertes samt seinem König und vollstreckte an ihnen und an allen Seelen, die darin waren, den Bann, und ließ niemand übrigbleiben und tat dem König zu Makeda, wie er dem König zu Jericho getan hatte.

En aquel mismo día tomó Josué á Maceda, y la puso á cuchillo, y mató á su rey; á ellos y á todo lo que en ella tenía vida, sin quedar nada: mas al rey de Maceda hizo como había hecho al rey de Jericó.

And that day Joshua took Makkedah, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof he utterly destroyed, them, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain: and he did to the king of Makkedah as he did unto the king of Jericho.

Joshua took Makkedah on that day, and struck it with the edge of the sword, with its king. He utterly destroyed it and all the souls who were in it. He left no one remaining. He did to the king of Makkedah as he had done to the king of Jericho.

Da zog Josua und ganz Israel mit ihm von Makeda gen Libna und stritt wider Libna.

Y de Maceda pasó Josué, y todo Israel con él, á Libna; y peleó contra Libna:

Then Joshua passed from Makkedah, and all Israel with him, unto Libnah, and fought against Libnah:

Und der HERR gab es samt seinem König auch in die Hand Israels; und er schlug es mit der Schärfe des Schwertes, und alle Seelen, die darin waren, und ließ niemand darin übrigbleiben und tat seinem König, wie er dem König zu Jericho getan hatte.

Y Jehová la entregó también á ella, y á su rey, en manos de Israel; y metióla á filo de espada, con todo lo que en ella había vivo, sin quedar nada: mas á su rey hizo de la manera que había hecho al rey de Jericó.

And the LORD delivered it also, and the king thereof, into the hand of Israel; and he smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain in it; but did unto the king thereof as he did unto the king of Jericho.

Und der HERR gab auch Lachis in die Hand Israels, so daß sie es am zweiten Tage einnahmen und mit der Schärfe des Schwertes schlugen, samt allen Leuten, die darin waren; ganz wie er Libna getan hatte.

And the LORD delivered Lachish into the hand of Israel, which took it on the second day, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein, according to all that he had done to Libnah.

Zu derselben Zeit zog Horam, der König zu Geser, hinauf, um Lachis zu helfen. Aber Josua schlug ihn samt all seinem Volk, bis ihm nicht einer übrigblieb.

und nahm es ein und schlug es mit der Schärfe des Schwertes, samt seinem König und allen seinen Städten und allen Seelen, die darin waren, und ließ nicht einen übrigbleiben (genau so, wie er Eglon getan hatte) und er vollstreckte an ihnen und an allen Seelen, die darin waren, den Bann.

Y tomándola, la metieron á cuchillo, á su rey y á todas sus ciudades, con todo lo que en ella había vivo, sin quedar nada: como habían hecho á Eglón, así la destruyeron con todo lo que en ella había vivo.

And they took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof, and all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining, according to all that he had done to Eglon; but destroyed it utterly, and all the souls that were therein.

Da kehrte Josua wieder um, mit ganz Israel, gen Debir und bekämpfte es;

und er gewann es samt seinem König und allen seinen Städten und schlug es mit der Schärfe des Schwertes und vollstreckte den Bann an allen Seelen, die darin waren; wie er Hebron und Libna samt ihrem König getan hatte, also tat er Debir und seinem König.

Y tomóla, y á su rey, y á todas sus villas; y metiéronlos á cuchillo, y destruyeron todo lo que allí dentro había vivo, sin quedar nada: como había hecho á Hebrón, así hizo á Debir y á su rey; y como había hecho á Libna y á su rey.
