Josué 10

Und es geschah, da Adoni-Zedek, König von Jerusalem, hörte, daß Joschua Ai erobert und es verbannt hatte, wie er Jericho und ihrem Könige getan, also tat er mit Ai und seinem Könige, und daß die Einwohner Gibeons mit Israel Frieden gemacht hätten und in ihrer Mitte waren;

Y COMO Adonisedec rey de Jerusalem oyó que Josué había tomado á Hai, y que la había asolado, (como había hecho á Jericó y á su rey, así hizo á Hai y á su rey;) y que los moradores de Gabaón habían hecho paz con los Israelitas, y que estaban entre ellos;

Now it came to pass, when Adoni-zedek king of Jerusalem had heard how Joshua had taken Ai, and had utterly destroyed it; as he had done to Jericho and her king, so he had done to Ai and her king; and how the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel, and were among them;

Da fürchteten sie sich sehr; denn Gibeon war eine große Stadt, wie eine der Königsstädte, und weil sie größer den Ai und alle ihre Männer Helden waren.

Wherefore Adoni-zedek king of Jerusalem sent unto Hoham king of Hebron, and unto Piram king of Jarmuth, and unto Japhia king of Lachish, and unto Debir king of Eglon, saying,

Ziehet herauf zu mir und stehet mir bei, daß wir Gibeon schlagen, weil es Frieden mit Joschua und mit den Söhnen Israels gemacht.

Subid á mí, y ayudadme, y combatamos á Gabaón: porque ha hecho paz con Josué y con los hijos de Israel.

Come up unto me, and help me, that we may smite Gibeon: for it hath made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel.

“Come up to me and help me. Let’s strike Gibeon; for they have made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel.”

Und sie sammelten sich und zogen herauf, fünf Könige der Amoriter, der König von Jerusalem, der König von Chebron, der König von Jarmuth, der König von Lachisch, der König von Eglon, sie und all ihre Lager, und sie lagerten sich wider Gibeon und stritten dawider.

Y cinco reyes de los Amorrheos, el rey de Jerusalem, el rey de Hebrón, el rey de Jerimoth, el rey de Lachîs, el rey de Eglón, se juntaron y subieron, ellos con todos sus ejércitos, y asentaron campo sobre Gabaón, y pelearon contra ella.

Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their hosts, and encamped before Gibeon, and made war against it.

Y los moradores de Gabaón enviaron á decir á Josué al campo en Gilgal: No encojas tus manos de tus siervos; sube prestamente á nosotros para guardarnos y ayudarnos: porque todos los reyes de los Amorrheos que habitan en las montañas, se han juntado contra nosotros.

And the men of Gibeon sent unto Joshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Slack not thy hand from thy servants; come up to us quickly, and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the mountains are gathered together against us.

The men of Gibeon sent to Joshua at the camp at Gilgal, saying, “Don’t abandon your servants! Come up to us quickly and save us! Help us; for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the hill country have gathered together against us.”

Und Joschua zog herauf von Gilgal, er und alles Kriegsvolk mit ihm, und alle tapferen Helden.

So Joshua ascended from Gilgal, he, and all the people of war with him, and all the mighty men of valour.

Und Jehovah sprach zu Joschua: Fürchte dich nicht vor ihnen; denn Ich habe sie in deine Hände gegeben. Kein Mann von ihnen wird stehen vor dir.

Y Jehová dijo á Josué: No tengas temor de ellos: porque yo los he entregado en tu mano, y ninguno de ellos parará delante de ti.

And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear them not: for I have delivered them into thine hand; there shall not a man of them stand before thee.

The LORD said to Joshua, “Don’t fear them, for I have delivered them into your hands. Not a man of them will stand before you.”

Und Joschua kam plötzlich über sie; denn er war die ganze Nacht von Gilgal heraufgezogen.

Und Jehovah verwirrte sie vor Israel, und er schlug sie in einer großen Schlacht in Gibeon und setzte ihnen nach, den Weg der Steige von Beth-Choron hinan, und schlug sie bis nach Asekah und bis Makkedah.

Y Jehová los turbó delante de Israel, é hiriólos con gran mortandad en Gabaón: y siguiólos por el camino que sube á Beth-oron, é hiriólos hasta Azeca y Maceda.

And the LORD discomfited them before Israel, and slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them along the way that goeth up to Beth-horon, and smote them to Azekah, and unto Makkedah.

The LORD confused them before Israel. He killed them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them by the way of the ascent of Beth Horon, and struck them to Azekah and to Makkedah.

Und es geschah, daß, als sie vor Israel flohen, da sie am Hinabsteigen von Beth-Choron waren, daß Jehovah große Steine vom Himmel auf sie warf, bis nach Asekah, daß sie starben. Mehr starben durch die Hagelsteine, als die Söhne Israels durch das Schwert erwürgt hatten.

Y como iban huyendo de los Israelitas, á la bajada de Beth-oron, Jehová echó sobre ellos del cielo grandes piedras hasta Azeca, y murieron: muchos más murieron de las piedras del granizo, que los que los hijos de Israel habían muerto á cuchillo.

And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Beth-horon, that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.

As they fled from before Israel, while they were at the descent of Beth Horon, the LORD hurled down great stones from the sky on them to Azekah, and they died. There were more who died from the hailstones than those whom the children of Israel killed with the sword.

Damals redete Joschua zu Jehovah, am Tage, da Jehovah die Amoriter hingab vor den Söhnen Israels, und sprach vor den Augen Israels: Sonne, sei still in Gibeon, und du, Mond im Talgrunde Ajalon!

Entonces Josué habló á Jehová el día que Jehová entregó al Amorrheo delante de los hijos de Israel, y dijo en presencia de los Israelitas: Sol, detente en Gabaón; y tú, Luna, en el valle de Ajalón.

Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.

Then Joshua spoke to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel. He said in the sight of Israel, “Sun, stand still on Gibeon! You, moon, stop in the valley of Aijalon!”

Und die Sonne war stille, und der Mond stand, bis die Völkerschaft sich an den Feinden gerächt. Ist das nicht geschrieben in dem Buch Jaschar? Und es stand die Sonne an des Himmels Mitte und eilte nicht unterzugehen fast einen ganzen Tag.

Y el sol se detuvo y la luna se paró, hasta tanto que la gente se hubo vengado de sus enemigos. ¿No está aquesto escrito en el libro de Jasher? Y el sol se paró en medio del cielo, y no se apresuró á ponerse casi un día entero.

And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

Und vor ihm und nach ihm war kein solcher Tag, daß Jehovah auf eines Mannes Stimme hörte; denn Jehovah stritt für Israel.

Y nunca fué tal día antes ni después de aquél, habiendo atendido Jehová á la voz de un hombre: porque Jehová peleaba por Israel.

And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel.

Und Joschua und ganz Israel mit ihm kehrte zum Lager nach Gilgal zurück.

Und Joschua sprach: Wälzet große Steine an die Mündung der Höhle und bestellet Männer darüber, die ihrer hüten.

Entonces Josué dijo: Rodad grandes piedras á la boca de la cueva, y poned hombres junto á ella que los guarden;

And Joshua said, Roll great stones upon the mouth of the cave, and set men by it for to keep them:

Ihr aber bleibt nicht stehen, setzet hinter euren Feinden nach, schlagt von ihnen die Hintersten und laßt sie nicht in ihre Städte eingehen; denn Jehovah, euer Gott, hat sie in eure Hand gegeben.

Y vosotros no os paréis, sino seguid á vuestros enemigos, y heridles la retaguardia, sin dejarles entrar en sus ciudades; porque Jehová vuestro Dios los ha entregado en vuestra mano.

And stay ye not, but pursue after your enemies, and smite the hindmost of them; suffer them not to enter into their cities: for the LORD your God hath delivered them into your hand.

but don’t stay there. Pursue your enemies, and attack them from the rear. Don’t allow them to enter into their cities; for the LORD your God has delivered them into your hand.”

Und es geschah, als Joschua und die Söhne Israels vollendeten, und sie in der sehr großen Schlacht geschlagen hatten, bis sie alle wurden, und ein Rest von ihnen überblieb, und in die festen Städte gekommen war;

Y aconteció que como Josué y los hijos de Israel hubieron acabado de herirlos con mortandad muy grande, hasta destruirlos, los que quedaron de ellos se metieron en las ciudades fuertes.

And it came to pass, when Joshua and the children of Israel had made an end of slaying them with a very great slaughter, till they were consumed, that the rest which remained of them entered into fenced cities.

Da kehrte alles Volk im Frieden in das Lager zu Joschua nach Makkedah zurück. Und keiner durfte wider einen Mann der Söhne Israels die Zunge spitzen.

Y todo el pueblo se volvió salvo al campo á Josué en Maceda; que no hubo quien moviese su lengua contra los hijos de Israel.

And all the people returned to the camp to Joshua at Makkedah in peace: none moved his tongue against any of the children of Israel.

Und Joschua sprach: Öffnet die Mündung der Höhle und bringt diese fünf Könige zu mir heraus aus der Höhle.

And they did so, and brought forth those five kings unto him out of the cave, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon.

Und es geschah, als man diese Könige zu Joschua herausgebracht hatte, da rief Joschua allen Männern von Israel und sprach zu den Anführern der Kriegsleute, die mit ihm gezogen: Nahet euch und setzet eure Füße auf die Hälse dieser Könige! Und sie nahten und setzten ihr Füße auf ihre Hälse.

Y cuando hubieron sacado estos reyes á Josué, llamó Josué á todos los varones de Israel, y dijo á los principales de la gente de guerra que habían venido con él: Llegad y poned vuestros pies sobre los pescuezos de aquestos reyes. Y ellos se llegaron, y pusieron sus pies sobre los pescuezos de ellos.

And it came to pass, when they brought out those kings unto Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said unto the captains of the men of war which went with him, Come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings. And they came near, and put their feet upon the necks of them.

When they brought those kings out to Joshua, Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said to the chiefs of the men of war who went with him, “Come near. Put your feet on the necks of these kings.” They came near, and put their feet on their necks.

Und Joschua sprach zu ihnen: Fürchtet euch nicht und entsetzet euch nicht, seid stark und rüstig; denn so wird Jehovah allen euren Feinden tun, mit denen ihr streitet.

Y Josué les dijo: No temáis, ni os atemoricéis; sed fuertes y valientes: porque así hará Jehová á todos vuestros enemigos contra los cuales peleáis.

And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight.

Joshua said to them, “Don’t be afraid, nor be dismayed. Be strong and courageous, for the LORD will do this to all your enemies against whom you fight.”

Und Joschua schlug sie danach und tötete sie und hängte sie an fünf Bäume, und sie hingen an den Bäumen bis zum Abend.

Und es geschah zur Zeit, da die Sonne unterging, gebot Joschua, sie sollten sie von den Bäumen abnehmen, und sie warfen sie in die Höhle, in der sie sich versteckt hatten, und sie legten große Steine auf die Mündung der Höhle, bis auf diesen Tag.

And it came to pass at the time of the going down of the sun, that Joshua commanded, and they took them down off the trees, and cast them into the cave wherein they had been hid, and laid great stones in the cave’s mouth, which remain until this very day.

En aquel mismo día tomó Josué á Maceda, y la puso á cuchillo, y mató á su rey; á ellos y á todo lo que en ella tenía vida, sin quedar nada: mas al rey de Maceda hizo como había hecho al rey de Jericó.

And that day Joshua took Makkedah, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof he utterly destroyed, them, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain: and he did to the king of Makkedah as he did unto the king of Jericho.

Joshua took Makkedah on that day, and struck it with the edge of the sword, with its king. He utterly destroyed it and all the souls who were in it. He left no one remaining. He did to the king of Makkedah as he had done to the king of Jericho.

Y de Maceda pasó Josué, y todo Israel con él, á Libna; y peleó contra Libna:

Damals zog Horam, König von Geser, herauf, um Lachisch beizustehen, aber Joschua schlug ihn und sein Volk, so daß er keinen Rest überließ.

And they took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof, and all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining, according to all that he had done to Eglon; but destroyed it utterly, and all the souls that were therein.

Und eroberte dasselbe und seinen König und alle seine Städte, und sie schlugen sie mit der Schärfe des Schwertes, und sie verbannten jede Seele, die darinnen war, und ließen keinen Rest übrig. Wie er Chebron getan, so tat er Debir und ihrem Könige, und so wie er an Libnah und ihrem Könige getan hatte.
