20Porque esto venía de Yahvé, que endurecía el corazón de ellos para que se enfrentaran a Israel en batalla, a fin de que fueran destruidos por completo y no se les tuviera compasión, sino que fueran exterminados, como Yahvé se lo había mandado a Moisés.
