Josué 11

OR come Iabin, re di Hasor, ebbe intese queste cose, mandò a Iobab, re di Madon, e al re di Simron, e al re di Acsaf;

OYENDO esto Jabín rey de Hasor, envió mensaje á Jobab rey de Madón, y al rey de Simrom, y al rey de Achsaph,

And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor had heard those things, that he sent to Jobab king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph,

When Jabin king of Hazor heard of it, he sent to Jobab king of Madon, to the king of Shimron, to the king of Achshaph,

e ai re ch'erano dal Settentrione, nel monte, e nella campagna, dal Mezzodì di Chinneret, e nella pianura, e nelle contrade di Dor, dall'Occidente;

Y á los reyes que estaban á la parte del norte en las montañas, y en el llano al mediodía de Cinneroth, y en los llanos, y en las regiones de Dor al occidente;

And to the kings that were on the north of the mountains, and of the plains south of Chinneroth, and in the valley, and in the borders of Dor on the west,

and to the kings who were on the north, in the hill country, in the Arabah south of Chinneroth, in the lowland, and in the heights of Dor on the west,

al Cananeo, dall'Oriente, e dall'Occidente, e all'Amorreo, e all'Hitteo, e al Ferizzeo, e al Gebuseo, ch'era nel monte, e all'Hivveo, ch'era sotto Hermon, nel paese di Mispa.

Y al Cananeo que estaba al oriente y al occidente, y al Amorrheo, y al Hetheo, y al Pherezeo, y al Jebuseo en las montañas, y al Heveo debajo de Hermón en tierra de Mizpa.

And to the Canaanite on the east and on the west, and to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite in the mountains, and to the Hivite under Hermon in the land of Mizpeh.

Ed essi uscirono fuori, con tutti i loro eserciti, ch'erano una gran gente, come la rena ch'è in su la riva del mare, in moltitudine, e con cavalli e carri, in grandissimo numero.

Estos salieron, y con ellos todos sus ejércitos, pueblo mucho en gran manera, como la arena que está á la orilla del mar, con gran muchedumbre de caballos y carros.

And they went out, they and all their hosts with them, much people, even as the sand that is upon the sea shore in multitude, with horses and chariots very many.

E tutti questi re, convenutisi insieme, vennero, e si accamparono insieme presso alle acque di Merom, per combattere contro ad Israele.

Todos estos reyes se juntaron, y viniendo reunieron los campos junto á las aguas de Merom, para pelear contra Israel.

And when all these kings were met together, they came and pitched together at the waters of Merom, to fight against Israel.

E il Signore disse a Giosuè: Non temer di loro; perciocchè domani intorno a questo tempo io farò che tutti saranno uccisi nel cospetto d'Israele; taglia i garetti a' lor cavalli, e abbrucia col fuoco i lor carri.

Mas Jehová dijo á Josué: No tengas temor de ellos, que mañana á esta hora yo entregaré á todos éstos, muertos delante de Israel: á sus caballos desjarretarás, y sus carros quemarás al fuego.

And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.

The LORD said to Joshua, “Don’t be afraid because of them; for tomorrow at this time, I will deliver them up all slain before Israel. You shall hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire.”

Giosuè adunque, con tutta la gente di guerra, venne di subito improvviso contro a loro alle acque di Merom, e li assaltò.

Y vino Josué, y con él todo el pueblo de guerra, contra ellos, y dió de repente sobre ellos junto á las aguas de Merom.

So Joshua came, and all the people of war with him, against them by the waters of Merom suddenly; and they fell upon them.

E il Signore li diede nelle mani d'Israele; ed essi li percossero, e li perseguitarono fino a Sidon la gran città, e alle Acque calde, e fino alla valle di Mispa, verso Oriente; e li percossero in modo che non ne lasciarono alcuno in vita.

Y entrególos Jehová en manos de Israel, los cuales los hirieron y siguieron hasta Sidón la grande, y hasta las aguas calientes, y hasta el llano de Mizpa al oriente, hiriéndolos hasta que no les dejaron ninguno.

And the LORD delivered them into the hand of Israel, who smote them, and chased them unto great Zidon, and unto Misrephoth-maim, and unto the valley of Mizpeh eastward; and they smote them, until they left them none remaining.

E Giosuè fece loro come il Signore gli avea detto; egli tagliò i garetti a' lor cavalli, e bruciò i lor carri col fuoco.

Y Josué hizo con ellos como Jehová le había mandado: desjarretó sus caballos, y sus carros quemó al fuego.

And Joshua did unto them as the LORD bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their chariots with fire.

Joshua did to them as the LORD told him. He hamstrung their horses and burned their chariots with fire.

In quel tempo ancora Giosuè, ritornandosene, prese Hasor, e percosse il re di essa con la spada; perciocchè Hasor era stata per addietro il capo di tutti que' regni.

Y tornándose Josué, tomó en el mismo tiempo á Hasor, é hirió á cuchillo á su rey: la cual Hasor había sido antes cabeza de todos estos reinos.

And Joshua at that time turned back, and took Hazor, and smote the king thereof with the sword: for Hazor beforetime was the head of all those kingdoms.

Mise eziandio ogni anima ch'era dentro a fil di spada, distruggendole al modo dell'interdetto; non vi restò alcun'anima; e Giosuè bruciò Hasor col fuoco.

E hirieron á cuchillo todo cuanto en ella había vivo, destruyendo y no dejando cosa con vida; y á Asor pusieron á fuego.

And they smote all the souls that were therein with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them: there was not any left to breathe: and he burnt Hazor with fire.

They struck all the souls who were in it with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them. There was no one left who breathed. He burned Hazor with fire.

Giosuè prese parimente tutte le città di quei re, e tutti i re di esse; e li mise a fil di spada, e li distrusse al modo dell'interdetto; come Mosè, servitor del Signore, avea comandato.

Asimismo tomó Josué todas las ciudades de aquestos reyes, y á todos los reyes de ellas, y los metió á cuchillo, y los destruyó, como Moisés siervo de Jehová lo había mandado.

And all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, did Joshua take, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and he utterly destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the LORD commanded.

Solo Israele non bruciò alcuna delle città ch'erano rimaste in piè, fuor che Hasor sola, la quale Giosuè bruciò.

Empero todas las ciudades que estaban en sus cabezos, no las quemó Israel, sacando á sola Asor, la cual quemó Josué.

But as for the cities that stood still in their strength, Israel burned none of them, save Hazor only; that did Joshua burn.

E i figliuoli d'Israele predarono per loro tutte le spoglie di quelle città, e il bestiame; ma misero a fil di spada tutti gli uomini, finchè li ebbero sterminati; non lasciarono alcun'anima in vita.

Y los hijos de Israel tomaron para sí todos los despojos y bestias de aquestas ciudades: pero á todos los hombres metieron á cuchillo hasta destruirlos, sin dejar alguno con vida.

And all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, the children of Israel took for a prey unto themselves; but every man they smote with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left they any to breathe.

The children of Israel took all the plunder of these cities, with the livestock, as plunder for themselves; but every man they struck with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them. They didn’t leave any who breathed.

Come il Signore avea comandato a Mosè, suo servitore, così comandò Mosè a Giosuè, e così fece Giosuè; egli non tralasciò cosa alcuna di tutto ciò che il Signore avea comandato a Mosè.

De la manera que Jehová lo había mandado á Moisés su siervo, así Moisés lo mandó á Josué: y así Josué lo hizo, sin quitar palabra de todo lo que Jehová había mandado á Moisés.

Giosuè adunque prese tutto quel paese, il monte, e tutta la contrada meridionale, e tutto il paese di Gosen, e la pianura, e la campagna, e il monte d'Israele, e la sua pianura; dal monte Halac,

Tomó pues Josué toda aquella tierra, las montañas, y toda la región del mediodía, y toda la tierra de Gosén, y los bajos y los llanos, y la montaña de Israel y sus valles.

So Joshua took all that land, the hills, and all the south country, and all the land of Goshen, and the valley, and the plain, and the mountain of Israel, and the valley of the same;

che sale verso Seir, infino a Baal-gad, nella valle del Libano, sotto il monte di Hermon; prese ancora tutti i re di quel paese, e li percosse e li fece morire.

Desde el monte de Halac, que sube hasta Seir, hasta Baal-gad en la llanura del Líbano, á las raíces del monte Hermón: tomó asimismo todos sus reyes, los cuales hirió y mató.

Even from the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir, even unto Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon under mount Hermon: and all their kings he took, and smote them, and slew them.

Giosuè fece guerra con tutti quei re per un lungo tempo.

Por muchos días tuvo guerra Josué con estos reyes.

Ei non vi fu città alcuna che facesse pace co' figliuoli d'Israele, fuor che gli Hivvei, abitanti di Gabaon: essi presero tutte l'altre per forza d'arme.

There was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, save the Hivites the inhabitants of Gibeon: all other they took in battle.

Perciocchè dal Signore procedeva che coloro induravano il cuor loro, per venire a battaglia con Israele; acciocchè egli li distruggesse al modo dell'interdetto, e non vi fosse grazia alcuna per loro, anzi fossero sterminati; come il Signore avea comandato a Mosè.

Porque esto vino de Jehová, que endurecía el corazón de ellos para que resistiesen con guerra á Israel, para destruirlos, y que no les fuese hecha misericordia, antes fuesen desarraigados, como Jehová lo había mandado á Moisés.

También en el mismo tiempo vino Josué y destruyó los Anaceos de los montes, de Hebrón, de Debir, y de Anab, y de todos los montes de Judá, y de todos los montes de Israel: Josué los destruyó á ellos y á sus ciudades.

And at that time came Joshua, and cut off the Anakims from the mountains, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the mountains of Judah, and from all the mountains of Israel: Joshua destroyed them utterly with their cities.

Non restarono alcuni Anachiti nel paese de' figliuoli d'Israele; sol ne restarono in Gaza, in Gat, e in Asdod.

Giosuè adunque prese tutto il paese, interamente come il Signore avea detto a Mosè, e lo diede in eredità a Israele, secondo i loro spartimenti, a tribù a tribù. E il paese ebbe riposo della guerra.

Tomó, pues, Josué toda la tierra, conforme á todo lo que Jehová había dicho á Moisés; y entrególa Josué á los Israelitas por herencia, conforme á sus repartimientos de sus tribus: y la tierra reposó de guerra.

So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the LORD said unto Moses; and Joshua gave it for an inheritance unto Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. And the land rested from war.
