Josué 11

A ces nouvelles, Jabis, rois d'Asor, envoya des messages à Jobab, roi de Maron, au roi de Symoon, au roi d'Asiph,

OYENDO esto Jabín rey de Hasor, envió mensaje á Jobab rey de Madón, y al rey de Simrom, y al rey de Achsaph,

And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor had heard those things, that he sent to Jobab king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph,

Aux rois voisins de la grande Sidon, qui habitaient les montagnes et Araba, vis-à-vis Cénéroth, et la plaine et Phenaddor,

Y á los reyes que estaban á la parte del norte en las montañas, y en el llano al mediodía de Cinneroth, y en los llanos, y en las regiones de Dor al occidente;

And to the kings that were on the north of the mountains, and of the plains south of Chinneroth, and in the valley, and in the borders of Dor on the west,

and to the kings who were on the north, in the hill country, in the Arabah south of Chinneroth, in the lowland, and in the heights of Dor on the west,

Aux rois Chananéens de la côte orientale, aux rois Amorrhéens de la côte, aux Hettéens, aux Phérézéens, au Jébuséens, qui habitaient les montagnes, aux Evéens et à ceux qui habitaient sous Hermon dans la contrée de Massyma.

Y al Cananeo que estaba al oriente y al occidente, y al Amorrheo, y al Hetheo, y al Pherezeo, y al Jebuseo en las montañas, y al Heveo debajo de Hermón en tierra de Mizpa.

And to the Canaanite on the east and on the west, and to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite in the mountains, and to the Hivite under Hermon in the land of Mizpeh.

Et tous ces peuples sortirent et leurs rois avec eux, semblables par leur multitude au sable de la mer, avec une cavalerie nombreuse et des chars.

Estos salieron, y con ellos todos sus ejércitos, pueblo mucho en gran manera, como la arena que está á la orilla del mar, con gran muchedumbre de caballos y carros.

And they went out, they and all their hosts with them, much people, even as the sand that is upon the sea shore in multitude, with horses and chariots very many.

Et tous leurs rois se réunirent, et ils arrivèrent en même temps vers les eaux de Maron, et ils y campèrent pour combattre Israël.

Todos estos reyes se juntaron, y viniendo reunieron los campos junto á las aguas de Merom, para pelear contra Israel.

And when all these kings were met together, they came and pitched together at the waters of Merom, to fight against Israel.

Et le Seigneur dit à Josué : N'aie point de crainte devant eux, car demain, à cette même heure, je te les livrerai ; ils fuiront à l'aspect d'Israël ; tu couperas les jarrets de leurs chevaux, et tu brûleras leurs chars.

Mas Jehová dijo á Josué: No tengas temor de ellos, que mañana á esta hora yo entregaré á todos éstos, muertos delante de Israel: á sus caballos desjarretarás, y sus carros quemarás al fuego.

And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.

The LORD said to Joshua, “Don’t be afraid because of them; for tomorrow at this time, I will deliver them up all slain before Israel. You shall hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire.”

Et soudain, Josué avec tous ses hommes de guerre, ayant marché contre eux sur les eaux de Maron, les attaqua dans la montagne.

Y vino Josué, y con él todo el pueblo de guerra, contra ellos, y dió de repente sobre ellos junto á las aguas de Merom.

So Joshua came, and all the people of war with him, against them by the waters of Merom suddenly; and they fell upon them.

Et le Seigneur les livra aux mains d'Israël. Israël, les taillant en pièces, les poursuivit jusqu'à la grande Sidon, jusqu'à Maseron et jusqu'à la plaine de Massoch du côté de l'orient. Et ils les détruisirent, et ils ne laissèrent pas un seul survivant.

Y entrególos Jehová en manos de Israel, los cuales los hirieron y siguieron hasta Sidón la grande, y hasta las aguas calientes, y hasta el llano de Mizpa al oriente, hiriéndolos hasta que no les dejaron ninguno.

And the LORD delivered them into the hand of Israel, who smote them, and chased them unto great Zidon, and unto Misrephoth-maim, and unto the valley of Mizpeh eastward; and they smote them, until they left them none remaining.

Josué les traita comme l'avait prescrit le Seigneur : il coupa les jarrets de leurs chevaux, et brûla leurs chars.

Y Josué hizo con ellos como Jehová le había mandado: desjarretó sus caballos, y sus carros quemó al fuego.

And Joshua did unto them as the LORD bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their chariots with fire.

En ce temps-là, Josué, revenant sur ses pas, prit Asor et son roi. Or, cette ville était jadis la reine de tous ces royaumes.

Y tornándose Josué, tomó en el mismo tiempo á Hasor, é hirió á cuchillo á su rey: la cual Hasor había sido antes cabeza de todos estos reinos.

And Joshua at that time turned back, and took Hazor, and smote the king thereof with the sword: for Hazor beforetime was the head of all those kingdoms.

Israël passa au fil de l'épée tout ce qui en elle avait souffle de vie ; il extermina tout, il n'y laissa point un être vivant ; et il livra Asor aux flammes.

E hirieron á cuchillo todo cuanto en ella había vivo, destruyendo y no dejando cosa con vida; y á Asor pusieron á fuego.

And they smote all the souls that were therein with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them: there was not any left to breathe: and he burnt Hazor with fire.

Ensuite, Josué prit toutes les villes capitales, et tous leurs rois, qu'il passa au fil de l'épée ; il extermina tous les habitants, comme l'avait ordonné Moïse, serviteur de Dieu.

Asimismo tomó Josué todas las ciudades de aquestos reyes, y á todos los reyes de ellas, y los metió á cuchillo, y los destruyó, como Moisés siervo de Jehová lo había mandado.

And all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, did Joshua take, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and he utterly destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the LORD commanded.

Mais Israël n'incendia aucune des villes entourées de remparts ; de ces villes, Asor fut la seule incendiée.

Empero todas las ciudades que estaban en sus cabezos, no las quemó Israel, sacando á sola Asor, la cual quemó Josué.

Les fils d'Israël prirent pour eux toutes ses dépouilles ; ils passèrent les hommes au fil de l'épée jusqu'à ce qu'ils les eussent tous exterminés ; ils n'en laissèrent pas un seul vivant.

Y los hijos de Israel tomaron para sí todos los despojos y bestias de aquestas ciudades: pero á todos los hombres metieron á cuchillo hasta destruirlos, sin dejar alguno con vida.

And all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, the children of Israel took for a prey unto themselves; but every man they smote with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left they any to breathe.

Tomó pues Josué toda aquella tierra, las montañas, y toda la región del mediodía, y toda la tierra de Gosén, y los bajos y los llanos, y la montaña de Israel y sus valles.

A partir des monts de Chelcha, il prit aussi le territoire qui monte vers Séir, et celui qui s'étend jusqu'à Balagad, et les plaines situées au pied du Liban, sous le mont Hermon. Il prit tous les rois de ces contrées, il les détruisit, il les extermina.

Desde el monte de Halac, que sube hasta Seir, hasta Baal-gad en la llanura del Líbano, á las raíces del monte Hermón: tomó asimismo todos sus reyes, los cuales hirió y mató.

Bien des jours s'écoulèrent pendant que Josué fit la guerre à ces rois.
