und zu den Königen, die gegen Mitternacht auf dem Gebirge und auf dem Gefilde gegen Mittag Cinnereth und in den Gründen und in Naphoth-Dor am Meer wohneten.

OYENDO esto Jabín rey de Hasor, envió mensaje á Jobab rey de Madón, y al rey de Simrom, y al rey de Achsaph,

And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor had heard those things, that he sent to Jobab king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph,

Die Kanaaniter gegen dem Morgen und Abend, die Amoriter, Hethiter, Pheresiter und Jebusiter auf dem Gebirge, dazu die Heviter unten am Berge Hermon, im Lande Mizpa.

Y á los reyes que estaban á la parte del norte en las montañas, y en el llano al mediodía de Cinneroth, y en los llanos, y en las regiones de Dor al occidente;

And to the kings that were on the north of the mountains, and of the plains south of Chinneroth, and in the valley, and in the borders of Dor on the west,

and to the kings who were on the north, in the hill country, in the Arabah south of Chinneroth, in the lowland, and in the heights of Dor on the west,

Diese zogen aus mit all ihrem Heer, ein groß Volk, so viel als des Sandes am Meer, und sehr viele Rosse und Wagen.

Y al Cananeo que estaba al oriente y al occidente, y al Amorrheo, y al Hetheo, y al Pherezeo, y al Jebuseo en las montañas, y al Heveo debajo de Hermón en tierra de Mizpa.

And to the Canaanite on the east and on the west, and to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite in the mountains, and to the Hivite under Hermon in the land of Mizpeh.

Alle diese Könige versammelten sich und kamen und lagerten sich zuhauf an das Wasser Merom, zu streiten mit Israel.

Estos salieron, y con ellos todos sus ejércitos, pueblo mucho en gran manera, como la arena que está á la orilla del mar, con gran muchedumbre de caballos y carros.

And they went out, they and all their hosts with them, much people, even as the sand that is upon the sea shore in multitude, with horses and chariots very many.

Und der HERR sprach zu Josua: Fürchte dich nicht vor ihnen, denn morgen um diese Zeit will ich sie alle erschlagen geben vor den Kindern Israel; ihre Rosse sollst du verlähmen und ihre Wagen mit Feuer verbrennen.

Todos estos reyes se juntaron, y viniendo reunieron los campos junto á las aguas de Merom, para pelear contra Israel.

Mas Jehová dijo á Josué: No tengas temor de ellos, que mañana á esta hora yo entregaré á todos éstos, muertos delante de Israel: á sus caballos desjarretarás, y sus carros quemarás al fuego.

And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.

The LORD said to Joshua, “Don’t be afraid because of them; for tomorrow at this time, I will deliver them up all slain before Israel. You shall hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire.”

Und der HERR gab sie in die Hände Israels; und schlugen sie und jagten sie bis gen großen Zidon und bis an die warmen Wasser und bis an die Breite zu Mizpe gegen dem Morgen; und schlugen sie, bis daß niemand unter ihnen überblieb.

Y vino Josué, y con él todo el pueblo de guerra, contra ellos, y dió de repente sobre ellos junto á las aguas de Merom.

So Joshua came, and all the people of war with him, against them by the waters of Merom suddenly; and they fell upon them.

Da tat ihnen Josua, wie der HERR ihm gesagt hatte, und verlähmte ihre Rosse und verbrannte ihre Wagen.

Und kehrete um zu derselben Zeit und gewann Hazor und schlug ihren König mit dem Schwert (denn Hazor war vorhin die Hauptstadt aller dieser Königreiche).

Y Josué hizo con ellos como Jehová le había mandado: desjarretó sus caballos, y sus carros quemó al fuego.

And Joshua did unto them as the LORD bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their chariots with fire.

Und schlugen alle Seelen; die drinnen waren, mit der Schärfe des Schwerts und verbanneten sie; und ließ nichts überbleiben, das den Odem hatte; und verbrannte Hazor mit Feuer.

Y tornándose Josué, tomó en el mismo tiempo á Hasor, é hirió á cuchillo á su rey: la cual Hasor había sido antes cabeza de todos estos reinos.

And Joshua at that time turned back, and took Hazor, and smote the king thereof with the sword: for Hazor beforetime was the head of all those kingdoms.

Dazu alle Städte dieser Könige gewann Josua mit ihren Königen; und schlug sie mit der Schärfe des Schwerts und verbannete sie, wie Mose, der Knecht des HERRN, geboten hatte.

Doch verbrannten die Kinder Israel keine Städte, die auf Hügeln stunden, sondern Hazor allein verbrannte Josua.

Asimismo tomó Josué todas las ciudades de aquestos reyes, y á todos los reyes de ellas, y los metió á cuchillo, y los destruyó, como Moisés siervo de Jehová lo había mandado.

Wie der HERR Mose, seinem Knechte, und Mose Josua geboten hatte, so tat Josua, daß nichts fehlete an allem, das der HERR Mose geboten hatte.

von dem Gebirge an, das das Land hinauf gen Seir scheidet, bis gen Baal-Gad, in der Breite des Berges Libanon, unten am Berge Hermon. Alle ihre Könige gewann er und schlug sie und tötete sie.

Tomó pues Josué toda aquella tierra, las montañas, y toda la región del mediodía, y toda la tierra de Gosén, y los bajos y los llanos, y la montaña de Israel y sus valles.

Er stritt aber eine lange Zeit mit diesen Königen.

Desde el monte de Halac, que sube hasta Seir, hasta Baal-gad en la llanura del Líbano, á las raíces del monte Hermón: tomó asimismo todos sus reyes, los cuales hirió y mató.
