Josué 11

Or come Iabin, re di Hatsor, ebbe udito queste cose, mandò de’ messi a Iobab re di Madon, al re di Scimron, al re di Acsaf,

OYENDO esto Jabín rey de Hasor, envió mensaje á Jobab rey de Madón, y al rey de Simrom, y al rey de Achsaph,

And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor had heard those things, that he sent to Jobab king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph,

ai re ch’erano al nord nella contrada montuosa, nella pianura al sud di Kinnereth, nella regione bassa, e sulle alture di Dor a ponente,

Y á los reyes que estaban á la parte del norte en las montañas, y en el llano al mediodía de Cinneroth, y en los llanos, y en las regiones de Dor al occidente;

And to the kings that were on the north of the mountains, and of the plains south of Chinneroth, and in the valley, and in the borders of Dor on the west,

and to the kings who were on the north, in the hill country, in the Arabah south of Chinneroth, in the lowland, and in the heights of Dor on the west,

ai Cananei d’oriente e di ponente, agli Amorei, agli Hittei, ai Ferezei, ai Gebusei nella contrada montuosa, agli Hivvei appiè dello Hermon nel paese di Mitspa.

Y al Cananeo que estaba al oriente y al occidente, y al Amorrheo, y al Hetheo, y al Pherezeo, y al Jebuseo en las montañas, y al Heveo debajo de Hermón en tierra de Mizpa.

And to the Canaanite on the east and on the west, and to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite in the mountains, and to the Hivite under Hermon in the land of Mizpeh.

E quelli uscirono, con tutti i loro eserciti, formando un popolo innumerevole come la rena ch’è sul lido del mare, e con cavalli e carri in grandissima quantità.

Estos salieron, y con ellos todos sus ejércitos, pueblo mucho en gran manera, como la arena que está á la orilla del mar, con gran muchedumbre de caballos y carros.

And they went out, they and all their hosts with them, much people, even as the sand that is upon the sea shore in multitude, with horses and chariots very many.

Tutti questi re si riunirono e vennero ad accamparsi assieme presso le acque di Merom per combattere contro Israele.

Todos estos reyes se juntaron, y viniendo reunieron los campos junto á las aguas de Merom, para pelear contra Israel.

And when all these kings were met together, they came and pitched together at the waters of Merom, to fight against Israel.

E l’Eterno disse a Giosuè: “Non li temere, perché domani, a quest’ora, io farò che saran tutti uccisi davanti a Israele; tu taglierai i garetti ai loro cavalli e darai fuoco ai loro carri”.

Mas Jehová dijo á Josué: No tengas temor de ellos, que mañana á esta hora yo entregaré á todos éstos, muertos delante de Israel: á sus caballos desjarretarás, y sus carros quemarás al fuego.

And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.

The LORD said to Joshua, “Don’t be afraid because of them; for tomorrow at this time, I will deliver them up all slain before Israel. You shall hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire.”

Giosuè dunque, con tutta la sua gente di guerra, marciò all’improvviso contro di essi alle acque di Merom, e piombò loro addosso;

Y vino Josué, y con él todo el pueblo de guerra, contra ellos, y dió de repente sobre ellos junto á las aguas de Merom.

So Joshua came, and all the people of war with him, against them by the waters of Merom suddenly; and they fell upon them.

e l’Eterno li diede nelle mani degl’Israeliti, i quali li batterono e l’inseguirono fino a Sidone la grande, fino a Misrefot-Maim e fino alla valle di Mitspa, verso oriente; li batteron così da non lasciarne scampare uno.

Y entrególos Jehová en manos de Israel, los cuales los hirieron y siguieron hasta Sidón la grande, y hasta las aguas calientes, y hasta el llano de Mizpa al oriente, hiriéndolos hasta que no les dejaron ninguno.

And the LORD delivered them into the hand of Israel, who smote them, and chased them unto great Zidon, and unto Misrephoth-maim, and unto the valley of Mizpeh eastward; and they smote them, until they left them none remaining.

E Giosuè li tratto come gli avea detto l’Eterno: tagliò i garetti ai loro cavalli e dette fuoco ai loro carri.

Y Josué hizo con ellos como Jehová le había mandado: desjarretó sus caballos, y sus carros quemó al fuego.

And Joshua did unto them as the LORD bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their chariots with fire.

Joshua did to them as the LORD told him. He hamstrung their horses and burned their chariots with fire.

Al suo ritorno, e in quel medesimo tempo, Giosuè prese Hatsor e ne fece perire di spada il re; poiché Hatsor era stata per l’addietro la capitale di tutti quei regni.

Y tornándose Josué, tomó en el mismo tiempo á Hasor, é hirió á cuchillo á su rey: la cual Hasor había sido antes cabeza de todos estos reinos.

And Joshua at that time turned back, and took Hazor, and smote the king thereof with the sword: for Hazor beforetime was the head of all those kingdoms.

Mise anche a fil di spada tutte le persone che vi si trovavano, votandole allo sterminio; non vi restò anima viva, e dette Hatsor alle fiamme.

E hirieron á cuchillo todo cuanto en ella había vivo, destruyendo y no dejando cosa con vida; y á Asor pusieron á fuego.

And they smote all the souls that were therein with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them: there was not any left to breathe: and he burnt Hazor with fire.

Giosuè prese pure tutte le città di quei re e tutti i loro re, e li mise a fil di spada e li votò allo sterminio, come aveva ordinato Mosè, servo dell’Eterno.

Asimismo tomó Josué todas las ciudades de aquestos reyes, y á todos los reyes de ellas, y los metió á cuchillo, y los destruyó, como Moisés siervo de Jehová lo había mandado.

And all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, did Joshua take, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and he utterly destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the LORD commanded.

Ma Israele non arse alcuna delle città poste in collina, salvo Hatsor, la sola che Giosuè incendiasse.

Empero todas las ciudades que estaban en sus cabezos, no las quemó Israel, sacando á sola Asor, la cual quemó Josué.

But as for the cities that stood still in their strength, Israel burned none of them, save Hazor only; that did Joshua burn.

E i figliuoli d’Israele si tennero per sé tutto il bottino di quelle città e il bestiame, ma misero a fil di spada tutti gli uomini fino al loro completo sterminio, senza lasciare anima viva.

Y los hijos de Israel tomaron para sí todos los despojos y bestias de aquestas ciudades: pero á todos los hombres metieron á cuchillo hasta destruirlos, sin dejar alguno con vida.

And all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, the children of Israel took for a prey unto themselves; but every man they smote with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left they any to breathe.

Come l’Eterno avea comandato a Mosè suo servo, così Mosè ordinò a Giosuè, e così fece Giosuè, il quale non trascurò alcuno degli ordini che l’Eterno avea dato a Mosè.

De la manera que Jehová lo había mandado á Moisés su siervo, así Moisés lo mandó á Josué: y así Josué lo hizo, sin quitar palabra de todo lo que Jehová había mandado á Moisés.

Giosuè dunque prese tutto quel paese, la contrada montuosa, tutto il mezzogiorno, tutto il paese di Goscen, la regione bassa, la pianura, la contrada montuosa d’Israele e le sue regioni basse,

Tomó pues Josué toda aquella tierra, las montañas, y toda la región del mediodía, y toda la tierra de Gosén, y los bajos y los llanos, y la montaña de Israel y sus valles.

So Joshua took all that land, the hills, and all the south country, and all the land of Goshen, and the valley, and the plain, and the mountain of Israel, and the valley of the same;

dalla montagna brulla che s’eleva verso Seir, fino a Baal-Gad nella valle del Libano appiè del monte Hermon; prese tutti i loro re, li colpì e li mise a morte.

Desde el monte de Halac, que sube hasta Seir, hasta Baal-gad en la llanura del Líbano, á las raíces del monte Hermón: tomó asimismo todos sus reyes, los cuales hirió y mató.

Even from the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir, even unto Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon under mount Hermon: and all their kings he took, and smote them, and slew them.

Giosuè fece per lungo tempo guerra a tutti quei re.

perché l’Eterno facea sì che il loro cuore si ostinasse a dar battaglia ad Israele, onde Israele li votasse allo sterminio senza che ci fosse pietà per loro, e li distruggesse come l’Eterno avea comandato a Mosè.

Porque esto vino de Jehová, que endurecía el corazón de ellos para que resistiesen con guerra á Israel, para destruirlos, y que no les fuese hecha misericordia, antes fuesen desarraigados, como Jehová lo había mandado á Moisés.

In quel medesimo tempo, Giosuè si mise in marcia e sterminò gli Anakiti della contrada montuosa, di Hebron, di Debir, di Anab, di tutta la contrada montuosa di Giuda e di tutta la contrada montuosa d’Israele; Giosuè li votò allo sterminio con le loro città.

También en el mismo tiempo vino Josué y destruyó los Anaceos de los montes, de Hebrón, de Debir, y de Anab, y de todos los montes de Judá, y de todos los montes de Israel: Josué los destruyó á ellos y á sus ciudades.

And at that time came Joshua, and cut off the Anakims from the mountains, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the mountains of Judah, and from all the mountains of Israel: Joshua destroyed them utterly with their cities.

Tomó, pues, Josué toda la tierra, conforme á todo lo que Jehová había dicho á Moisés; y entrególa Josué á los Israelitas por herencia, conforme á sus repartimientos de sus tribus: y la tierra reposó de guerra.

So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the LORD said unto Moses; and Joshua gave it for an inheritance unto Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. And the land rested from war.
