Josué 11

A cette nouvelle, Jabin, roi de Haçor, envoya un message à Jobab, roi de Madôn, au roi de Chimrôn, et au roi d'Akchaf,

OYENDO esto Jabín rey de Hasor, envió mensaje á Jobab rey de Madón, y al rey de Simrom, y al rey de Achsaph,

And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor had heard those things, that he sent to Jobab king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph,

ainsi qu'aux rois qui demeuraient dans le nord, sur la montagne et dans la plaine, au midi de Génésareth et dans la vallée et dans la région de Dor à l'occident,

Y á los reyes que estaban á la parte del norte en las montañas, y en el llano al mediodía de Cinneroth, y en los llanos, y en las regiones de Dor al occidente;

And to the kings that were on the north of the mountains, and of the plains south of Chinneroth, and in the valley, and in the borders of Dor on the west,

and to the kings who were on the north, in the hill country, in the Arabah south of Chinneroth, in the lowland, and in the heights of Dor on the west,

aux Cananéens de l'orient et de l'occident, aux Amorréens, Héthéens, Phérézéens, Jébuséens de la montagne, Hévéens établis au pied du Hermon, dans le pays de Mispa.

Y al Cananeo que estaba al oriente y al occidente, y al Amorrheo, y al Hetheo, y al Pherezeo, y al Jebuseo en las montañas, y al Heveo debajo de Hermón en tierra de Mizpa.

And to the Canaanite on the east and on the west, and to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite in the mountains, and to the Hivite under Hermon in the land of Mizpeh.

Et ils sortirent avec toutes leurs armées, multitude nombreuse comme les sables du rivage de la mer, avec un nombre immense de chevaux et de chars.

Estos salieron, y con ellos todos sus ejércitos, pueblo mucho en gran manera, como la arena que está á la orilla del mar, con gran muchedumbre de caballos y carros.

And they went out, they and all their hosts with them, much people, even as the sand that is upon the sea shore in multitude, with horses and chariots very many.

Tous ces rois, s'étant donné rendez-vous, vinrent camper ensemble près des eaux de Mérom pour livrer bataille à Israël.

Todos estos reyes se juntaron, y viniendo reunieron los campos junto á las aguas de Merom, para pelear contra Israel.

And when all these kings were met together, they came and pitched together at the waters of Merom, to fight against Israel.

Cependant l'Eternel dit à Josué: "Ne les crains point, car demain, à pareille heure, je les ferai succomber tous devant Israël; et tu couperas les jarrets de leurs chevaux, et tu livreras leurs chars aux flammes."

Mas Jehová dijo á Josué: No tengas temor de ellos, que mañana á esta hora yo entregaré á todos éstos, muertos delante de Israel: á sus caballos desjarretarás, y sus carros quemarás al fuego.

And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.

The LORD said to Joshua, “Don’t be afraid because of them; for tomorrow at this time, I will deliver them up all slain before Israel. You shall hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire.”

Josué, avec tous les gens de guerre, les atteignit à l'improviste près des eaux de Mérom et tomba sur eux;

Y vino Josué, y con él todo el pueblo de guerra, contra ellos, y dió de repente sobre ellos junto á las aguas de Merom.

So Joshua came, and all the people of war with him, against them by the waters of Merom suddenly; and they fell upon them.

et l'Eternel les livra au pouvoir des Israélites, qui les battirent et les poursuivirent jusqu'à Sidon la Grande, jusqu'à Misrefot-Maïm et, vers l'orient, jusqu'à la vallée de Mispa; ils les taillèrent en pièces jusqu'au dernier.

Y entrególos Jehová en manos de Israel, los cuales los hirieron y siguieron hasta Sidón la grande, y hasta las aguas calientes, y hasta el llano de Mizpa al oriente, hiriéndolos hasta que no les dejaron ninguno.

And the LORD delivered them into the hand of Israel, who smote them, and chased them unto great Zidon, and unto Misrephoth-maim, and unto the valley of Mizpeh eastward; and they smote them, until they left them none remaining.

Et Josué, se conformant aux ordres de l'Eternel, coupa les jarrets de leurs chevaux et brûla leurs chars.

Y Josué hizo con ellos como Jehová le había mandado: desjarretó sus caballos, y sus carros quemó al fuego.

And Joshua did unto them as the LORD bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their chariots with fire.

Alors, rebroussant chemin, Josué prit Haçor et passa son roi au fil de l'épée (Haçor était, à cette époque, la tête de tous ces royaumes).

Y tornándose Josué, tomó en el mismo tiempo á Hasor, é hirió á cuchillo á su rey: la cual Hasor había sido antes cabeza de todos estos reinos.

And Joshua at that time turned back, and took Hazor, and smote the king thereof with the sword: for Hazor beforetime was the head of all those kingdoms.

Et l'on extermina sans merci, par l'épée, toute sa population, sans épargner une seule vie, et l'on réduisit Haçor en cendres;

E hirieron á cuchillo todo cuanto en ella había vivo, destruyendo y no dejando cosa con vida; y á Asor pusieron á fuego.

And they smote all the souls that were therein with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them: there was not any left to breathe: and he burnt Hazor with fire.

et toutes les villes des autres rois et ces rois eux-mêmes, Josué les prit et les extermina par l'épée, comme l'avait ordonné Moïse, serviteur de l'Eternel.

Asimismo tomó Josué todas las ciudades de aquestos reyes, y á todos los reyes de ellas, y los metió á cuchillo, y los destruyó, como Moisés siervo de Jehová lo había mandado.

And all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, did Joshua take, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and he utterly destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the LORD commanded.

Toutefois, aucune des villes établies sur les hauteurs ne fut brûlée par Israël, à l'exception de Haçor seule, que Josué livra au feu.

depuis la montagne Pelée qui s'élève vers Séir, jusqu'à Baal-Gad, dans la vallée du Liban, au pied du mont Hermon; et il vainquit tous leurs rois et les mit à mort.

Desde el monte de Halac, que sube hasta Seir, hasta Baal-gad en la llanura del Líbano, á las raíces del monte Hermón: tomó asimismo todos sus reyes, los cuales hirió y mató.

Pendant de longs jours, Josué guerroya avec tous ces rois.
