Josué 14

Voici ce que les enfants d'Israël reçurent en héritage dans le pays de Chanaan, ce que leur partagèrent le prêtre Eléazar, Josué, fils de Nun, et les chefs de famille des tribus des enfants d'Israël.

ESTO pues es lo que los hijos de Israel tomaron por heredad en la tierra de Canaán, lo cual les repartieron Eleazar sacerdote, y Josué hijo de Nun, y los principales de los padres de las tribus de los hijos de Israel.

And these are the countries which the children of Israel inherited in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed for inheritance to them.

C'est le sort qui leur assigna leur héritage, comme Yahweh l'avait ordonné par Moïse, pour les neuf tribus et la demi-tribu.

Por suerte dióseles su heredad, como Jehová lo había mandado por Moisés, que diese á las nueve tribus, y á la media tribu.

Then the children of Judah came unto Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite said unto him, Thou knowest the thing that the LORD said unto Moses the man of God concerning me and thee in Kadesh-barnea.

J'étais âgé de quarante ans lorsque Moïse, serviteur de Yahweh, m'envoya de Cadès-Barné pour explorer le pays, et je lui fis un rapport dans la sincérité de mon cœur.

Yo era de edad de cuarenta años, cuando Moisés siervo de Jehová me envió de Cades-barnea á reconocer la tierra; y yo le referí el negocio como lo tenía en mi corazón:

Tandis que mes frères, qui étaient montés avec moi, découragèrent le peuple, moi, je suivis entièrement Yahweh, mon Dieu.

Et ce jour-là Moïse fit ce serment : Le pays que ton pied a foulé sera ton héritage et celui de tes enfants à perpétuité, parce que tu as entièrement suivi Yahweh, mon Dieu.

Entonces Moisés juró, diciendo: Si la tierra que holló tu pie no fuere para ti, y para tus hijos en herencia perpetua: por cuanto cumpliste siguiendo á Jehová mi Dios.

And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children’s for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God.

Et maintenant, voici que Yahweh m'a conservé en vie, comme il l'a dit, pendant les quarante-cinq ans écoulés depuis que Yahweh adressa cette parole à Moïse, tandis qu'Israël marchait dans le désert ; et maintenant, voici que je suis âgé aujourd'hui de quatre-vingt-cinq ans.

Ahora bien, Jehová me ha hecho vivir, como él dijo, estos cuarenta y cinco años, desde el tiempo que Jehová habló estas palabras á Moisés, cuando Israel andaba por el desierto: y ahora, he aquí, soy hoy día de ochenta y cinco años:

And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old.

Je suis encore aujourd'hui aussi robuste qu'au jour où Moïse m'envoya ; ma force de maintenant est la même que celle d'alors, soit pour combattre, soit pour sortir et pour entrer.

Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said.

Josué bénit Caleb, fils de Jéphoné, et il lui donna Hébron en héritage.

Josué entonces le bendijo, y dió á Caleb hijo de Jephone á Hebrón por heredad.

And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an inheritance.

C'est pourquoi Hébron appartient en héritage à Caleb, fils de Jéphoné, le Cénézéen, jusqu'à ce jour, parce qu'il avait entièrement suivi Yahweh, le Dieu d'Israël.

Por tanto Hebrón fué de Caleb, hijo de Jephone Cenezeo, en heredad hasta hoy; porque cumplió siguiendo á Jehová Dios de Israel.

Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed the LORD God of Israel.

Therefore Hebron became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite to this day, because he followed the LORD, the God of Israel wholeheartedly.

Hébron s'appelait autrefois Cariath-Arbé ; Arbé était l'homme le plus grand parmi les Enacim. Et le pays se reposa de la guerre.

Mas Hebrón fué antes llamada Chîriath-arba; fué Arba un hombre grande entre los Anaceos. Y la tierra tuvo reposo de las guerras.

And the name of Hebron before was Kirjath-arba; which Arba was a great man among the Anakims. And the land had rest from war.

Now the name of Hebron before was Kiriath Arba, after the greatest man among the Anakim. Then the land had rest from war.
