Für die einzelnen Geschlechter des Stammes Juda aber fiel das Los südwärts nach dem Gebiet der Edomiter, nach der Wüste Zin hin im äußersten Süden des Landes;

Y FUÉ la suerte de la tribu de los hijos de Judá, por sus familias, junto al término de Edom, del desierto de Zin al mediodía, al lado del sur.

This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; even to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward was the uttermost part of the south coast.

und zwar geht ihre Südgrenze vom Ende des Salzmeeres, von seiner Südspitze aus,

läuft dann weiter gegen die Südseite der Skorpionenhöhe, dann nach Zin hinüber, steigt aufwärts südlich von Kades-Barnea, geht dann weiter nach Hezron, zieht sich aufwärts nach Addar, wendet sich herum nach Karka,

And it went out to the south side to Maaleh-acrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadesh-barnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:

and it went out southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and went up by the south of Kadesh Barnea, and passed along by Hezron, went up to Addar, and turned toward Karka;

geht dann nach Azmon hinüber und setzt sich fort bis an den Bach Ägyptens, bis sie nach dem Meere hin ihr Ende erreicht: dies soll eure Südgrenze sein. –

De allí pasaba á Azmón, y salía al arroyo de Egipto; y sale este término al occidente. Este pues os será el término del mediodía.

From thence it passed toward Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast.

Die Ostgrenze aber bildet das Salzmeer bis zur Jordanmündung – und die Nordgrenze geht vom Nordende des Salzmeeres, von der Jordanmündung aus;

dann zieht sich die Grenze hinauf nach Beth-Holga und läuft weiter bis nördlich von Beth-Araba; dann zieht die Grenze sich aufwärts zum Felsen Bohans, des Sohnes Rubens,

geht dann vom Tal Achor aufwärts nach Debir, läuft mit veränderter Richtung nordwärts nach Gilgal, das der Anhöhe Adummim gegenüber liegt, die sich südlich von dem Bache befindet; dann zieht sich die Grenze hinüber nach dem Wasser En-Semes und läuft weiter nach der Quelle Rogel;

sodann geht sie im Tale Ben-Hinnom hinauf südlich vom Bergrücken der Jebusiter, das ist Jerusalem; weiter zieht die Grenze sich hinauf zu dem Gipfel des Berges, der westlich vor dem Tale Hinnom am Nordende der Talebene Rephaim liegt;

dann biegt die Grenze vom Gipfel des Berges um nach der Quelle des Wassers Nephthoah, läuft weiter nach den Ortschaften des Ephrongebirges hin und zieht mit veränderter Richtung nach Baala, das ist Kirjath-Jearim;

von Baala wendet sie sich dann westwärts nach dem Gebirge Seir, geht hierauf hinüber nach der Nordseite des Berges Jearim, das ist Kesalon, senkt sich hinab nach Beth-Semes und weiter nach Thimna;

And the border compassed from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Jearim, which is Chesalon, on the north side, and went down to Beth-shemesh, and passed on to Timnah:

dann läuft die Grenze weiter an den Nordabhang des Berges Ekron und mit veränderter Richtung nach Sikkeron, geht dann hinüber nach dem Berge von Baala, läuft weiter bis Jabneel und erreicht schließlich ihr Ende am Meer. –

And the border went out unto the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out unto Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea.

Die Westgrenze aber bildet das große Meer und sein Küstenland. Das ist die Grenze des Stammes der Judäer ringsum für ihre Geschlechter.

El término del occidente es la mar grande. Este pues, es el término de los hijos de Judá en derredor, por sus familias.

And the west border was to the great sea, and the coast thereof. This is the coast of the children of Judah round about according to their families.

Kaleb aber, dem Sohne Jephunnes, gab Josua einen Landbesitz mitten im Stamme Juda nach dem Befehl des HERRN an Josua, nämlich die Stadt Arbas, des Stammvaters der Enakiter, das ist Hebron.

Mas á Caleb, hijo de Jephone, dió parte entre los hijos de Judá, conforme al mandamiento de Jehová á Josué: esto es, á Chîriath-arba, del padre de Anac, que es Hebrón.

And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron.

Als nun Kaleb bekanntmachte: »Wer Kirjath-Sepher bezwingt und erobert, dem gebe ich meine Tochter Achsa zur Frau«

And it came to pass, as she came unto him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou?

When she came, she had him ask her father for a field. She got off her donkey, and Caleb said, “What do you want?”

antwortete sie: »Gib mir doch ein Abschiedsgeschenk! Weil du mich in das Südland verheiratet hast, so gib mir auch Wasserquellen!« Da gab er ihr die oberen und die unteren Brunnen.

Was aber die Jebusiter, die Bewohner von Jerusalem, anbetrifft, so vermochte der Stamm Juda sie nicht zu vertreiben; daher sind die Jebusiter in Jerusalem neben den Judäern wohnen geblieben bis auf den heutigen Tag.

Mas á los Jebuseos que habitaban en Jerusalem, los hijos de Judá no los pudieron desarraigar; antes quedó el Jebuseo en Jerusalem con los hijos de Judá, hasta hoy.
