Josué 16

POI fu tratta la sorte per li figliuoli di Giuseppe, e la lor parte scadde loro dal Giordano di Gerico, presso delle acque di Gerico, verso il Levante, traendo verso il deserto che sale da Gerico per li monti di Betel.

Y LA suerte del los hijos de José salió desde el Jordán de Jericó hasta las aguas de Jericó hacia el oriente, al desierto que sube de Jericó al monte de Beth-el:

And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, unto the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Beth-el,

The lot came out for the children of Joseph from the Jordan at Jericho, at the waters of Jericho on the east, even the wilderness, going up from Jericho through the hill country to Bethel.

E questo confine si stendeva da Betel verso Luz; poi passava lungo i confini degli Archei, fino ad Atarot;

Y de Beth-el sale á Luz, y pasa al término de Archi en Ataroth;

And goeth out from Beth-el to Luz, and passeth along unto the borders of Archi to Ataroth,

It went out from Bethel to Luz, and passed along to the border of the Archites to Ataroth;

poi scendeva verso Occidente, a' confini de' Giafletei, fino a' confini di Bet-horon disotto, e fino a Ghezer; e faceva capo al mare.

Y torna á descender hacia la mar al término de Japhlet, hasta el término de Beth-oron la de abajo, y hasta Gezer; y sale á la mar.

And goeth down westward to the coast of Japhleti, unto the coast of Beth-horon the nether, and to Gezer: and the goings out thereof are at the sea.

and it went down westward to the border of the Japhletites, to the border of Beth Horon the lower, and on to Gezer; and ended at the sea.

Così i figliuoli di Giuseppe, Manasse, ed Efraim, ebbero la loro eredità.

Recibieron pues heredad los hijos de José, Manasés y Ephraim.

So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.

Or il confine de' figliuoli di Efraim, distinti per le lor nazioni; il confine, dico, della loro eredità, dall'Oriente, fu Atrot-addar, fino a Bet-horon disopra.

Y fué el término de los hijos de Ephraim por sus familias, fué el término de su herencia á la parte oriental, desde Ataroth-addar hasta Beth-oron la de arriba:

And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus: even the border of their inheritance on the east side was Ataroth-addar, unto Beth-horon the upper;

This was the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families. The border of their inheritance eastward was Ataroth Addar, to Beth Horon the upper.

E questo confine si stendeva dal Settentrione verso l'Occidente, fino a Micmetat; e dall'Oriente si volgeva verso Taanat-Silo, e da quel luogo passava dall'Oriente fino a Ianoa.

Y sale este término á la mar, y á Michmetat al norte, y da vuelta este término hacia el oriente á Tanath-silo, y de aquí pasa del oriente á Janoa:

And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward unto Taanath-shiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah;

The border went out westward at Michmethath on the north. The border turned about eastward to Taanath Shiloh, and passed along it on the east of Janoah.

Poi scendeva da Ianoa in Atarot, e Naarat, e s'incontrava in Gerico, e faceva capo al Giordano.

Y de Janoa desciende á Ataroth, y á Naaratha, y toca en Jericó, y sale al Jordán.

And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came to Jericho, and went out at Jordan.

It went down from Janoah to Ataroth, to Naarah, reached to Jericho, and went out at the Jordan.

Questo confine andava da Tappua verso Occidente, fino alla valle delle canne, e faceva capo al mare. Questa fu l'eredità della tribù de' figliuoli di Efraim, secondo le lor nazioni.

Y de Tappua torna este término hacia la mar al arroyo de Cana, y sale á la mar. Esta es la heredad de la tribu de los hijos de Ephraim por sus familias.

The border went out from Tappuah westward unto the river Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.

From Tappuah the border went along westward to the brook of Kanah; and ended at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim according to their families;

Oltre alle città che furon messe da parte per li figliuoli di Efraim per mezzo l'eredità de' figliuoli di Manasse; tutte queste città, dico, con le lor villate.

Hubo también ciudades que se apartaron para los hijos de Ephraim en medio de la herencia de los hijos de Manasés, todas ciudades con sus aldeas.

And the separate cities for the children of Ephraim were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.

together with the cities which were set apart for the children of Ephraim in the middle of the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.

Or essi non iscacciarono i Cananei che abitavano in Ghezer: laonde que' Cananei son dimorati per mezzo Efraim infino a questo giorno, e sono stati fatti tributari.

Y no echaron al Cananeo que habitaba en Gezer; antes quedó el Cananeo en medio de Ephraim, hasta hoy, y fué tributario.

And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve under tribute.

They didn’t drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwell in the territory of Ephraim to this day, and have become servants to do forced labor.
