Sodann fiel den Nachkommen Josephs durch das Los ihr Anteil zu vom Jordan bei Jericho an und begriff im Osten das Uferland von Jericho, dann die Wüste, die sich von Jericho an aufsteigend im Gebirge nach Bethel erstreckt.

Y LA suerte del los hijos de José salió desde el Jordán de Jericó hasta las aguas de Jericó hacia el oriente, al desierto que sube de Jericó al monte de Beth-el:

And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, unto the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Beth-el,

The lot came out for the children of Joseph from the Jordan at Jericho, at the waters of Jericho on the east, even the wilderness, going up from Jericho through the hill country to Bethel.

Die Grenze läuft dann von Bethel weiter nach Lus und zieht sich hinüber nach dem Gebiet der Arkiter, nach Atharoth,

Y de Beth-el sale á Luz, y pasa al término de Archi en Ataroth;

And goeth out from Beth-el to Luz, and passeth along unto the borders of Archi to Ataroth,

It went out from Bethel to Luz, and passed along to the border of the Archites to Ataroth;

läuft hierauf westwärts hinab zum Gebiet der Japhletiter bis zum Gebiet von Unter-Beth-Horon und bis Geser; ihr Endpunkt liegt dann am Meer.

Y torna á descender hacia la mar al término de Japhlet, hasta el término de Beth-oron la de abajo, y hasta Gezer; y sale á la mar.

And goeth down westward to the coast of Japhleti, unto the coast of Beth-horon the nether, and to Gezer: and the goings out thereof are at the sea.

and it went down westward to the border of the Japhletites, to the border of Beth Horon the lower, and on to Gezer; and ended at the sea.

Dies ist der Erbbesitz, den die Nachkommen Josephs, die Stämme Manasse und Ephraim, erhielten.

And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus: even the border of their inheritance on the east side was Ataroth-addar, unto Beth-horon the upper;

This was the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families. The border of their inheritance eastward was Ataroth Addar, to Beth Horon the upper.

von da läuft die Grenze dem Meere zu. – Im Norden bildet Michmethath die Grenze, und zwar wendet sich die Grenze ostwärts nach Thaanath-Silo und geht daran östlich vorbei nach Janoha.

Y sale este término á la mar, y á Michmetat al norte, y da vuelta este término hacia el oriente á Tanath-silo, y de aquí pasa del oriente á Janoa:

And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went about eastward unto Taanath-shiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah;

The border went out westward at Michmethath on the north. The border turned about eastward to Taanath Shiloh, and passed along it on the east of Janoah.

Von Janoha senkt sie sich nach Ataroth und Naarath hinab, berührt dann Jericho und endet am Jordan.

Y de Janoa desciende á Ataroth, y á Naaratha, y toca en Jericó, y sale al Jordán.

And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came to Jericho, and went out at Jordan.

Von Thappuah aus geht die Grenze westwärts an den Bach Kana und erreicht ihr Ende am Meer. Dies ist der Erbbesitz des Stammes Ephraim, auf die einzelnen Geschlechter verteilt.

Y de Tappua torna este término hacia la mar al arroyo de Cana, y sale á la mar. Esta es la heredad de la tribu de los hijos de Ephraim por sus familias.

The border went out from Tappuah westward unto the river Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.

And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve under tribute.

They didn’t drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwell in the territory of Ephraim to this day, and have become servants to do forced labor.
