Und es ward ein Los dem Stamme Menaschehs, denn er war der Erstgeborene Josephs: an Machir, den Erstgeborenen Menaschehs, den Vater des Gilead; denn er war ein Kriegsmann, und es ward ihm Gilead und Baschan.

Y TUVO también suerte la tribu de Manasés, porque fué primogénito de José. Machîr, primogénito de Manasés, y padre de Galaad, el cual fué hombre de guerra, tuvo á Galaad y á Basán.

There was also a lot for the tribe of Manasseh; for he was the firstborn of Joseph; to wit, for Machir the firstborn of Manasseh, the father of Gilead: because he was a man of war, therefore he had Gilead and Bashan.

Und die übrigen Söhne Menaschehs nach ihren Familien: an die Söhne Abiesers und an die Söhne Cheleks und an die Söhne Asriels und an die Söhne Schechems und an die Söhne Chephers und an die Söhne Schemidas. Dies sind die Söhne Menaschehs, des Sohnes Josephs, die männlichen nach ihren Familien.

Tuvieron también suerte los otros hijos de Manasés conforme á sus familias: los hijos de Abiezer, y los hijos de Helec, y los hijos de Esriel, y los hijos de Sichêm, y los hijos de Hepher, y los hijos de Semida; estos fueron los hijos varones de Manasés hijo de José, por sus familias.

There was also a lot for the rest of the children of Manasseh by their families; for the children of Abiezer, and for the children of Helek, and for the children of Asriel, and for the children of Shechem, and for the children of Hepher, and for the children of Shemida: these were the male children of Manasseh the son of Joseph by their families.

So this was for the rest of the children of Manasseh according to their families: for the children of Abiezer, for the children of Helek, for the children of Asriel, for the children of Shechem, for the children of Hepher, and for the children of Shemida. These were the male children of Manasseh the son of Joseph according to their families.

Und Zelophchad, der Sohn Chephers ein Sohn Gileads, des Sohnes Machirs, des Sohnes Menaschehs, hatte keine Söhne, sondern nur Töchter. Und dies sind die Namen seiner Töchter: Machlah und Noah, Choglah, Milkah und Thirzah.

Estas vinieron delante de Eleazar sacerdote, y de Josué hijo de Nun, y de los príncipes, y dijeron: Jehová mandó á Moisés que nos diese herencia entre nuestros hermanos. Y él les dió herencia entre los hermanos del padre de ellas, conforme al dicho de Jehová.

And they came near before Eleazar the priest, and before Joshua the son of Nun, and before the princes, saying, The LORD commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our brethren. Therefore according to the commandment of the LORD he gave them an inheritance among the brethren of their father.

Und es fielen auf Menascheh zehn Erbteile, außer dem Lande Gilead und Baschan, jenseits des Jordans.

Y cayeron á Manasés diez suertes á más de la tierra de Galaad y de Basán, que está de la otra parte del Jordán:

And there fell ten portions to Manasseh, beside the land of Gilead and Bashan, which were on the other side Jordan;

Ten parts fell to Manasseh, in addition to the land of Gilead and Bashan, which is beyond the Jordan;

Denn die Töchter Menaschehs erbten ein Erbe in der Mitte seiner Söhne, und das Land Gilead ward den übrigen Söhnen Menaschehs.

And the coast of Manasseh was from Asher to Michmethah, that lieth before Shechem; and the border went along on the right hand unto the inhabitants of En-tappuah.

Now Manasseh had the land of Tappuah: but Tappuah on the border of Manasseh belonged to the children of Ephraim;

Und die Grenze ging hinab an Nachal Kanah auf der Mittagseite von dem Bache. Diese Städte sind Ephraims in der Mitte der Städte Menaschehs. Und die Grenze Menaschehs war nördlich vom Bache; und ihre Ausläufe waren an das Meer.

Y desciende este término al arroyo de Cana, hacia el mediodía del arroyo. Estas ciudades de Ephraim están entre las ciudades de Manasés: y el término de Manasés es desde el norte del mismo arroyo, y sus salidas son á la mar.

And the coast descended unto the river Kanah, southward of the river: these cities of Ephraim are among the cities of Manasseh: the coast of Manasseh also was on the north side of the river, and the outgoings of it were at the sea:

The border went down to the brook of Kanah, southward of the brook. These cities belonged to Ephraim among the cities of Manasseh. The border of Manasseh was on the north side of the brook, and ended at the sea.

Nach Mittag war es des Ephraim und nach Norden des Menascheh, und das Meer war seine Grenze; und an Ascher stießen sie gegen Mitternacht und gegen Aufgang an Issaschar.

Ephraim al mediodía, y Manasés al norte, y la mar es su término: y encuéntranse con Aser á la parte del norte, y con Issachâr al oriente.

Southward it was Ephraim’s, and northward it was Manasseh’s, and the sea is his border; and they met together in Asher on the north, and in Issachar on the east.

And Manasseh had in Issachar and in Asher Beth-shean and her towns, and Ibleam and her towns, and the inhabitants of Dor and her towns, and the inhabitants of Endor and her towns, and the inhabitants of Taanach and her towns, and the inhabitants of Megiddo and her towns, even three countries.

Manasseh had three heights in Issachar, in Asher Beth Shean and its towns, and Ibleam and its towns, and the inhabitants of Dor and its towns, and the inhabitants of Endor and its towns, and the inhabitants of Taanach and its towns, and the inhabitants of Megiddo and its towns.

Und die Söhne Menaschehs vermochten nicht diese Städte einzunehmen und ließen den Kanaaniter im Lande wohnen.

Mas los hijos de Manasés no pudieron echar á los de aquellas ciudades; antes el Cananeo quiso habitar en la tierra.

Yet the children of Manasseh could not drive out the inhabitants of those cities; but the Canaanites would dwell in that land.

Yet it came to pass, when the children of Israel were waxen strong, that they put the Canaanites to tribute; but did not utterly drive them out.

Und die Söhne Josephs redeten zu Joschua und sagten: Warum hast du mir nur ein Los und einen Erbteil zum Erbe gegeben, und ich habe viel Volks, sintemal Jehovah mich so gesegnet hat?

Y los hijos de José hablaron á Josué, diciendo: ¿Por qué me has dado por heredad una sola suerte y una sola parte, siendo yo un pueblo tan grande y que Jehová me ha así bendecido hasta ahora?

And the children of Joseph spake unto Joshua, saying, Why hast thou given me but one lot and one portion to inherit, seeing I am a great people, forasmuch as the LORD hath blessed me hitherto?

The children of Joseph spoke to Joshua, saying, “Why have you given me just one lot and one part for an inheritance, since we are a numerous people, because the LORD has blessed us so far?”

Und Joschua sprach zu ihnen: Wenn du viel Volk hast, so zieh hinauf in den Wald und haue ihn dir dort nieder, im Lande der Pherisiter und der Rephaim, so euch zu eng ist das Gebirge Ephraim!

Y Josué les respondió: Si eres pueblo tan grande, sube tú al monte, y corta para ti allí en la tierra del Pherezeo y de los gigantes, pues que el monte de Ephraim es angosto para ti.

And Joshua answered them, If thou be a great people, then get thee up to the wood country, and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee.

Joshua said to them, “If you are a numerous people, go up to the forest, and clear land for yourself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the Rephaim, since the hill country of Ephraim is too narrow for you.”

Und die Söhne Josephs sprachen: Den Berg werden wir nicht erlangen, und alle Kanaaniter, die in dem Lande des Talgrundes wohnen, die in Beth-Schean und ihren Töchterstädten und die im Tale Jesreel haben eiserne Streitwagen.

Y los hijos de José dijeron: No nos bastará á nosotros este monte: y todos los Cananeos que habitan la tierra de la campiña, tienen carros herrados; los que están en Beth-san y en sus aldeas, y los que están en el valle de Jezreel.

And the children of Joseph said, The hill is not enough for us: and all the Canaanites that dwell in the land of the valley have chariots of iron, both they who are of Beth-shean and her towns, and they who are of the valley of Jezreel.

The children of Joseph said, “The hill country is not enough for us. All the Canaanites who dwell in the land of the valley have chariots of iron, both those who are in Beth Shean and its towns, and those who are in the valley of Jezreel.”

Und Joschua sprach zu dem Hause Joseph, zu Ephraim und Menascheh und sagte: Viel Volks hast du und hast große Kraft. Du sollst nicht ein Los haben;

Entonces Josué respondió á la casa de José, á Ephraim y Manasés, diciendo: Tú eres gran pueblo, y tienes gran fuerza; no tendrás una sola suerte;

And Joshua spake unto the house of Joseph, even to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying, Thou art a great people, and hast great power: thou shalt not have one lot only:

Joshua spoke to the house of Joseph, that is, to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying, “You are a numerous people, and have great power. You shall not have one lot only;

Sondern einen Berg sollst du haben, da Wald ist, und so du ihn niederhaust, sollen seine Ausläufe dein sein, denn du wirst den Kanaaniter austreiben, so er auch eiserne Wagen hat, so stark ist er.

Mas aquel monte será tuyo; que bosque es, y tú lo cortarás, y serán tuyos sus términos: porque tú echarás al Cananeo, aunque tenga carros herrados, y aunque sea fuerte.

But the mountain shall be thine; for it is a wood, and thou shalt cut it down: and the outgoings of it shall be thine: for thou shalt drive out the Canaanites, though they have iron chariots, and though they be strong.

but the hill country shall be yours. Although it is a forest, you shall cut it down, and it’s farthest extent shall be yours; for you shall drive out the Canaanites, though they have chariots of iron, and though they are strong.”
