En ce temps-là, toute la synagogue des fils d'Israël se réunit à Silo ; ils y dressèrent le tabernacle du témoignage, et la terre promise était subjuguée par eux.

Et les hommes vinrent près de lui, et il leur fit sept parts, disant : Juda sera leur limite au midi, et les fils de Joseph au nord.

Les hommes se levèrent pour partir, et Josué leur prescrivit de parcourir toute la terre, disant : Allez, et parcourez la terre, et revenez vers moi, ici en Silo, où je vous désignerai vos parts, par la voie du sort, devant le Seigneur.

Levantándose pues aquellos varones, fueron: y mandó Josué á los que iban para delinear la tierra, diciéndoles: Id, recorred la tierra, y delineadla, y tornad á mí, para que yo os eche las suertes aquí delante de Jehová en Silo.

And the men arose, and went away: and Joshua charged them that went to describe the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and come again to me, that I may here cast lots for you before the LORD in Shiloh.

Ils partirent, parcoururent et virent la terre dont ils firent la description en un livre, où ils indiquèrent sept parts, et qu'ils apportèrent à Josué.

And the border went over from thence toward Luz, to the side of Luz, which is Beth-el, southward; and the border descended to Ataroth-adar, near the hill that lieth on the south side of the nether Beth-horon.

The border passed along from there to Luz, to the side of Luz (also called Bethel), southward. The border went down to Ataroth Addar, by the mountain that lies on the south of Beth Horon the lower.

Après cela, elle traverse et côtoie le territoire qui regarde l'occident, et qui part, au midi, des montagnes en face de Bethoron-Sud. Elle aboutit à Cariath-Baal, la même que Cariathiarim, ville des fils de Juda. Tel est le côté de l'occident.

Y torna este término, y da vuelta al lado de la mar, al mediodía hasta el monte que está delante de Beth-oron al mediodía; y viene á salir á Chîriath-baal, que es Chîriath-jearim, ciudad de los hijos de Judá. Este es el lado del occidente.

And the border was drawn thence, and compassed the corner of the sea southward, from the hill that lieth before Beth-horon southward; and the goings out thereof were at Kirjath-baal, which is Kirjath-jearim, a city of the children of Judah: this was the west quarter.

The border extended, and turned around on the west quarter southward, from the mountain that lies before Beth Horon southward; and ended at Kiriath Baal (also called Kiriath Jearim), a city of the children of Judah. This was the west quarter.

And the border came down to the end of the mountain that lieth before the valley of the son of Hinnom, and which is in the valley of the giants on the north, and descended to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of Jebusi on the south, and descended to En-rogel,

The border went down to the farthest part of the mountain that lies before the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is in the valley of Rephaim northward. It went down to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite southward, and went down to En Rogel.

Ensuite, elle traverse la fontaine Bethsamys ; Puis, elle côtoie Galiloth, qui est en face de la hauteur d'Ethamim ; elle descend vers la roche de Béon, fils de Ruben.

Y del norte torna y sale á Ensemes, y de allí sale á Geliloth, que está delante de la subida de Adummim, y descendía á la piedra de Bohan, hijo de Rubén:

And was drawn from the north, and went forth to En-shemesh, and went forth toward Geliloth, which is over against the going up of Adummim, and descended to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben,

It extended northward, went out at En Shemesh, and went out to Geliloth, which is opposite the ascent of Adummim. It went down to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben.

Y torna á pasar este término por el lado de Beth-hogla hacia el norte, y viene á salir el término á la lengua del mar Salado al norte, al cabo del Jordán al mediodía. Este es el término de hacia el mediodía.

And the border passed along to the side of Beth-hoglah northward: and the outgoings of the border were at the north bay of the salt sea at the south end of Jordan: this was the south coast.

Le Jourdain est sa limite du côté de l'orient ; tel est l'héritage des fils de Benjamin, par familles ; telles sont ses limites.

And Zelah, Eleph, and Jebusi, which is Jerusalem, Gibeath, and Kirjath; fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the children of Benjamin according to their families.
