9Estas ciudades de refugio acogerían por igual a los extranjeros que vivían en Israel y a los israelitas, haciendo que todo aquel que cometiera un homicidio accidental pudiera huir a ellas para tener un juicio justo y no ser muerto por venganza.

9Estas fueron las ciudades señaladas para todos los hijos de Israel, y para el extranjero que morase entre ellos, para que se acogiese á ellas cualquiera que hiriese hombre por yerro, y no muriese por mano del cercano del muerto, hasta que compareciese delante del ayuntamiento.
