9Éstas fueron las ciudades de refugio señaladas para todos los hijos de Israel y el extranjero que vive en medio de ellos, a fin de que huya allí cualquiera que mate a alguno por accidente, con el propósito de que no perezca por mano del vengador de la sangre antes de comparecer ante la congregación.

9Estas fueron las ciudades señaladas para todos los hijos de Israel, y para el extranjero que morase entre ellos, para que se acogiese á ellas cualquiera que hiriese hombre por yerro, y no muriese por mano del cercano del muerto, hasta que compareciese delante del ayuntamiento.

9These were the cities appointed for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them, that whosoever killeth any person at unawares might flee thither, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he stood before the congregation.
