Josué 20

Puis l’Eternel parla à Josué en disant :

Y HABLÓ Jehová á Josué, diciendo:

Parle aux enfants d’Israël, et leur dis : Etablissez-vous les villes de refuge desquelles je vous ai parlé par le moyen de Moïse.

Habla á los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Señalaos las ciudades de refugio, de las cuales yo os hablé por Moisés;

Speak to the children of Israel, saying, Appoint out for you cities of refuge, whereof I spake unto you by the hand of Moses:

“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Assign the cities of refuge, of which I spoke to you by Moses,

Afin que le meurtrier qui aura tué quelqu’un par ignorance, sans y penser, s’y enfuie, et elles vous seront pour refuge devant celui qui a le droit de venger le sang.

Para que se acoja allí el homicida que matare á alguno por yerro y no á sabiendas; que os sean por acogimiento del cercano del muerto.

That the slayer that killeth any person unawares and unwittingly may flee thither: and they shall be your refuge from the avenger of blood.

that the man slayer who kills any person accidentally or unintentionally may flee there. They shall be to you for a refuge from the avenger of blood.

Et le meurtrier s’enfuira dans l’une de ces villes-là, et s’arrêtera à l’entrée de la porte de la ville, et il dira ses raisons aux Anciens de cette ville-là, lesquels l’écouteront, et le recevront chez eux dans la ville, et lui donneront un lieu, afin qu’il demeure avec eux.

Y el que se acogiere á alguna de aquellas ciudades, presentaráse á la puerta de la ciudad, y dirá sus causas, oyéndolo los ancianos de aquella ciudad: y ellos le recibirán consigo dentro de la ciudad, y le darán lugar que habite con ellos.

And when he that doth flee unto one of those cities shall stand at the entering of the gate of the city, and shall declare his cause in the ears of the elders of that city, they shall take him into the city unto them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them.

Et quand celui qui a le droit de venger le sang le poursuivra, ils ne le livreront point en sa main ; puisque c’est sans y penser qu’il a tué son prochain, et qu’il ne le haïssait point auparavant ;

Y cuando el cercano del muerto le siguiere, no entregarán en su mano al homicida, por cuanto hirió á su prójimo por yerro, ni tuvo con él antes enemistad.

And if the avenger of blood pursue after him, then they shall not deliver the slayer up into his hand; because he smote his neighbour unwittingly, and hated him not beforetime.

If the avenger of blood pursues him, then they shall not deliver up the man slayer into his hand; because he struck his neighbor unintentionally, and didn’t hate him before.

Mais il demeurera dans cette ville-là, jusqu’à ce qu’il comparaisse devant l’assemblée en jugement, même jusqu’à la mort du souverain Sacrificateur qui sera en ce temps-là ; alors le meurtrier retournera, et viendra dans sa ville et dans sa maison, à la ville dont il s’en sera fui.

Y quedará en aquella ciudad hasta que parezca en juicio delante del ayuntamiento, hasta la muerte del gran sacerdote que fuere en aquel tiempo: entonces el homicida tornará y vendrá á su ciudad y á su casa y á la ciudad de donde huyó.

And he shall dwell in that city, until he stand before the congregation for judgment, and until the death of the high priest that shall be in those days: then shall the slayer return, and come unto his own city, and unto his own house, unto the city from whence he fled.

Ils consacrèrent donc Kédès dans la Galilée en la montagne de Nephthali ; et Sichem en la montagne d’Ephraïm, et Kirjath-Arbah, qui est Hébron, en la montagne de Juda.

Entonces señalaron á Cedes en Galilea, en el monte de Nephtalí, y á Sichêm en el monte de Ephraim, y á Chîriath-arba, que es Hebrón, en el monte de Judá.

And they appointed Kedesh in Galilee in mount Naphtali, and Shechem in mount Ephraim, and Kirjath-arba, which is Hebron, in the mountain of Judah.

They set apart Kedesh in Galilee in the hill country of Naphtali, Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim, and Kiriath Arba (also called Hebron) in the hill country of Judah.

Et au delà du Jourdain de Jérico vers le Levant ils ordonnèrent de la Tribu de Ruben, Betser au désert dans le plat pays, et Ramoth en Galaad, de la Tribu de Gad, et Golan en Basan, de la Tribu de Manassé.

Y de la otra parte del Jordán de Jericó, al oriente, señalaron á Beser en el desierto, en la llanura de la tribu de Rubén, y á Ramoth en Galaad de la tribu de Gad, y á Gaulón en Basán de la tribu de Manasés.

And on the other side Jordan by Jericho eastward, they assigned Bezer in the wilderness upon the plain out of the tribe of Reuben, and Ramoth in Gilead out of the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan out of the tribe of Manasseh.

Ce furent là les villes assignées à tous les enfants d’Israël, et à l’étranger demeurant parmi eux, afin que quiconque aurait tué quelqu’un par ignorance s’enfuît là, et ne mourût point de la main de celui qui a le droit de venger le sang, jusqu’à ce qu’il comparût devant l’assemblée.

Estas fueron las ciudades señaladas para todos los hijos de Israel, y para el extranjero que morase entre ellos, para que se acogiese á ellas cualquiera que hiriese hombre por yerro, y no muriese por mano del cercano del muerto, hasta que compareciese delante del ayuntamiento.

These were the cities appointed for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them, that whosoever killeth any person at unawares might flee thither, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he stood before the congregation.
