Josué 21

Los dirigentes de la tribu de Leví fueron a Siló a hacer una consulta al sacerdote Eleazar, a Josué y a los jefes de las tribus, y les dijeron:

Y LOS principales de los padres de los Levitas vinieron á Eleazar sacerdote, y á Josué hijo de Nun, y á los principales de los padres de las tribus de los hijos de Israel;

Then came near the heads of the fathers of the Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel;

Then the heads of fathers’ houses of the Levites came near to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of fathers’ houses of the tribes of the children of Israel.

«El Señor instruyó a Moisés para que nos diera ciudades donde tuviéramos nuestras casas y tierras de pastoreo para nuestro ganado».

Y habláronles en Silo en la tierra de Canaán, diciendo: Jehová mandó por Moisés que nos fuesen dadas villas para habitar, con sus ejidos para nuestras bestias.

And they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle.

Entonces les entregaron algunas de las ciudades recientemente conquistadas con sus tierras de pastoreo.

Entonces los hijos de Israel dieron á los Levitas de sus posesiones, conforme á la palabra de Jehová, estas villas con sus ejidos.

And the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, at the commandment of the LORD, these cities and their suburbs.

Trece de estas ciudades habían sido asignadas originalmente a las tribus de Judá, Simeón y Benjamín, y fueron dadas echando suerte a algunos de los sacerdotes del grupo de Coat de la tribu de Leví, descendientes de Aarón.

Y salió la suerte por las familias de los Coathitas; y fueron dadas por suerte á los hijos de Aarón sacerdote, que eran de los Levitas, por la tribu de Judá, por la de Simeón y por la de Benjamín, trece villas.

And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, which were of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.

Las demás familias de Coat recibieron diez ciudades de los territorios de Efraín, Dan y de la media tribu de Manasés.

Y á los otros hijos de Coath se dieron por suerte diez villas de las familias de la tribu de Ephraim, y de la tribu de Dan, y de la media tribu de Manasés;

And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.

Los descendientes de Gersón recibieron trece ciudades seleccionadas por sorteo en el área de Basán. Estas ciudades fueron dadas por las tribus de Isacar, Aser, Neftalí y la media tribu de Manasés.

Y á los hijos de Gersón, por las familias de la tribu de Issachâr, y de la tribu de Aser, y de la tribu de Nephtalí, y de la media tribu de Manasés en Basán, fueron dadas por suerte trece villas.

And the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

Los descendientes de Merari recibieron doce ciudades de las tribus de Rubén, Gad y Zabulón.

A los hijos de Merari por sus familias se dieron doce villas por la tribu de Rubén, y por la tribu de Gad, y por la tribu de Zabulón.

The children of Merari by their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

The children of Merari according to their families had twelve cities out of the tribe of Reuben, out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun.

De esta manera se obedeció el mandato dado por Dios a Moisés, y por medio de sorteo se asignaron las ciudades y las tierras de pastoreo a los levitas.

Y así dieron por suerte los hijos de Israel á los Levitas estas villas con sus ejidos, como Jehová lo había mandado por Moisés.

And the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.

Los primeros en recibir su asignación fueron los sacerdotes descendientes de Aarón miembro de los levitas de la familia de Coat. Las tribus de Judá y Simeón les dieron las nueve ciudades nombradas a continuación con sus correspondientes tierras de pastoreo: Hebrón, en las colinas de Judá, como ciudad de refugio, que también se llamaba Quiriat Arbá. (Arbá era el padre de Anac). La tribu de Benjamín les dio estas cuatro ciudades con sus tierras de pastoreo: Gabaón, Gueba, Anatot y Almón.

Así que en total fueron trece las ciudades entregadas a los sacerdotes, descendientes de Aarón.

Las otras familias de los descendientes de Coat recibieron cuatro ciudades y tierras de pastoreo de la tribu de Efraín: Siquén (ciudad de refugio), Guézer, Quibsayin, y Bet Jorón.

Mas las familias de los hijos de Coath, Levitas, los que quedaban de los hijos de Coath, recibieron por suerte villas de la tribu de Ephraim.

And the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites which remained of the children of Kohath, even they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.

Las siguientes cuatro ciudades con sus tierras de pastoreo fueron dadas por la tribu de Dan: Eltequé, Guibetón, Ayalón y Gat Rimón.

La media tribu de Manasés entregó las ciudades de Tanac y Gat Rimón con sus correspondientes tierras de pastoreo.

Y de la media tribu de Manasés, á Taanach con sus ejidos, y á Gath-rimmón con sus ejidos: dos villas.

And out of the half tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbs; two cities.

De modo que en total fueron diez las ciudades y tierras de pastoreo dadas a las demás familias de los coatitas.

Todas las villas para el resto de las familias de los hijos de Coath fueron diez con sus ejidos.

All the cities were ten with their suburbs for the families of the children of Kohath that remained.

Los levitas descendientes de Gersón, recibieron dos ciudades y tierras de pastoreo de la media tribu de Manasés: Golán en Basán (ciudad de refugio) y Besterá.

A los hijos de Gersón de las familias de los Levitas, dieron la villa de refugio para los homicidas, de la media tribu de Manasés: á Gaulón en Basán con sus ejidos, y á Bosra con sus ejidos: dos villas.

And unto the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the other half tribe of Manasseh they gave Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Beesh-terah with her suburbs; two cities.

They gave to the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the half-tribe of Manasseh Golan in Bashan with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, and Be Eshterah with its pasture lands: two cities.

La tribu de Aser dio cuatro ciudades con sus tierras de pastoreo: Miseal, Abdón, Jelcat, y Rejob.

And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Hammoth-dor with her suburbs, and Kartan with her suburbs; three cities.

Fueron trece ciudades con sus tierras de pastoreo las asignadas a los descendientes de la familia de Guersón.

Todas las villas de los Gersonitas por sus familias fueron trece villas con sus ejidos.

Gad les dio cuatro ciudades con sus tierras de pastoreo: Ramot de Galaad (ciudad de refugio), Majanayin, Hesbón y Jazer.

De la tribu de Gad, la villa de refugio para los homicidas, Ramoth en Galaad con sus ejidos, y Mahanaim con sus ejidos,

And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Mahanaim with her suburbs,

Hesbón con sus ejidos, y Jacer con sus ejidos: cuatro villas.

De modo que las familias de los descendientes de Merari recibieron doce ciudades en total.

Todas las villas de los hijos de Merari por sus familias, que restaban de las familias de los Levitas, fueron por sus suertes doce villas.

So all the cities for the children of Merari by their families, which were remaining of the families of the Levites, were by their lot twelve cities.

All these were the cities of the children of Merari according to their families, even the rest of the families of the Levites. Their lot was twelve cities.

El total de las ciudades y tierras de pastoreo asignadas a los levitas fue de cuarenta y ocho.

Y todas la villas de los Levitas en medio de la posesión de los hijos de Israel, fueron cuarenta y ocho villas con sus ejidos.

All the cities of the Levites within the possession of the children of Israel were forty and eight cities with their suburbs.

All the cities of the Levites among the possessions of the children of Israel were forty-eight cities with their pasture lands.

Y estas ciudades estaban apartadas la una de la otra cada cual con sus ejidos alrededor de ellas: lo cual fué en todas estas ciudades.

These cities were every one with their suburbs round about them: thus were all these cities.

Each of these cities included their pasture lands around them. It was this way with all these cities.

De este modo el Señor le dio a Israel toda la tierra que le había prometido a sus antepasados, y ellos entraron y la conquistaron, y vivieron allí.

Así dió Jehová á Israel toda la tierra que había jurado dar á sus padres; y poseyéronla, y habitaron en ella.

And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.

So the LORD gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give to their fathers. They possessed it, and lived in it.

Y el Señor les dio paz, como lo había prometido, y nadie pudo hacerles frente. El Señor les ayudó a destruir a todos sus enemigos.

Y Jehová les dió reposo alrededor, conforme á todo lo que había jurado á sus padres: y ninguno de todos los enemigos les paró delante, sino que Jehová entregó en sus manos á todos sus enemigos.

And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.

The LORD gave them rest all around, according to all that he swore to their fathers. Not a man of all their enemies stood before them. The LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.

Cada cosa buena que les había prometido se cumplió.

No faltó palabra de todas la buenas que habló Jehová á la casa de Israel; todo se cumplió.

There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

Nothing failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.
