Josué 23

Or il arriva plusieurs jours après, que l’Eternel ayant donné du repos à Israël de tous leurs ennemis à l’environ, Josué était vieux, fort avancé en âge.

Y ACONTECIÓ, pasados muchos días después que Jehová dió reposo á Israel de todos sus enemigos al contorno, que Josué, siendo viejo, y entrado en días,

And it came to pass a long time after that the LORD had given rest unto Israel from all their enemies round about, that Joshua waxed old and stricken in age.

After many days, when the LORD had given rest to Israel from their enemies all around, and Joshua was old and well advanced in years,

Et Josué appela tout Israël, ses Anciens, et ses chefs, et ses juges, et ses officiers, et leur dit : Je suis devenu vieux, fort avancé en âge.

Llamó á todo Israel, á sus ancianos, á sus príncipes, á sus jueces y á sus oficiales, y díjoles: Yo soy ya viejo y entrado en días:

And Joshua called for all Israel, and for their elders, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers, and said unto them, I am old and stricken in age:

Vous avez vu aussi tout ce que l’Eternel votre Dieu a fait à toutes ces nations, à cause de vous ; car l’Eternel votre Dieu est celui qui combat pour vous.

Y vosotros habéis visto todo lo que Jehová vuestro Dios ha hecho con todas estas gentes en vuestra presencia; porque Jehová vuestro Dios ha peleado por vosotros.

And ye have seen all that the LORD your God hath done unto all these nations because of you; for the LORD your God is he that hath fought for you.

You have seen all that the LORD your God has done to all these nations because of you; for it is the LORD your God who has fought for you.

Voyez, je vous ai partagé par sort en héritage selon vos Tribus, le pays de ces nations qui sont restées, depuis le Jourdain, et le pays de toutes les nations que j’ai exterminées, jusqu’à la grande mer, vers le soleil couchant.

He aquí os he repartido por suerte, en herencia para vuestras tribus, estas gentes, así las destruídas como las que quedan, desde el Jordán hasta la gran mar hacia donde el sol se pone.

Behold, I have divided unto you by lot these nations that remain, to be an inheritance for your tribes, from Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off, even unto the great sea westward.

Behold, I have allotted to you these nations that remain, to be an inheritance for your tribes, from the Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off, even to the great sea toward the going down of the sun.

Et l’Eternel votre Dieu les chassera de devant vous, et les dépossédera ; et vous posséderez leur pays en héritage, comme l’Eternel votre Dieu vous en a parlé.

Y Jehová vuestro Dios las echará de delante de vosotros, y las lanzará de vuestra presencia: y vosotros poseeréis sus tierras, como Jehová vuestro Dios os ha dicho.

And the LORD your God, he shall expel them from before you, and drive them from out of your sight; and ye shall possess their land, as the LORD your God hath promised unto you.

The LORD your God will thrust them out from before you, and drive them from out of your sight. You shall possess their land, as the LORD your God spoke to you.

Fortifiez-vous donc de plus en plus, pour garder et faire tout ce qui est écrit au livre de la Loi de Moïse ; afin que vous ne vous en détourniez ni à droite ni à gauche ;

Esforzaos pues mucho á guardar y hacer todo lo que está escrito en el libro de la ley de Moisés, sin apartaros de ello ni á la diestra ni á la siniestra;

Be ye therefore very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to the right hand or to the left;

Et que vous ne vous mêliez point avec ces nations qui sont restées parmi vous ; que vous ne fassiez point mention du nom de leurs dieux ; et que vous ne fassiez jurer personne par eux, et que vous ne les serviez point, et ne vous prosterniez point devant eux.

Que cuando entrareis á estas gentes que han quedado con vosotros, no hagáis mención ni juréis por el nombre de sus dioses, ni los sirváis, ni os inclinéis á ellos:

That ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow yourselves unto them:

that you not come among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow down yourselves to them;

Mais attachez-vous à l’Eternel votre Dieu, comme vous avez fait jusqu’à ce jour.

Mas á Jehová vuestro Dios os allegaréis, como habéis hecho hasta hoy;

But cleave unto the LORD your God, as ye have done unto this day.

but hold fast to the LORD your God, as you have done to this day.

C’est pour cela que l’Eternel a dépossédé de devant vous des nations grandes et fortes ; et quant à vous, nul n’a subsisté devant vous jusqu’à ce jour.

Pues ha echado Jehová delante de vosotros grandes y fuertes naciones, y hasta hoy nadie ha podido parar delante de vuestro rostro.

For the LORD hath driven out from before you great nations and strong: but as for you, no man hath been able to stand before you unto this day.

“For the LORD has driven great and strong nations out from before you. But as for you, no man has stood before you to this day.

Un seul homme d’entre vous en poursuivra mille ; car l’Eternel votre Dieu est celui qui combat pour vous, comme il vous en a parlé.

Un varón de vosotros perseguirá á mil: porque Jehová vuestro Dios pelea por vosotros, como él os dijo.

One man of you shall chase a thousand: for the LORD your God, he it is that fighteth for you, as he hath promised you.

One man of you shall chase a thousand; for it is the LORD your God who fights for you, as he spoke to you.

Prenez donc garde soigneusement sur vos âmes, que vous aimiez l’Eternel votre Dieu.

Por tanto, cuidad mucho por vuestras almas, que améis á Jehová vuestro Dios.

Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the LORD your God.

Autrement si vous vous en détournez en aucune manière et que vous vous attachiez au reste de ces nations, savoir à ceux qui sont demeurés de reste avec vous, et que vous fassiez alliance avec eux, et que vous vous mêliez avec eux, et eux avec vous ;

Porque si os apartareis, y os allegareis á lo que resta de aquestas gentes que han quedado con vosotros, y si concertareis con ellas matrimonios, y entrareis á ellas, y ellas á vosotros;

Else if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you:

“But if you do at all go back, and hold fast to the remnant of these nations, even these who remain among you, and make marriages with them, and go in to them, and they to you;

Sachez certainement que l’Eternel votre Dieu ne continuera plus à déposséder ces nations devant vous ; mais elles vous seront en pièges, et en filet, et comme un fléau à vos côtés, et comme des épines à vos yeux, jusqu’à ce que vous périssiez de dessus cette bonne terre que l’Eternel votre Dieu vous a donnée.

Sabed que Jehová vuestro Dios no echará más estas gentes delante de vosotros; antes os serán por lazo, y por tropiezo, y por azote para vuestros costados, y por espinas para vuestros ojos, hasta tanto que perezcáis de aquesta buena tierra que Jehová vuestro Dios os ha dado.

Know for a certainty that the LORD your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.

Or voici, je m’en vais aujourd’hui par le chemin de toute la terre ; et vous connaîtrez dans tout votre cœur, et dans toute votre âme qu’il n’est point tombé un seul mot de toutes les bonnes paroles que l’Eternel votre Dieu a dites de vous ; tout vous est arrivé, il n’en est pas tombé un seul mot.

Y he aquí que yo estoy para entrar hoy por el camino de toda la tierra: reconoced, pues, con todo vuestro corazón y con toda vuestra alma, que no se ha perdido una palabra de todas la buenas palabras que Jehová vuestro Dios había dicho de vosotros: todas os han venido, no se ha perdido de ellas ni una.

And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.

“Behold, today I am going the way of all the earth. You know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spoke concerning you. All have happened to you. Not one thing has failed of it.

Et il arrivera que comme toutes les bonnes paroles que l’Eternel votre Dieu vous avait dites vous sont arrivées ; ainsi l’Eternel fera venir sur vous toutes les mauvaises paroles, jusqu’à ce qu’il vous ait exterminés de dessus cette bonne terre que l’Eternel votre Dieu vous a donnée.

Mas será, que como ha venido sobre vosotros toda palabra buena que Jehová vuestro Dios os había dicho, así también traerá Jehová sobre vosotros toda palabra mala, hasta destruiros de sobre la buena tierra que Jehová vuestro Dios os ha dado;

Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.

It shall happen that as all the good things have come on you of which the LORD your God spoke to you, so the LORD will bring on you all the evil things, until he has destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God has given you,

Quand vous aurez transgressé l’alliance de l’Eternel votre Dieu, qu’il vous a commandée, et que vous serez allés servir d’autres dieux, et vous serez prosternés devant eux, la colère de l’Eternel s’enflammera contre vous, et vous périrez incontinent de dessus cette bonne terre qu’il vous a donnée.

Cuando traspasareis el pacto de Jehová vuestro Dios que él os ha mandado, yendo y honrando dioses ajenos, é inclinándoos á ellos. Y el furor de Jehová se inflamará contra vosotros, y luego pereceréis de aquesta buena tierra que él os ha dado.

When ye have transgressed the covenant of the LORD your God, which he commanded you, and have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which he hath given unto you.

when you disobey the covenant of the LORD your God, which he commanded you, and go and serve other gods, and bow down yourselves to them. Then the LORD’s anger will be kindled against you, and you will perish quickly from off the good land which he has given to you.”
