Josué 24

Josua versammelte alle Stamme Israels gen Sichem und berief die Altesten von Israel, die Haupter, Richter und Amtleute. Und da sie vor Gott getreten waren,

Y JUNTANDO Josué todas las tribus de Israel en Sichêm, llamó á los ancianos de Israel, y á sus príncipes, á sus jueces, y á sus oficiales; y presentáronse delante de Dios.

And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods.

Da nahm ich euren Vater Abraham jenseit des Wassers und lieft ihn wandern im ganzen Lande Kanaan; und mehrete ihm seinen Samen und gab ihm Isaak.

Da sandte ich Mose und Aaron und plagte Agypten, wie ich unter ihnen getan habe.

da schrieen sie zum HERRN; der setzte eine Finsternis zwischen euch und den Agyptern; und fuhrete das Meer uber sie und bedeckte sie. Und eure Augen haben gesehen, was ich in Agypten getan habe. Und ihr habt gewohnet in der Wuste eine lange Zeit.

Da machte sich auf Balak, der Sohn Zipors, der Moabiter Konig, und stritt wider Israel und sandte hin und lieft rufen Bileam, dem Sohn Beors, daß er euch verfluchete.

Aber ich wollte ihn nicht horen. Und er segnete euch; und ich errettete euch aus seinen Handen.

Und sandte Hornissen vor euch her; die trieben sie aus vor euch her, die zween Konige der Amoriter, nicht durch dein Schwert noch durch deinen Bogen.

Y envié tábanos delante de vosotros, los cuales los echaron de delante de vosotros, á saber, á los dos reyes de los Amorrheos; no con tu espada, ni con tu arco.

And I have given you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat.

So furchtet nun den HERRN und dienet ihm treulich und rechtschaffen; und lasset fahren die Gotter, denen eure Vater gedienet haben jenseit des Wassers und in Agypten, und dienet dem HERRN.

Ahora pues, temed á Jehová, y servidle con integridad y en verdad; y quitad de en medio los dioses á los cuales sirvieron vuestros padres de esotra parte del río, y en Egipto; y servid á Jehová.

Gefallt es euch aber nicht, daß ihr dem HERRN dienet, so erwahlet euch heute, welchem ihr dienen wollet: dem Gott, dem eure Vater gedienet haben jenseit des Wassers, Oder den Gottern der Amoriter, in welcher Land ihr wohnet. Ich aber und mein Haus wollen dem HERRN dienen.

Y si mal os parece servir á Jehová, escogeos hoy á quién sirváis; si á los dioses á quienes sirvieron vuestros padres, cuando estuvieron de esotra parte del río, ó á los dioses de los Amorrheos en cuya tierra habitáis: que yo y mi casa serviremos á Jehová.

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Da antwortete das Volk und sprach: Das sei feme von uns, daß wir den HERRN verlassen und andern Gottern dienen!

Denn der HERR, unser Gott, hat uns und unsere Vater aus Agyptenland gefuhret, aus dem Diensthause, und hat vor unsern Augen solche grofte Zeichen getan und uns behutet auf dem ganzen Wege, den wir gezogen sind, und unter alien Volkern, durch welche wirgegangen sind;

Porque Jehová nuestro Dios es el que nos sacó á nosotros y á nuestros padres de la tierra de Egipto, de la casa de servidumbre; el cual delante de nuestros ojos ha hecho estas grandes señales, y nos ha guardado por todo el camino por donde hemos andado, y en todos los pueblos por entre los cuales pasamos.

For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:

und hat ausgestoften vor uns her alle Volker der Amoriter, die im Lande wohneten. Darum wollen wir auch dem HERRN dienen; denn er ist unser Gott.

Y Jehová echó de delante de nosotros á todos los pueblos, y al Amorrheo que habitaba en la tierra: nosotros, pues, también serviremos á Jehová, porque él es nuestro Dios.

Josua sprach zum Volk: Ihr konnet dem HERRN nicht dienen; denn er ist ein heiliger Gott, ein eifriger Gott, der eurer Ubertretung und Sunde nicht schonen wird.

Entonces Josué dijo al pueblo: No podréis servir á Jehová, porque él es Dios santo, y Dios celoso; no sufrirá vuestras rebeliones y vuestros pecados.

And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.

Wenn ihr aber den HERRN verlasset und einem fremden Gott dienet, so wird er sich wenden und euch plagen und euch umbringen, nachdem er euch Gutes getan hat.

Si dejareis á Jehová y sirviereis á dioses ajenos, se volverá, y os maltratará, y os consumirá, después que os ha hecho bien.

If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.

Das Volk aber sprach zu Josua: Nicht also, sondern wir wollen dem HERRN dienen.

El pueblo entonces dijo á Josué: No, antes á Jehová serviremos.

And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the LORD.

Da sprach Josua zum Volk: Ihr seid Zeugen uber euch, daß ihr den HERRN euch erwahlet habt, daß ihr ihm dienet. Und sie sprachen: Ja.

Y Josué respondió al pueblo: Vosotros sois testigos contra vosotros mismos, de que os habéis elegido á Jehová para servirle. Y ellos respondieron: Testigos somos.

And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the LORD, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses.

So tut nun von euch die fremden Gotter, die unter euch sind, und neiget euer Herz zu dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels.

Quitad, pues, ahora los dioses ajenos que están entre vosotros, é inclinad vuestro corazón á Jehová Dios de Israel.

Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel.

“Now therefore put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to the LORD, the God of Israel.”

Und das Volk sprach zu Josua: Wir wollen dem HERRN, unserm Gott, dienen und seiner Stimme gehorchen.

And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey.

Also machte Josua desselben Tages einen Bund mit dem Volk und legte ihnen Gesetze und Rechte vor zu Sichem.

Entonces Josué hizo alianza con el pueblo el mismo día, y púsole ordenanzas y leyes en Sichêm.

Und sprach zum ganzen Volk: Siehe, dieser Stein soli Zeuge sein zwischen uns, denn er hat gehoret alle Rede des HERRN, die er mit uns geredet hat; und soil ein Zeuge uber euch sein, daß ihr euren Gott nicht verleugnet.

And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it hath heard all the words of the LORD which he spake unto us: it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest ye deny your God.

Also liefi Josua das Volk, einen jeglichen in sein Erbteil.

Und es begab sich nach dieser Geschichte, daß Josua, der Sohn Nuns, der Knecht des HERRN, starb, da er hundertundzehn Jahre alt war.

Und man begrub ihn in der Grenze seines Erbteils, zu Thimnath Serah, die auf dem Gebirge Ephraim liegt von mitternachtwarts am Berge Gaas.

Die Gebeine Josephs, welche die Kinder Israel hatten aus Agypten gebracht, begruben sie zu Sichem in dem Stuck Feldes, das Jakob kaufte von den Kindern Hemors, des Vaters Sichems, urn hundert Groschen, und ward der Kinder Josephs Erbteil.
