Josué 24

Und Josua versammelte alle Stämme Israels zu Sichem und berief die Ältesten von Israel, die Häupter, Richter und Amtleute. Und als sie vor Gott getreten waren,

Y JUNTANDO Josué todas las tribus de Israel en Sichêm, llamó á los ancianos de Israel, y á sus príncipes, á sus jueces, y á sus oficiales; y presentáronse delante de Dios.

Da machte sich auf Balak, der Sohn Zippors, der König der Moabiter, und stritt wider Israel; und er sandte hin und ließ Bileam rufen, den Sohn Beors, damit er euch verfluche.

Aber ich wollte Bileam nicht hören, sondern er mußte euch beständig segnen, und ich errettete euch aus seiner Hand.

Und ich sandte Hornissen vor euch her, die trieben sie aus vor euch her, nämlich die beiden Könige der Amoriter, nicht durch dein Schwert und nicht durch deinen Bogen.

So fürchtet nun den HERRN und dienet ihm aufrichtig und in der Wahrheit, und tut die Götter von euch, denen eure Väter jenseits des Stromes und in Ägypten gedient haben, und dienet dem HERRN!

Ahora pues, temed á Jehová, y servidle con integridad y en verdad; y quitad de en medio los dioses á los cuales sirvieron vuestros padres de esotra parte del río, y en Egipto; y servid á Jehová.

Gefällt es euch aber nicht, dem HERRN zu dienen, so erwählet euch heute, welchem ihr dienen wollt: den Göttern, denen eure Väter jenseits des Stromes gedient haben, oder den Göttern der Amoriter, in deren Land ihr wohnt; ich aber und mein Haus, wir wollen dem HERRN dienen!

Y si mal os parece servir á Jehová, escogeos hoy á quién sirváis; si á los dioses á quienes sirvieron vuestros padres, cuando estuvieron de esotra parte del río, ó á los dioses de los Amorrheos en cuya tierra habitáis: que yo y mi casa serviremos á Jehová.

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Da antwortete das Volk und sprach: Das sei ferne von uns, daß wir den HERRN verlassen und andern Göttern dienen!

Porque Jehová nuestro Dios es el que nos sacó á nosotros y á nuestros padres de la tierra de Egipto, de la casa de servidumbre; el cual delante de nuestros ojos ha hecho estas grandes señales, y nos ha guardado por todo el camino por donde hemos andado, y en todos los pueblos por entre los cuales pasamos.

For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:

Und der HERR hat alle Völker vor uns her ausgestoßen, ja auch die Amoriter, die im Lande wohnten. Auch wir wollen dem HERRN dienen, denn er ist unser Gott!

Y Jehová echó de delante de nosotros á todos los pueblos, y al Amorrheo que habitaba en la tierra: nosotros, pues, también serviremos á Jehová, porque él es nuestro Dios.

Josua sprach zum Volk: Ihr könnt dem HERRN nicht dienen; denn er ist ein heiliger Gott, ein eifriger Gott, der eure Übertretungen und Sünden nicht dulden wird.

Entonces Josué dijo al pueblo: No podréis servir á Jehová, porque él es Dios santo, y Dios celoso; no sufrirá vuestras rebeliones y vuestros pecados.

And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.

Wenn ihr den HERRN verlasset und fremden Göttern dienet, so wird er sich von euch abwenden und euch Übles tun und euch aufreiben, nachdem er euch Gutes getan hat.

Si dejareis á Jehová y sirviereis á dioses ajenos, se volverá, y os maltratará, y os consumirá, después que os ha hecho bien.

If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.

Da sprach das Volk zu Josua: Nein; denn wir wollen dem HERRN dienen!

El pueblo entonces dijo á Josué: No, antes á Jehová serviremos.

And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the LORD.

Da sprach Josua zum Volk: Ihr seid Zeugen gegen euch, daß ihr euch den HERRN erwählt habt, um ihm zu dienen! Und sie sprachen: Ja, wir sind Zeugen!

Y Josué respondió al pueblo: Vosotros sois testigos contra vosotros mismos, de que os habéis elegido á Jehová para servirle. Y ellos respondieron: Testigos somos.

And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the LORD, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses.

So tut nun von euch †sprach er, die fremden Götter, die unter euch sind, und neiget euer Herz zu dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels!

Quitad, pues, ahora los dioses ajenos que están entre vosotros, é inclinad vuestro corazón á Jehová Dios de Israel.

Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel.

Und das Volk sprach zu Josua: Wir wollen dem HERRN, unserm Gott, dienen und seiner Stimme gehorsam sein!

And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey.

Also machte Josua an jenem Tag einen Bund mit dem Volk und legte ihnen Satzungen und Rechte vor zu Sichem.

Entonces Josué hizo alianza con el pueblo el mismo día, y púsole ordenanzas y leyes en Sichêm.

Und Josua schrieb diese Worte in das Gesetzbuch Gottes, und er nahm einen großen Stein und richtete ihn daselbst auf unter der Eiche, die bei dem Heiligtum des HERRN war.

Und Josua sprach zum ganzen Volk: Siehe, dieser Stein soll Zeuge gegen uns sein; denn er hat alle Reden gehört, welche der HERR mit uns geredet hat, und er soll Zeuge gegen euch sein, daß ihr euren Gott nicht verleugnet!

And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it hath heard all the words of the LORD which he spake unto us: it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest ye deny your God.

Also entließ Josua das Volk, einen jeden in sein Erbteil.

Und es begab sich nach diesen Geschichten, daß Josua, der Sohn Nuns, der Knecht des HERRN, starb, als er hundertundzehn Jahre alt war.
