Entretanto Josué, hijo de Nun, había enviado secretamente desde Setim dos hombres por exploradores, diciéndoles: Id y reconoced bien el terreno, y la ciudad de Jericó . Los cuales, partiendo del campamento, llegaron a Jericó y entraron en casa de una mujer pública, llamada Rahab, y se hospedaron en ella.
Y JOSUÉ, hijo de Nun, envió desde Sittim dos espías secretamente, diciéndoles: Andad, reconoced la tierra, y á Jericó. Los cuales fueron, y entráronse en casa de una mujer ramera que se llamaba Rahab, y posaron allí.
And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot’s house, named Rahab, and lodged there.
Joshua the son of Nun secretly sent two men out of Shittim as spies, saying, “Go, view the land, including Jericho.” They went and came into the house of a prostitute whose name was Rahab, and slept there.
