Josué 2

Ma la donna avea presi que' due uomini, e li avea nascosti. Ed ella disse: Egli è vero; quegli uomini erano venuti in casa mia; e io non sapeva onde si fossero.

Mas la mujer había tomado los dos hombres, y los había escondido; y dijo: Verdad que hombres vinieron á mí, mas no supe de dónde eran:

And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were:

The woman took the two men and hid them. Then she said, “Yes, the men came to me, but I didn’t know where they came from.
