Aber (und) die Frau hatte die beiden Männer genommen (nahm) und sie versteckt (versteckte). Deshalb (und) sagte sie: „Tatsächlich (Ja) sind die Männer zu mir gekommen, aber ich weiß (wusste, habe nicht erkannt) nicht, woher sie †kamen.

Mas la mujer había tomado los dos hombres, y los había escondido; y dijo: Verdad que hombres vinieron á mí, mas no supe de dónde eran:

And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were:

The woman took the two men and hid them. Then she said, “Yes, the men came to me, but I didn’t know where they came from.
