Y LEVANTÓSE Josué de mañana, y partieron de Sittim, y vinieron hasta el Jordán, él y todos los hijos de Israel, y reposaron allí antes que pasasen.
And Joshua rose early in the morning; and they removed from Shittim, and came to Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they passed over.

Au bout de trois jours, les préposés parcoururent le camp
Y pasados tres días, los oficiales atravesaron por medio del campo,
And it came to pass after three days, that the officers went through the host;

et donnèrent cet ordre au peuple: "Quand vous verrez paraître l'arche d'alliance de l'Eternel, votre Dieu, portée par les prêtres, descendants de Lévi, vous quitterez votre emplacement et vous la suivrez;
Y mandaron al pueblo, diciendo: Cuando viereis el arca del pacto de Jehová vuestro Dios, y los sacerdotes y Levitas que la llevan, vosotros partiréis de vuestro lugar, y marcharéis en pos de ella.
And they commanded the people, saying, When ye see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go after it.

Et Josué dit au peuple: "Sanctifiez-vous! Car, demain, l'Eternel accomplira au milieu de vous des merveilles."
Y Josué dijo al pueblo: Santificaos, porque Jehová hará mañana entre vosotros maravillas.
And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the LORD will do wonders among you.

Puis Josué dit aux prêtres: "Portez l'arche d'alliance et marchez en tête du peuple." Et ils portèrent l'arche d'alliance, et s'avancèrent en tête du peuple.
Y habló Josué á los sacerdotes, diciendo: Tomad el arca del pacto, y pasad delante del pueblo. Y ellos tomaron el arca del pacto, y fueron delante del pueblo.
And Joshua spake unto the priests, saying, Take up the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people. And they took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people.

Et Dieu dit à Josué: "Dès aujourd'hui, je commencerai à te grandir aux yeux de tout Israël; je veux qu'ils sachent que, comme j'ai été avec Moïse, je serai avec toi.
Entonces Jehová dijo á Josué: Desde aqueste día comenzaré á hacerte grande delante de los ojos de todo Israel, para que entiendan que como fuí con Moisés, así seré contigo.
And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee.

De ton côté, tu donneras cet ordre aux prêtres, chargés de porter l'arche d'alliance: "Quand vous aurez atteint les eaux qui baignent la rive du Jourdain, vous ferez halte dans le fleuve."
Tú, pues, mandarás á los sacerdotes que llevan el arca del pacto, diciendo: Cuando hubiereis entrado hasta el borde del agua del Jordán, pararéis en el Jordán.
And thou shalt command the priests that bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When ye are come to the brink of the water of Jordan, ye shall stand still in Jordan.

Et Josué dit aux enfants d'Israël: "Approchez, et écoutez les paroles de l'Eternel, votre Dieu."

And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, Come hither, and hear the words of the LORD your God.

Et il ajouta: "Voici qui vous prouvera que le Dieu vivant est au milieu de vous, et qu'il saura chasser de devant vous le Cananéen, le Héthéen, le Hévéen, le Phérizéen, le Ghirgachéen, l'Amorréen et le Jébuséen:
Y añadió Josué: En esto conoceréis que el Dios viviente está en medio de vosotros, y que él echará de delante de vosotros al Cananeo, y al Heteo, y al Heveo, y al Pherezeo, y al Gergeseo, y al Amorrheo, y al Jebuseo.
And Joshua said, Hereby ye shall know that the living God is among you, and that he will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Hivites, and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites.
Joshua said, “By this you shall know that the living God is among you, and that he will without fail drive the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Hivite, the Perizzite, the Girgashite, the Amorite, and the Jebusite out from before you.
voyez, l'arche d'alliance du Maître de toute la terre va, à votre tête, traverser le Jourdain.
He aquí, el arca del pacto del Señoreador de toda la tierra pasa el Jordán delante de vosotros.

And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand upon an heap.
It shall be that when the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of GOD, the Lord of all the earth, rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan will be cut off. The waters that come down from above shall stand in one heap.”
Ainsi arriva-t-il. Le peuple quitta ses tentes pour passer le Jourdain, et les prêtres porteurs de l'arche d'alliance marchaient en avant.
Y aconteció, que partiendo el pueblo de sus tiendas para pasar el Jordán, y los sacerdotes delante del pueblo llevando el arca del pacto,
And it came to pass, when the people removed from their tents, to pass over Jordan, and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people;

Arrivés au Jourdain, sitôt que les prêtres porteurs de l'arche eurent trempé leurs pieds dans ses eaux, lesquelles couvraient toutes ses rives à cette époque de la moisson,
Cuando los que llevaban el arca entraron en el Jordán, así como los pies de los sacerdotes que llevaban el arca fueron mojados á la orilla del agua, (porque el Jordán suele reverter sobre todos sus bordes todo el tiempo de la siega,)
And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)

Las aguas que venían de arriba, se pararon como en un montón bien lejos de la ciudad de Adam, que está al lado de Sarethan; y las que descendían á la mar de los llanos, al mar Salado, se acabaron y fueron partidas; y el pueblo pasó en derecho de Jericó.
That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.

Mas los sacerdotes que llevaban el arca del pacto de Jehová, estuvieron en seco, firmes en medio del Jordán, hasta que todo el pueblo hubo acabado de pasar el Jordán; y todo Israel pasó en seco.
And the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.
The priests who bore the ark of the LORD’s covenant stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground, until all the nation had passed completely over the Jordan.
