Josué 4

OR, quando tutta la gente ebbe finito di passare il Giordano (perciocchè il Signore avea detto a Giosuè:

Y CUANDO toda la gente hubo acabado de pasar el Jordán, Jehová habló á Josué, diciendo:

And it came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over Jordan, that the LORD spake unto Joshua, saying,

When all the nation had completely crossed over the Jordan, the LORD spoke to Joshua, saying,

Pigliatevi docici uomini del popolo, un uomo di ciascuna tribù;

Tomad del pueblo doce hombres, de cada tribu uno,

Take you twelve men out of the people, out of every tribe a man,

“Take twelve men out of the people, a man out of every tribe,

e comandate loro, dicendo: Toglietevi di qui, di mezzo del Giordano, dal luogo dove i piedi de' sacerdoti stanno fermi, dodici pietre, e portatele di là dal Giordano con voi, e posatele nell'alloggiamento, nel quale voi alloggerete questa notte);

Y mandadles, diciendo: Tomaos de aquí del medio del Jordán, del lugar donde están firmes los pies de los sacerdotes, doce piedras, las cuales pasaréis con vosotros, y las asentaréis en el alojamiento donde habéis de tener la noche.

And command ye them, saying, Take you hence out of the midst of Jordan, out of the place where the priests’ feet stood firm, twelve stones, and ye shall carry them over with you, and leave them in the lodging place, where ye shall lodge this night.

and command them, saying, ‘Take from out of the middle of the Jordan, out of the place where the priests’ feet stood firm, twelve stones, carry them over with you, and lay them down in the place where you’ll camp tonight.’”

Giosuè chiamò i dodici uomini, i quali egli avea ordinati d'infra i figliuoli d'Israele, un uomo di ciascuna tribù,

Entonces Josué llamó á los doce hombres, los cuales había él ordenado de entre los hijos de Israel, de cada tribu uno;

Then Joshua called the twelve men, whom he had prepared of the children of Israel, out of every tribe a man:

e disse loro: Passate dinanzi all'Arca del Signore Iddio vostro, in mezzo al Giordano, e levisi ciascun di voi in ispalla una pietra, secondo il numero delle tribù de' figliuoli d'Israele.

Y díjoles Josué: Pasad delante del arca de Jehová vuestro Dios al medio del Jordán; y cada uno de vosotros tome una piedra sobre su hombro, conforme al número de las tribus de los hijos de Israel;

And Joshua said unto them, Pass over before the ark of the LORD your God into the midst of Jordan, and take ye up every man of you a stone upon his shoulder, according unto the number of the tribes of the children of Israel:

Joshua said to them, “Cross before the ark of the LORD your God into the middle of the Jordan, and each of you pick up a stone and put it on your shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel;

Acciocchè questo sia un segnale nel mezzo di voi. Quando i vostri figliuoli vi domanderanno nel tempo a venire, dicendo: Che voglion dire queste pietre che avete qui?

Para que esto sea señal entre vosotros; y cuando vuestros hijos preguntaren á sus padres mañana, diciendo: ¿Qué os significan estas piedras?

That this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones?

that this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask in the future, saying, ‘What do you mean by these stones?’

Voi direte loro: Come l'acque del Giordano vennero meno d'innanzi all'Arca del Patto del Signore, quando ella passò il Giordano; e che queste pietre sono state poste per ricordanza a' figliuoli d'Israele, in perpetuo.

Les responderéis: Que las aguas del Jordán fueron partidas delante del arca del pacto de Jehová; cuando ella pasó el Jordán, las aguas del Jordán se partieron: y estas piedras serán por memoria á los hijos de Israel para siempre.

Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.

then you shall tell them, ‘Because the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the LORD’s covenant. When it crossed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. These stones shall be for a memorial to the children of Israel forever.’”

E i figliuoli d'Israele fecero come Giosuè avea comandato; e tolsero, secondo che il Signore avea detto a Giosùe, dodici pietre di mezzo al Giordano, secondo il numero delle tribù de' figliuoli d'Israele; e le portarono di là dal Giordano con loro, all'alloggiamento, e quivi le posarono.

Y los hijos de Israel lo hicieron así como Josué les mandó: que levantaron doce piedras del medio del Jordán, como Jehová lo había dicho á Josué, conforme al número de las tribus de los hijos de Israel, y pasáronlas consigo al alojamiento, y las asentaron allí.

And the children of Israel did so as Joshua commanded, and took up twelve stones out of the midst of Jordan, as the LORD spake unto Joshua, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel, and carried them over with them unto the place where they lodged, and laid them down there.

Giosuè ancora rizzò dodici pietre in mezzo al Giordano, nel luogo stesso dove i piedi de' sacerdoti che portavano l'Arca del Patto s'erano fermati; le quali son restate quivi infino a questo giorno.

Josué también levantó doce piedras en medio del Jordán, en el lugar donde estuvieron los pies de los sacerdotes que llevaban el arca del pacto; y han estado allí hasta hoy.

I sacerdoti adunque che portavano l'Arca stettero ritti in mezzo al Giordano, finchè tutte le cose che il Signore avea comandate a Giosuè di dire al popolo furono finite, secondo tutto ciò che Mosè avea comandato a Giosuè; e il popolo si affrettò di passare.

Y los sacerdotes que llevaban el arca se pararon en medio del Jordán, hasta tanto que se acabó todo lo que Jehová había mandado á Josué que hablase al pueblo, conforme á todas las cosas que Moisés había á Josué mandado: y el pueblo se dió priesa y pasó.

For the priests which bare the ark stood in the midst of Jordan, until every thing was finished that the LORD commanded Joshua to speak unto the people, according to all that Moses commanded Joshua: and the people hasted and passed over.

E, quando tutto il popolo ebbe finito di passare, l'Arca del Signore passò anche essa, e i sacerdoti si misero dinanzi al popolo.

Y cuando todo el pueblo acabó de pasar, pasó también el arca de Jehová, y los sacerdotes, en presencia del pueblo.

And it came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over, that the ark of the LORD passed over, and the priests, in the presence of the people.

When all the people had completely crossed over, the LORD’s ark crossed over with the priests in the presence of the people.

Or i figliuoli di Ruben, e i figliuoli di Gad, e la metà della tribù di Manasse, passarono in armi dinanzi a' figliuoli d'Israele, secondo che Mosè avea loro detto.

También los hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad, y la media tribu de Manasés, pasaron armados delante de los hijos de Israel, según Moisés les había dicho:

And the children of Reuben, and the children of Gad, and half the tribe of Manasseh, passed over armed before the children of Israel, as Moses spake unto them:

Essi passarono, nelle campagne di Gerico, davanti al Signore, alla guerra, in numero d'intorno a quarantamila combattenti.

Como cuarenta mil hombres armados á punto pasaron hacia la campiña de Jericó delante de Jehová á la guerra.

About forty thousand prepared for war passed over before the LORD unto battle, to the plains of Jericho.

In quel giorno il Signore magnificò Giosuè davanti agli occhi di tutto Israele; ed essi lo temettero, come aveano temuto Mosè, tutti i giorni della sua vita.

En aquel día Jehová engrandeció á Josué en ojos de todo Israel: y temiéronle, como habían temido á Moisés, todos los días de su vida.

Comanda a' sacerdoti che portano l'Arca della Testimonianza, che salgano fuor del Giordano.

Manda á los sacerdotes que llevan el arca del testimonio, que suban del Jordán.

Command the priests that bear the ark of the testimony, that they come up out of Jordan.

“Command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, that they come up out of the Jordan.”

E Giosuè comandò, e disse a' sacerdoti: Salite fuor del Giordano.

Y Josué mandó á los sacerdotes, diciendo: Subid del Jordán.

Joshua therefore commanded the priests, saying, Come ye up out of Jordan.

E avvenne, che quando i sacerdoti che portavano l'Arca del Patto del Signore furono saliti di mezzo al Giordano, come prima le piante de' lor piedi ne furono spiccate, e poste in su l'asciutto, le acque del Giordano ritornarono al luogo loro, e corsero come per addietro, sopra tutte le rive di esso.

Y aconteció que como los sacerdotes que llevaban el arca del pacto de Jehová, subieron del medio del Jordán, y las plantas de los pies de los sacerdotes estuvieron en seco, las aguas del Jordán se volvieron á su lugar, corriendo como antes sobre todos sus bordes.

And it came to pass, when the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD were come up out of the midst of Jordan, and the soles of the priests’ feet were lifted up unto the dry land, that the waters of Jordan returned unto their place, and flowed over all his banks, as they did before.

Così il popolo salì fuor del Giordano, nel decimo giorno del primo mese, e si accampò in Ghilgal, dal lato orientale di Gerico.

Y el pueblo subió del Jordán el diez del mes primero, y asentaron el campo en Gilgal, al lado oriental de Jericó.

And the people came up out of Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and encamped in Gilgal, in the east border of Jericho.

E Giosuè rizzò in Ghilgal quelle dodici pietre, che aveano tolte dal Giordano.

Y Josué erigió en Gilgal las doce piedras que habían traído del Jordán.

And those twelve stones, which they took out of Jordan, did Joshua pitch in Gilgal.

E disse a' figliuoli d'Israele in questa maniera: Quando i vostri figliuoli nel tempo a venire domanderanno i lor padri, dicendo: Che voglion dire queste pietre?

Y habló á los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Cuando mañana preguntaren vuestros hijos á sus padres, y dijeren: ¿Qué os significan estas piedras?

And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones?

Voi il farete assapere a' vostri figliuoli, dicendo: Israele passò questo Giordano per l'asciutto.

Declararéis á vuestros hijos, diciendo: Israel pasó en seco por este Jordán.

Then ye shall let your children know, saying, Israel came over this Jordan on dry land.

Conciossiachè il Signore Iddio vostro abbia seccate le acque del Giordano davanti a voi, finchè voi siate passati; siccome il Signore Iddio vostro fece al mar rosso, il quale egli seccò davanti a noi, finchè fossimo passati;

Porque Jehová vuestro Dios secó las aguas del Jordán delante de vosotros, hasta que habíais pasado, á la manera que Jehová vuestro Dios lo había hecho en el mar Bermejo, al cual secó delante de nosotros hasta que pasamos:

For the LORD your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over:

acciocchè tutti i popoli della terra sappiano che la mano del Signore è potente; affinchè voi temiate del continuo il Signore Iddio vostro.

Para que todos los pueblos de la tierra conozcan la mano de Jehová, que es fuerte; para que temáis á Jehová vuestro Dios todos los días.

That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the LORD your God for ever.

that all the peoples of the earth may know that the LORD’s hand is mighty, and that you may fear the LORD your God forever.’”
