Josué 4

Es begab sich aber, nachdem das ganze Volk vollends über den Jordan gekommen war, daß der HERR zu Josua also sprach:

Y CUANDO toda la gente hubo acabado de pasar el Jordán, Jehová habló á Josué, diciendo:

And it came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over Jordan, that the LORD spake unto Joshua, saying,

When all the nation had completely crossed over the Jordan, the LORD spoke to Joshua, saying,

Nehmet euch aus dem Volke zwölf Männer, aus jedem Stamme einen,

Tomad del pueblo doce hombres, de cada tribu uno,

Take you twelve men out of the people, out of every tribe a man,

“Take twelve men out of the people, a man out of every tribe,

und gebietet ihnen und sprechet: Hebet mitten aus dem Jordan, von dem Orte, da die Füße der Priester gestanden haben, zwölf Steine auf und führet sie mit euch hinüber und lasset sie in dem Lager, wo ihr diese Nacht bleiben werdet!

Y mandadles, diciendo: Tomaos de aquí del medio del Jordán, del lugar donde están firmes los pies de los sacerdotes, doce piedras, las cuales pasaréis con vosotros, y las asentaréis en el alojamiento donde habéis de tener la noche.

And command ye them, saying, Take you hence out of the midst of Jordan, out of the place where the priests’ feet stood firm, twelve stones, and ye shall carry them over with you, and leave them in the lodging place, where ye shall lodge this night.

and command them, saying, ‘Take from out of the middle of the Jordan, out of the place where the priests’ feet stood firm, twelve stones, carry them over with you, and lay them down in the place where you’ll camp tonight.’”

Da rief Josua den zwölf Männern, die er aus den Kindern Israel bestellt hatte, aus jedem Stamme einen, und sprach zu ihnen:

Entonces Josué llamó á los doce hombres, los cuales había él ordenado de entre los hijos de Israel, de cada tribu uno;

Gehet hinüber, vorn an die Lade des HERRN, eures Gottes, mitten in den Jordan, und hebet ein jeder einen Stein auf seine Achsel, nach der Zahl der Stämme der Kinder Israel,

Y díjoles Josué: Pasad delante del arca de Jehová vuestro Dios al medio del Jordán; y cada uno de vosotros tome una piedra sobre su hombro, conforme al número de las tribus de los hijos de Israel;

And Joshua said unto them, Pass over before the ark of the LORD your God into the midst of Jordan, and take ye up every man of you a stone upon his shoulder, according unto the number of the tribes of the children of Israel:

Joshua said to them, “Cross before the ark of the LORD your God into the middle of the Jordan, and each of you pick up a stone and put it on your shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel;

damit sie ein Zeichen unter euch seien. Und wenn eure Kinder künftig ihre Väter fragen und sagen werden: «Was haben diese Steine für euch zu bedeuten?»

Para que esto sea señal entre vosotros; y cuando vuestros hijos preguntaren á sus padres mañana, diciendo: ¿Qué os significan estas piedras?

That this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones?

that this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask in the future, saying, ‘What do you mean by these stones?’

so sollt ihr ihnen alsdann sagen, wie das Wasser des Jordan vor der Lade des Bundes des HERRN sich verteilt hat; als sie durch den Jordan gingen, haben sich die Wasser des Jordan zerteilt; darum sind diese Steine den Kindern Israel zum ewigen Gedächtnis gesetzt.

Les responderéis: Que las aguas del Jordán fueron partidas delante del arca del pacto de Jehová; cuando ella pasó el Jordán, las aguas del Jordán se partieron: y estas piedras serán por memoria á los hijos de Israel para siempre.

Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.

then you shall tell them, ‘Because the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the LORD’s covenant. When it crossed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. These stones shall be for a memorial to the children of Israel forever.’”

Da taten die Kinder Israel, wie ihnen Josua geboten hatte, und trugen zwölf Steine mitten aus dem Jordan, wie der HERR Josua geboten hatte, nach der Zahl der Stämme der Kinder Israel, und brachten sie mit sich in das Nachtlager und ließen sie daselbst.

Y los hijos de Israel lo hicieron así como Josué les mandó: que levantaron doce piedras del medio del Jordán, como Jehová lo había dicho á Josué, conforme al número de las tribus de los hijos de Israel, y pasáronlas consigo al alojamiento, y las asentaron allí.

And the children of Israel did so as Joshua commanded, and took up twelve stones out of the midst of Jordan, as the LORD spake unto Joshua, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel, and carried them over with them unto the place where they lodged, and laid them down there.

Und Josua richtete auch zwölf Steine mitten im Jordan auf, wo die Füße der Priester gestanden hatten, welche die Lade des Bundes trugen; sie sind noch daselbst bis auf diesen Tag.

Josué también levantó doce piedras en medio del Jordán, en el lugar donde estuvieron los pies de los sacerdotes que llevaban el arca del pacto; y han estado allí hasta hoy.

Die Priester aber, welche die Lade trugen, standen mitten im Jordan, bis alles ausgerichtet war, was der HERR Josua geboten hatte, dem Volke zu sagen, gemäß allem, was Mose dem Josua geboten hatte. Uns das Volk ging eilends hinüber.

Y los sacerdotes que llevaban el arca se pararon en medio del Jordán, hasta tanto que se acabó todo lo que Jehová había mandado á Josué que hablase al pueblo, conforme á todas las cosas que Moisés había á Josué mandado: y el pueblo se dió priesa y pasó.

For the priests which bare the ark stood in the midst of Jordan, until every thing was finished that the LORD commanded Joshua to speak unto the people, according to all that Moses commanded Joshua: and the people hasted and passed over.

Als nun das ganze Volk völlig hinübergegangen war, zog die Lade des HERRN auch hinüber, und die Priester vor dem Volke her.

Y cuando todo el pueblo acabó de pasar, pasó también el arca de Jehová, y los sacerdotes, en presencia del pueblo.

And it came to pass, when all the people were clean passed over, that the ark of the LORD passed over, and the priests, in the presence of the people.

Und die Rubeniter und Gaditer und der halbe Stamm Manasse gingen bewaffnet vor den Kindern Israel her, wie Mose zu ihnen geredet hatte.

También los hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad, y la media tribu de Manasés, pasaron armados delante de los hijos de Israel, según Moisés les había dicho:

And the children of Reuben, and the children of Gad, and half the tribe of Manasseh, passed over armed before the children of Israel, as Moses spake unto them:

Etwa vierzigtausend zum Krieg Gerüstete zogen vor dem HERRN zum Streit in die Ebene von Jericho.

Como cuarenta mil hombres armados á punto pasaron hacia la campiña de Jericó delante de Jehová á la guerra.

About forty thousand prepared for war passed over before the LORD unto battle, to the plains of Jericho.

An demselben Tage machte der HERR den Josua groß vor den Augen von ganz Israel; und sie fürchteten ihn, wie sie Mose gefürchtet hatten, sein ganzes Leben lang.

En aquel día Jehová engrandeció á Josué en ojos de todo Israel: y temiéronle, como habían temido á Moisés, todos los días de su vida.

Gebiete den Priestern, welche die Lade des Zeugnisses tragen, daß sie aus dem Jordan heraufsteigen!

Manda á los sacerdotes que llevan el arca del testimonio, que suban del Jordán.

Command the priests that bear the ark of the testimony, that they come up out of Jordan.

“Command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, that they come up out of the Jordan.”

Also gebot Josua den Priestern und sprach: Steiget herauf aus dem Jordan!

Y Josué mandó á los sacerdotes, diciendo: Subid del Jordán.

Joshua therefore commanded the priests, saying, Come ye up out of Jordan.

Und als die Priester, welche die Lade des Bundes des HERRN trugen, aus dem Jordan heraufstiegen und mit ihren Fußsohlen auf das Trockene traten, kehrte das Wasser des Jordan wieder an seinen Ort zurück und trat wie zuvor über alle seine Ufer.

Y aconteció que como los sacerdotes que llevaban el arca del pacto de Jehová, subieron del medio del Jordán, y las plantas de los pies de los sacerdotes estuvieron en seco, las aguas del Jordán se volvieron á su lugar, corriendo como antes sobre todos sus bordes.

And it came to pass, when the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD were come up out of the midst of Jordan, and the soles of the priests’ feet were lifted up unto the dry land, that the waters of Jordan returned unto their place, and flowed over all his banks, as they did before.

Es war aber der zehnte Tag des ersten Monats, als das Volk aus dem Jordan heraufstieg; und sie lagerten sich in Gilgal, an der Ostgrenze der Stadt Jericho.

und redete mit den Kindern Israel und sprach: Wenn in Zukunft eure Kinder ihre Väter fragen und sagen werden:

Y habló á los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Cuando mañana preguntaren vuestros hijos á sus padres, y dijeren: ¿Qué os significan estas piedras?

And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones?

Was bedeuten diese Steine? so sollt ihr es ihnen erklären und sagen: Israel ging auf trockenem Boden durch diesen Jordan,

Declararéis á vuestros hijos, diciendo: Israel pasó en seco por este Jordán.

als der HERR, euer Gott, das Wasser des Jordan vor euch vertrocknen ließ, bis ihr hinübergegangen waret, wie der HERR, euer Gott, getan hat am Schilfmeer, das er vor uns vertrocknen ließ, bis wir hindurchgegangen waren;

Porque Jehová vuestro Dios secó las aguas del Jordán delante de vosotros, hasta que habíais pasado, á la manera que Jehová vuestro Dios lo había hecho en el mar Bermejo, al cual secó delante de nosotros hasta que pasamos:

For the LORD your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over:

auf daß alle Völker auf Erden erkennen, wie mächtig die Hand des HERRN ist, und daß sie den HERRN, euren Gott, allezeit fürchten.

Para que todos los pueblos de la tierra conozcan la mano de Jehová, que es fuerte; para que temáis á Jehová vuestro Dios todos los días.

That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the LORD your God for ever.
