26Entonces Josué dio órdenes al pueblo con un juramento, diciendo: Que el hombre sea maldecido ante el Señor que pone su mano en la reedificación de este pueblo: con la pérdida de su primer hijo pondrá la primera piedra de la misma en su lugar, y con la pérdida de su hijo menor, él levantará sus puertas.

26Y en aquel tiempo Josué les juramentó diciendo: Maldito delante de Jehová el hombre que se levantare y reedificare esta ciudad de Jericó. En su primogénito eche sus cimientos, y en su menor asiente sus puertas.

26And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.
World English Bible
26Joshua commanded them with an oath at that time, saying, “Cursed is the man before the LORD who rises up and builds this city Jericho. With the loss of his firstborn he will lay its foundation, and with the loss of his youngest son he will set up its gates.”
