Josué 6

OR Gerico era serrata ed abbarrata, per tema de' figliuoli d'Israele; niuno ne usciva, e niuno vi entrava.

EMPERO Jericó estaba cerrada, bien cerrada, á causa de los hijos de Israel: nadie entraba, ni salía.

Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.

Now Jericho was tightly shut up because of the children of Israel. No one went out, and no one came in.

E il Signore disse a Giosuè: Vedi, io ti do nelle mani Gerico, e il suo re, e la sua gente di valore.

Mas Jehová dijo á Josué: Mira, yo he entregado en tu mano á Jericó y á su rey, con sus varones de guerra.

And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.

The LORD said to Joshua, “Behold, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and the mighty men of valor.

Voi dunque, quanti siete uomini di guerra, circuite la città, aggirandola una volta.

Cercaréis pues la ciudad todos los hombres de guerra, yendo alrededor de la ciudad una vez: y esto haréis seis días.

And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days.

All of your men of war shall march around the city, going around the city once. You shall do this six days.

Fa' così per sei giorni. E sette sacerdoti portino davanti all'Arca sette trombe da sonar suono d'allegrezza; e al settimo giorno circuite la città sette volte, e suonino i sacerdoti con le trombe.

Y siete sacerdotes llevarán siete bocinas de cuernos de carneros delante del arca; y al séptimo día daréis siete vueltas á la ciudad, y los sacerdotes tocarán las bocinas.

And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.

Seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. On the seventh day, you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets.

E quando soneranno alla distesa col corno da sonar suono d'allegrezza, e voi udirete il suon delle trombe, sclami tutto il popolo con gran grida; e le mura della città caderanno sotto di sè, e il popolo vi salirà dentro, ciascuno dirincontro a sè.

Y cuando tocaren prolongadamente el cuerno de carnero, así que oyereis el sonido de la bocina, todo el pueblo gritará á gran voz, y el muro de la ciudad caerá debajo de sí: entonces el pueblo subirá cada uno en derecho de sí.

And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.

It shall be that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the city wall will fall down flat, and the people shall go up, every man straight in front of him.”

Allora Giosuè, figliuolo di Nun, chiamò i sacerdoti, e disse loro: Portate l'Arca del Patto sopra le vostre spalle; e sette sacerdoti portino davanti all'Arca del Signore sette trombe da sonar suono d'allegrezza.

Y llamando Josué hijo de Nun á los sacerdotes, les dijo: Llevad el arca del pacto, y siete sacerdotes lleven bocinas de cuernos de carneros delante del arca de Jehová.

And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the LORD.

Disse ancora al popolo: Passate, e circuite la città; e passi la gente di guerra davanti all'Arca del Signore.

Y dijo al pueblo: Pasad, y rodead la ciudad; y los que están armados pasarán delante del arca de Jehová.

And he said unto the people, Pass on, and compass the city, and let him that is armed pass on before the ark of the LORD.

They said to the people, “Advance! March around the city, and let the armed men pass on before the LORD’s ark.”

E quando Giosuè ebbe detto questo al popolo, i sette sacerdoti, portando sette trombe da sonar suono d'allegrezza davanti al Signore, passarono oltre, e sonarono con le trombe; e l'Arca del Patto del Signore andava dietro a loro.

Y así que Josué hubo hablado al pueblo, los siete sacerdotes, llevando las siete bocinas de cuernos de carneros, pasaron delante del arca de Jehová, y tocaron las bocinas: y el arca del pacto de Jehová los seguía.

And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns passed on before the LORD, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD followed them.

It was so, that when Joshua had spoken to the people, the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the LORD advanced and blew the trumpets, and the ark of the LORD’s covenant followed them.

E la gente di guerra camminava dinanzi a' sacerdoti che sonavano con le trombe; ma la retroguardia camminava dietro all'Arca; camminando si sonava con le trombe.

Y los armados iban delante de los sacerdotes que tocaban las bocinas, y la gente reunida iba detrás del arca, andando y tocando bocinas.

And the armed men went before the priests that blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.

The armed men went before the priests who blew the trumpets, and the ark went after them. The trumpets sounded as they went.

Or Giosuè avea comandato al popolo, dicendo; Non isclamate, e non fate udir la vostra voce, e non esca dalla vostra bocca parola alcuna, fino al giorno che io vi dirò: Sclamate; allora sclamate.

Y Josué mandó al pueblo, diciendo: Vosotros no daréis grita, ni se oirá vuestra voz, ni saldrá palabra de vuestra boca, hasta el día que yo os diga: Gritad: entonces daréis grita.

And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout.

Joshua commanded the people, saying, “You shall not shout nor let your voice be heard, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth until the day I tell you to shout. Then you shall shout.”

Così Giosuè fece circuir la città all'Arca del Signore, aggirandola una volta; poi il popolo se ne venne nel campo, e alloggiò nel campo.

El arca pues de Jehová dió una vuelta alrededor de la ciudad, y viniéronse al real, en el cual tuvieron la noche.

So the ark of the LORD compassed the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp.

So he caused the LORD’s ark to go around the city, circling it once. Then they came into the camp, and stayed in the camp.

Poi Giosuè si levò la mattina, e i sacerdoti si caricarono l'Arca del Signore in su le spalle.

Y Josué se levantó de mañana, y los sacerdotes tomaron el arca de Jehová.

And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the LORD.

E sette sacerdoti, portando sette trombe da sonar suono di allegrezza dinanzi all'Arca del Signore, camminavano, e camminando sonavano con le trombe; e la gente di guerra andava dinanzi a loro; e la retroguardia camminava dietro all'Arca del Signore; camminando si sonava con le trombe.

Y los siete sacerdotes, llevando las siete bocinas de cuernos de carneros, fueron delante del arca de Jehová, andando siempre y tocando las bocinas; y los armados iban delante de ellos, y la gente reunida iba detrás del arca de Jehová, andando y tocando las bocinas.

And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the LORD went on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came after the ark of the LORD, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.

The seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the LORD’s ark went on continually, and blew the trumpets. The armed men went in front of them. The rear guard came after the LORD’s ark. The trumpets sounded as they went.

E circuirono una volta la città nel secondo giorno, e poi ritornarono nel campo. Così fecero per sei giorni.

Así dieron otra vuelta á la ciudad el segundo día, y volviéronse al real: de esta manera hicieron por seis días.

And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the camp: so they did six days.

The second day they marched around the city once, and returned into the camp. They did this six days.

E al settimo giorno, levatisi la mattina allo spuntar dell'alba, circuirono la città nella medesima maniera sette volte; sol quel giorno circuirono la città sette volte.

Y al séptimo día levantáronse cuando subía el alba, y dieron vuelta á la ciudad de la misma manera siete veces: solamente este día dieron vuelta alrededor de ella siete veces.

And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times.

On the seventh day, they rose early at the dawning of the day, and marched around the city in the same way seven times. On this day only they marched around the city seven times.

E la settima volta, come i sacerdoti sonavano con le trombe, Giosuè disse al popolo: Sclamate; perciocchè il Signore vi ha data la città.

Y como los sacerdotes hubieron tocado las bocinas la séptima vez, Josué dijo al pueblo: Dad grita, porque Jehová os ha entregado la ciudad.

And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city.

E la città sarà un interdetto consacrato al Signore, insieme con tutto ciò che vi è dentro; sol la meretrice Rahab sarà lasciata in vita, con tutti quelli che saranno in casa con lei; perciocchè ella nascose i messi i quali noi mandammo.

Mas la ciudad será anatema á Jehová, ella con todas las cosas que están en ella: solamente Rahab la ramera vivirá, con todos los que estuvieren en casa con ella, por cuanto escondió los mensajeros que enviamos.

And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.

The city shall be devoted, even it and all that is in it, to the LORD. Only Rahab the prostitute shall live, she and all who are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.

Or guardatevi sol dell'interdetto, che talora voi non vi rendiate colpevoli intorno all'interdetto, prendendo alcuna cosa d'esso, e non mettiate il campo di Israele nell'interdetto, e nol turbiate.

Empero guardaos vosotros del anatema, que ni toquéis, ni toméis alguna cosa del anatema, porque no hagáis anatema el campo de Israel, y lo turbéis.

And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.

But as for you, only keep yourselves from what is devoted to destruction, lest when you have devoted it, you take of the devoted thing; so you would make the camp of Israel accursed and trouble it.

Ma tutto l'argento, e l'oro, e i vasellamenti di rame e di ferro, saranno consacrati al Signore; essi entreranno nel tesoro del Signore.

Mas toda la plata, y el oro, y vasos de metal y de hierro, sea consagrado á Jehová, y venga al tesoro de Jehová.

But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the LORD: they shall come into the treasury of the LORD.

But all the silver, gold, and vessels of bronze and iron are holy to the LORD. They shall come into the LORD’s treasury.”

Il popolo adunque sclamò, e i sacerdoti sonarono con le trombe; e avvenne che, quando il popolo ebbe udito il suon delle trombe, ed ebbe sclamato con gran grida, le mura di Gerico caddero sotto di sè; e il popolo salì dentro alla città, ciascuno dirincontro a sè, e presero la città.

Entonces el pueblo dió grita, y los sacerdotes tocaron las bocinas: y aconteció que como el pueblo hubo oído el sonido de la bocina, dió el pueblo grita con gran vocerío, y el muro cayó á plomo. El pueblo subió luego á la ciudad, cada uno en derecho de sí, y tomáronla.

So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

E distrussero al modo dell'interdetto tutto quello ch'era dentro della città, uomini e donne, fanciulli e vecchi; fino a' buoi, alle pecore, ed agli asini; mettendoli a fil di spada.

Y destruyeron todo lo que en la ciudad había; hombres y mujeres, mozos y viejos, hasta los bueyes, y ovejas, y asnos, á filo de espada.

And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword.

E Giosuè disse a' due uomini che aveano spiato il paese: Andate in casa di quella donna meretrice, e fatene uscire lei, e tutto ciò che le appartiene, come voi le giuraste.

Mas Josué dijo á los dos hombres que habían reconocido la tierra: Entrad en casa de la mujer ramera, y haced salir de allá á la mujer, y á todo lo que fuere suyo, como lo jurasteis.

But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot’s house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye sware unto her.

Joshua said to the two men who had spied out the land, “Go into the prostitute’s house, and bring the woman and all that she has out from there, as you swore to her.”

E que' giovani che aveano spiato il paese entrarono in quella casa, e ne fecero uscir fuori Rahab, e suo padre, e sua madre, e i suoi fratelli, e tutto ciò che le apparteneva; fecero eziandio uscir fuori tutte le famiglie dei suoi, e le misero fuor del campo d'Israele.

Y los mancebos espías entraron, y sacaron á Rahab, y á su padre, y á su madre, y á sus hermanos, y todo lo que era suyo; y también sacaron á toda su parentela, y pusiéronlos fuera del campo de Israel.

And the young men that were spies went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel.

The young men who were spies went in, and brought out Rahab with her father, her mother, her brothers, and all that she had. They also brought out all of her relatives, and they set them outside of the camp of Israel.

E i figliuoli d'Israele bruciarono col fuoco la città, e tutto ciò che v'era dentro; sol posero l'argento, e l'oro, e i vasellamenti di rame e di ferro, nel tesoro della Casa del Signore.

Y consumieron con fuego la ciudad, y todo lo que en ella había: solamente pusieron en el tesoro de la casa de Jehová la plata, y el oro, y los vasos de metal y de hierro.

And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD.

They burned the city with fire, and all that was in it. Only they put the silver, the gold, and the vessels of bronze and of iron into the treasury of the LORD’s house.

E Giosuè salvò la vita a Rahab meretrice, e alla famiglia di suo padre, e a tutti i suoi; ed essa è dimorata per mezzo Israele fino a questo giorno; perciocchè avea nascosti i messi che Giosuè avea mandati per ispiar Gerico.

Mas Josué salvó la vida á Rahab la ramera, y á la casa de su padre, y á todo lo que ella tenía: y habitó ella entre los Israelitas hasta hoy; por cuanto escondió los mensajeros que Josué envió á reconocer á Jericó.

And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father’s household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.

But Rahab the prostitute, her father’s household, and all that she had, Joshua saved alive. She lives in the middle of Israel to this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.

E Giosuè in quel tempo fece fare un giuramento, dicendo: Maledetto sia, nel cospetto del Signore, l'uomo il quale imprenderà di riedificar questa città di Gerico; egli la fonderà sopra il suo figliuol maggiore, e poserà le porte d'essa sopra il suo figliuol minore.

Y en aquel tiempo Josué les juramentó diciendo: Maldito delante de Jehová el hombre que se levantare y reedificare esta ciudad de Jericó. En su primogénito eche sus cimientos, y en su menor asiente sus puertas.

And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.

Joshua commanded them with an oath at that time, saying, “Cursed is the man before the LORD who rises up and builds this city Jericho. With the loss of his firstborn he will lay its foundation, and with the loss of his youngest son he will set up its gates.”

E il Signore fu con Giosuè, e la fama di esso andò per tutta la terra.

Fué pues Jehová con Josué, y su nombre se divulgó por toda la tierra.

So the LORD was with Joshua; and his fame was noised throughout all the country.

So the LORD was with Joshua; and his fame was in all the land.
