Josué 6

Jericho aber hatte (seine Tore) geschlossen und blieb den Israeliten gegenüber verriegelt, so daß niemand aus- oder eingehen konnte.

EMPERO Jericó estaba cerrada, bien cerrada, á causa de los hijos de Israel: nadie entraba, ni salía.

Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.

Da sagte der HERR zu Josua: »Hiermit gebe ich Jericho und seinen König samt den streitbaren Männern in deine Gewalt.

Mas Jehová dijo á Josué: Mira, yo he entregado en tu mano á Jericó y á su rey, con sus varones de guerra.

And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.

The LORD said to Joshua, “Behold, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and the mighty men of valor.

So zieht denn um die Stadt herum, alle Kriegsleute, einmal rings um die Stadt her. So sollst du es sechs Tage lang tun;

Cercaréis pues la ciudad todos los hombres de guerra, yendo alrededor de la ciudad una vez: y esto haréis seis días.

And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days.

All of your men of war shall march around the city, going around the city once. You shall do this six days.

dabei sollen sieben Priester sieben Lärmposaunen vor der Lade her tragen. Am siebten Tage aber sollt ihr siebenmal um die Stadt herumziehen, und die Priester sollen dabei in die Posaunen stoßen.

Y siete sacerdotes llevarán siete bocinas de cuernos de carneros delante del arca; y al séptimo día daréis siete vueltas á la ciudad, y los sacerdotes tocarán las bocinas.

And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.

Seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. On the seventh day, you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets.

Wenn man dann ein Zeichen mit dem Lärmhorn gibt, soll das gesamte Volk, sobald ihr den Posaunenschall hört, ein lautes Kriegsgeschrei erheben; dann wird die Stadtmauer von selbst in sich zusammenstürzen, und das Volk soll sie ersteigen, wo ein jeder gerade steht.«

Y cuando tocaren prolongadamente el cuerno de carnero, así que oyereis el sonido de la bocina, todo el pueblo gritará á gran voz, y el muro de la ciudad caerá debajo de sí: entonces el pueblo subirá cada uno en derecho de sí.

And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.

It shall be that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the city wall will fall down flat, and the people shall go up, every man straight in front of him.”

Darauf berief Josua, der Sohn Nuns, die Priester und befahl ihnen: »Hebt die Bundeslade auf, und sieben Priester sollen sieben Lärmposaunen vor der Lade des HERRN her tragen!«

Y llamando Josué hijo de Nun á los sacerdotes, les dijo: Llevad el arca del pacto, y siete sacerdotes lleven bocinas de cuernos de carneros delante del arca de Jehová.

And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the LORD.

Hierauf befahl er dem Volk: »Zieht rings um die Stadt herum, und zwar sollen die Gewappneten vor der Lade des HERRN her ziehen!«

Y dijo al pueblo: Pasad, y rodead la ciudad; y los que están armados pasarán delante del arca de Jehová.

And he said unto the people, Pass on, and compass the city, and let him that is armed pass on before the ark of the LORD.

They said to the people, “Advance! March around the city, and let the armed men pass on before the LORD’s ark.”

Als nun Josua dem Volk diesen Befehl erteilt hatte, da setzten sich die sieben Priester in Bewegung, welche die sieben Lärmposaunen vor dem HERRN her trugen, und stießen in die Posaunen, während die Bundeslade des HERRN ihnen nachfolgte;

Y así que Josué hubo hablado al pueblo, los siete sacerdotes, llevando las siete bocinas de cuernos de carneros, pasaron delante del arca de Jehová, y tocaron las bocinas: y el arca del pacto de Jehová los seguía.

And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns passed on before the LORD, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD followed them.

It was so, that when Joshua had spoken to the people, the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the LORD advanced and blew the trumpets, and the ark of the LORD’s covenant followed them.

die Gewappneten aber zogen vor den Priestern einher, die in die Posaunen stießen, und die Nachhut zog hinter der Lade her, während man dabei fortwährend in die Posaunen stieß.

Y los armados iban delante de los sacerdotes que tocaban las bocinas, y la gente reunida iba detrás del arca, andando y tocando bocinas.

And the armed men went before the priests that blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.

Dem Volk aber hatte Josua streng geboten: »Ihr dürft kein Kriegsgeschrei erheben und eure Stimme nicht hören lassen, und kein Wort darf aus eurem Munde kommen bis zu dem Tage, an dem ich euch zurufe: ›Laßt ein Geschrei erschallen!‹ Dann müßt ihr das Kriegsgeschrei erheben.«

Y Josué mandó al pueblo, diciendo: Vosotros no daréis grita, ni se oirá vuestra voz, ni saldrá palabra de vuestra boca, hasta el día que yo os diga: Gritad: entonces daréis grita.

And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout.

So ließ er denn die Lade des HERRN einmal den Umzug rings um die Stadt machen; hierauf begaben sie sich wieder ins Lager und blieben über Nacht im Lager. –

El arca pues de Jehová dió una vuelta alrededor de la ciudad, y viniéronse al real, en el cual tuvieron la noche.

So the ark of the LORD compassed the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp.

So he caused the LORD’s ark to go around the city, circling it once. Then they came into the camp, and stayed in the camp.

Am folgenden Morgen machte sich Josua früh auf, und die Priester trugen wiederum die Lade des HERRN;

Y los siete sacerdotes, llevando las siete bocinas de cuernos de carneros, fueron delante del arca de Jehová, andando siempre y tocando las bocinas; y los armados iban delante de ellos, y la gente reunida iba detrás del arca de Jehová, andando y tocando las bocinas.

And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the LORD went on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came after the ark of the LORD, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.

The seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the LORD’s ark went on continually, and blew the trumpets. The armed men went in front of them. The rear guard came after the LORD’s ark. The trumpets sounded as they went.

So zogen sie am zweiten Tage einmal um die Stadt herum und kehrten dann wieder ins Lager zurück. So machten sie es sechs Tage lang.

Así dieron otra vuelta á la ciudad el segundo día, y volviéronse al real: de esta manera hicieron por seis días.

And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the camp: so they did six days.

Am siebten Tage aber machten sie sich früh beim Aufgang der Morgenröte auf und zogen in derselben Weise siebenmal um die Stadt herum; nur an diesem Tage umzogen sie die Stadt siebenmal.

Y al séptimo día levantáronse cuando subía el alba, y dieron vuelta á la ciudad de la misma manera siete veces: solamente este día dieron vuelta alrededor de ella siete veces.

And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times.

On the seventh day, they rose early at the dawning of the day, and marched around the city in the same way seven times. On this day only they marched around the city seven times.

Beim siebten Umzug aber, als die Priester in die Posaunen gestoßen hatten, rief Josua dem Volke zu: »Erhebt das Kriegsgeschrei! Denn der HERR hat die Stadt in eure Gewalt gegeben!

Y como los sacerdotes hubieron tocado las bocinas la séptima vez, Josué dijo al pueblo: Dad grita, porque Jehová os ha entregado la ciudad.

And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city.

Aber die Stadt mit allem, was darin ist, soll dem Bann für den HERRN geweiht sein; nur die Dirne Rahab soll am Leben bleiben, sie nebst allen denen, die sich bei ihr im Hause befinden; denn sie hat die Kundschafter versteckt, die wir ausgesandt hatten.

Mas la ciudad será anatema á Jehová, ella con todas las cosas que están en ella: solamente Rahab la ramera vivirá, con todos los que estuvieren en casa con ella, por cuanto escondió los mensajeros que enviamos.

And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.

The city shall be devoted, even it and all that is in it, to the LORD. Only Rahab the prostitute shall live, she and all who are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.

Nehmt ihr euch aber ja vor dem gebannten Gut in acht, daß ihr nicht, obgleich ihr es dem Bann geweiht habt, euch doch etwas von dem gebannten Gut aneignet und dadurch das Lager der Israeliten dem Bannfluch überliefert und es ins Unglück stürzt!

Empero guardaos vosotros del anatema, que ni toquéis, ni toméis alguna cosa del anatema, porque no hagáis anatema el campo de Israel, y lo turbéis.

And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.

But as for you, only keep yourselves from what is devoted to destruction, lest when you have devoted it, you take of the devoted thing; so you would make the camp of Israel accursed and trouble it.

Alles Silber und Gold nebst den kupfernen und eisernen Geräten soll dem HERRN geheiligt sein und in den Schatz des HERRN kommen!« –

Mas toda la plata, y el oro, y vasos de metal y de hierro, sea consagrado á Jehová, y venga al tesoro de Jehová.

But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the LORD: they shall come into the treasury of the LORD.

Da erhob das Volk das Kriegsgeschrei, und die Posaunen ertönten; und als das Volk den Posaunenschall vernahm und ein lautes Kriegsgeschrei erhoben hatte, da stürzte die Mauer in sich zusammen, und das Volk drang in die Stadt ein, ein jeder da, wo er gerade stand. Als sie so die Stadt eingenommen hatten,

Entonces el pueblo dió grita, y los sacerdotes tocaron las bocinas: y aconteció que como el pueblo hubo oído el sonido de la bocina, dió el pueblo grita con gran vocerío, y el muro cayó á plomo. El pueblo subió luego á la ciudad, cada uno en derecho de sí, y tomáronla.

So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

vollstreckten sie den Bann an allem, was sich in der Stadt befand, an Männern wie an Weibern, an jung und alt, an den Rindern wie am Kleinvieh und an den Eseln: alles wurde mit der Schärfe des Schwertes niedergemacht.

Y destruyeron todo lo que en la ciudad había; hombres y mujeres, mozos y viejos, hasta los bueyes, y ovejas, y asnos, á filo de espada.

Den beiden Männern aber, die das Land ausgekundschaftet hatten, hatte Josua befohlen: »Geht in das Haus der Dirne und führt das Weib mit allen ihren Angehörigen von dort heraus, wie ihr es ihr zugeschworen habt!«

But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot’s house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye sware unto her.

Joshua said to the two men who had spied out the land, “Go into the prostitute’s house, and bring the woman and all that she has out from there, as you swore to her.”

Da gingen die jungen Männer, die beiden Kundschafter, hin und führten Rahab nebst ihren Eltern und Geschwistern und allen ihren Angehörigen hinaus: alle ihre Verwandten führten sie hinaus und brachten sie an einem Orte außerhalb des israelitischen Lagers unter.

Y los mancebos espías entraron, y sacaron á Rahab, y á su padre, y á su madre, y á sus hermanos, y todo lo que era suyo; y también sacaron á toda su parentela, y pusiéronlos fuera del campo de Israel.

And the young men that were spies went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel.

Die Stadt aber mit allem, was darin war, ließen sie in Flammen aufgehen; nur das Silber und Gold sowie die kupfernen und eisernen Geräte taten sie in den Schatz im Hause des HERRN.

Y consumieron con fuego la ciudad, y todo lo que en ella había: solamente pusieron en el tesoro de la casa de Jehová la plata, y el oro, y los vasos de metal y de hierro.

And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD.

Die Dirne Rahab aber nebst ihrer Familie und allen ihren Angehörigen ließ Josua am Leben, und sie ist inmitten der Israeliten bis auf den heutigen Tag wohnen geblieben, weil sie die Boten versteckt hatte, die Josua zur Auskundschaftung Jerichos ausgesandt hatte.

Mas Josué salvó la vida á Rahab la ramera, y á la casa de su padre, y á todo lo que ella tenía: y habitó ella entre los Israelitas hasta hoy; por cuanto escondió los mensajeros que Josué envió á reconocer á Jericó.

And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father’s household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.

But Rahab the prostitute, her father’s household, and all that she had, Joshua saved alive. She lives in the middle of Israel to this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.

Damals ließ Josua (das Volk) folgenden Eid schwören: »Verflucht vor dem HERRN sei der Mann, der es unternimmt, diese Stadt Jericho wieder aufzubauen! Um den Preis seines Erstgeborenen wird er ihren Grundstein legen und um den Preis seines jüngsten Sohnes ihre Tore einsetzen!«

Y en aquel tiempo Josué les juramentó diciendo: Maldito delante de Jehová el hombre que se levantare y reedificare esta ciudad de Jericó. En su primogénito eche sus cimientos, y en su menor asiente sus puertas.

And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.

Joshua commanded them with an oath at that time, saying, “Cursed is the man before the LORD who rises up and builds this city Jericho. With the loss of his firstborn he will lay its foundation, and with the loss of his youngest son he will set up its gates.”

Der HERR aber war mit Josua, so daß sein Ruhm sich durch das Land verbreitete.

Fué pues Jehová con Josué, y su nombre se divulgó por toda la tierra.

So the LORD was with Joshua; and his fame was noised throughout all the country.
