1Hubo un gran pecado entre los israelitas. Alguien desobedeció el mandato de Dios de destruir todo salvo lo que estaba reservado para los tesoros del Señor. Acán, hijo de Carmí, nieto de Zabdí y bisnieto de Zera, de la tribu de Judá, tomó parte del botín para sí, y el Señor se enojó con toda la nación a causa de esto.

1EMPERO los hijos de Israel cometieron prevaricación en el anatema: porque Achân, hijo de Carmi, hijo de Zabdi, hijo de Zera, de la tribu de Judá, tomó del anatema; y la ira de Jehová se encendió contra los hijos de Israel.

1But the children of Israel committed a trespass in the accursed thing: for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed thing: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against the children of Israel.

1But the children of Israel committed a trespass in the devoted things; for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took some of the devoted things. Therefore the LORD’s anger burned against the children of Israel.
