Josué se disposa à marcher sur Aï avec tous les gens de guerre. Il choisit d'abord trente mille hommes, soldats d'élite, qu'il fit partir la nuit,

Y levantóse Josué, y toda la gente de guerra, para subir contra Hai: y escogió Josué treinta mil hombres fuertes, los cuales envió de noche.
