Also sandte Josua hin, und sie gingen hin in den Hinterhalt und hielten zwischen Bethel und Ai, westlich der Stadt Ai. Josua aber blieb dieselbe Nacht unter dem Volke.

Entonces Josué los envió; y ellos se fueron á la emboscada, y pusiéronse entre Beth-el y Hai, al occidente de Hai: y Josué se quedó aquella noche en medio del pueblo.

Joshua therefore sent them forth: and they went to lie in ambush, and abode between Beth-el and Ai, on the west side of Ai: but Joshua lodged that night among the people.

Joshua sent them out; and they went to set up the ambush, and stayed between Bethel and Ai on the west side of Ai; but Joshua stayed among the people that night.
