Josué 9

Und es geschah, als alle die Könige es hörten, die diesseit des Jordan waren, auf dem Gebirge und in der Niederung und an der ganzen Küste des großen Meeres gegen den Libanon hin, die Hethiter und die Amoriter, die Kanaaniter, die Perisiter, die Hewiter und die Jebusiter:

Y ACONTECIÓ que como oyeron estas cosas todos los reyes que estaban de esta parte del Jordán, así en las montañas como en los llanos, y en toda la costa de la gran mar delante del Líbano, los Hetheos, Amorrheos, Cananeos, Pherezeos, Heveos, y Jebuseos;

And it came to pass, when all the kings which were on this side Jordan, in the hills, and in the valleys, and in all the coasts of the great sea over against Lebanon, the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard thereof;

When all the kings who were beyond the Jordan, in the hill country, and in the lowland, and on all the shore of the great sea in front of Lebanon, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard of it

da versammelten sie sich allzumal, um einmütig wider Josua und wider Israel zu streiten.

Juntáronse á una, de un acuerdo, para pelear contra Josué é Israel.

handelten sie auch ihrerseits mit List und gingen und stellten sich als Boten: sie nahmen abgenutzte Säcke für ihre Esel, und abgenutzte und geborstene und zusammengebundene Weinschläuche,

Ellos usaron también de astucia; pues fueron y fingiéronse embajadores, y tomaron sacos viejos sobre sus asnos, y cueros viejos de vino, rotos y remendados,

They did work wilily, and went and made as if they had been ambassadors, and took old sacks upon their asses, and wine bottles, old, and rent, and bound up;

they also resorted to a ruse, and went and made as if they had been ambassadors, and took old sacks on their donkeys, and old, torn-up and bound up wineskins,

und abgenutzte und geflickte Schuhe an ihre Füße, und abgenutzte Kleider auf sich; und alles Brot ihrer Zehrung war vertrocknet und war schimmlig.

Y zapatos viejos y recosidos en sus pies, con vestidos viejos sobre sí; y todo el pan que traían para el camino, seco y mohoso.

And old shoes and clouted upon their feet, and old garments upon them; and all the bread of their provision was dry and mouldy.

and old and patched sandals on their feet, and wore old garments. All the bread of their food supply was dry and moldy.

Und sie gingen zu Josua in das Lager nach Gilgal und sprachen zu ihm und zu den Männern von Israel: Aus fernem Lande sind wir gekommen, und nun machet einen Bund mit uns.

Así vinieron á Josué al campo en Gilgal, y dijéronle á él y á los de Israel: Nosotros venimos de tierra muy lejana: haced pues ahora con nosotros alianza.

And they went to Joshua unto the camp at Gilgal, and said unto him, and to the men of Israel, We be come from a far country: now therefore make ye a league with us.

They went to Joshua at the camp at Gilgal, and said to him and to the men of Israel, “We have come from a far country. Now therefore make a covenant with us.”

Aber die Männer von Israel sprachen zu dem Hewiter: Vielleicht wohnst du in meiner Mitte, und wie sollte ich einen Bund mit dir machen?

Y los de Israel respondieron á los Heveos: Quizás vosotros habitáis en medio de nosotros: ¿cómo pues podremos nosotros hacer alianza con vosotros?

And the men of Israel said unto the Hivites, Peradventure ye dwell among us; and how shall we make a league with you?

The men of Israel said to the Hivites, “What if you live among us? How could we make a covenant with you?”

Und sie sprachen zu Josua: Wir sind deine Knechte. Und Josua sprach zu ihnen: Wer seid ihr, und woher kommet ihr?

Y ellos respondieron á Josué: Nosotros somos tus siervos. Y Josué les dijo: ¿Quién sois vosotros y de dónde venís?

And they said unto Joshua, We are thy servants. And Joshua said unto them, Who are ye? and from whence come ye?

They said to Joshua, “We are your servants.” Joshua said to them, “Who are you? Where do you come from?”

Und sie sprachen zu ihm: Aus sehr fernem Lande sind deine Knechte gekommen, um des Namens Jehovas, deines Gottes, willen; denn wir haben seinen Ruf gehört und alles, was er in Ägypten getan,

Y ellos respondieron: Tus siervos han venido de muy lejanas tierras, por la fama de Jehová tu Dios; porque hemos oído su fama, y todas las cosas que hizo en Egipto,

And they said unto him, From a very far country thy servants are come because of the name of the LORD thy God: for we have heard the fame of him, and all that he did in Egypt,

They said to him, “Your servants have come from a very far country because of the name of the LORD your God; for we have heard of his fame, all that he did in Egypt,

und alles, was er den beiden Königen der Amoriter getan hat, die jenseit des Jordan waren, Sihon, dem König von Hesbon, und Og, dem König von Basan, der zu Astaroth wohnte.

Y todo lo que hizo á los dos reyes de los Amorrheos que estaban de la otra parte del Jordán; á Sehón rey de Hesbón, y á Og rey de Basán, que estaba en Astaroth.

And all that he did to the two kings of the Amorites, that were beyond Jordan, to Sihon king of Heshbon, and to Og king of Bashan, which was at Ashtaroth.

and all that he did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, to Sihon king of Heshbon and to Og king of Bashan, who was at Ashtaroth.

Da sprachen unsere Ältesten und alle Bewohner unseres Landes zu uns und sagten: Nehmet Zehrung mit euch auf den Weg und gehet ihnen entgegen, und sprechet zu ihnen: Wir sind eure Knechte; und nun machet einen Bund mit uns!

Por lo cual nuestros ancianos y todos los moradores de nuestra tierra nos dijeron: Tomad en vuestras manos provisión para el camino, é id al encuentro de ellos, y decidles: Nosotros somos vuestros siervos, y haced ahora con nosotros alianza.

Wherefore our elders and all the inhabitants of our country spake to us, saying, Take victuals with you for the journey, and go to meet them, and say unto them, We are your servants: therefore now make ye a league with us.

Our elders and all the inhabitants of our country spoke to us, saying, ‘Take supplies in your hand for the journey, and go to meet them. Tell them, “We are your servants. Now make a covenant with us.”’

Dieses unser Brot, warm haben wir es aus unseren Häusern als Zehrung mitgenommen an dem Tage, da wir auszogen, um zu euch zu gehen; und nun siehe, es ist vertrocknet und schimmlig geworden.

Este nuestro pan tomamos caliente de nuestras casas para el camino el día que salimos para venir á vosotros; y helo aquí ahora que está seco y mohoso:

This our bread we took hot for our provision out of our houses on the day we came forth to go unto you; but now, behold, it is dry, and it is mouldy:

This our bread we took hot for our supplies out of our houses on the day we went out to go to you; but now, behold, it is dry, and has become moldy.

Und diese Weinschläuche, die wir neu gefüllt hatten, siehe da, sie sind geborsten; und diese unsere Kleider und unsere Schuhe sind abgenutzt infolge des sehr langen Weges. -

Estos cueros de vino también los henchimos nuevos; helos aquí ya rotos: también estos nuestros vestidos y nuestros zapatos están ya viejos á causa de lo muy largo del camino.

And these bottles of wine, which we filled, were new; and, behold, they be rent: and these our garments and our shoes are become old by reason of the very long journey.

These wineskins, which we filled, were new; and behold, they are torn. These our garments and our sandals have become old because of the very long journey.”

Und die Männer nahmen von ihrer Zehrung; aber den Mund Jehovas befragten sie nicht.

Y los hombres de Israel tomaron de su provisión del camino, y no preguntaron á la boca de Jehová.

And the men took of their victuals, and asked not counsel at the mouth of the LORD.

The men sampled their provisions, and didn’t ask counsel from the LORD’s mouth.

Und Josua machte Frieden mit ihnen und machte mit ihnen einen Bund, sie am Leben zu lassen; und die Fürsten der Gemeinde schwuren ihnen.

Y Josué hizo paz con ellos, y concertó con ellos que les dejaría la vida: también los príncipes de la congregación les juraron.

And Joshua made peace with them, and made a league with them, to let them live: and the princes of the congregation sware unto them.

Und es geschah am Ende von drei Tagen, nachdem sie einen Bund mit ihnen gemacht hatten, da hörten sie, daß sie nahe bei ihnen waren und mitten unter ihnen wohnten.

Pasados tres días después que hicieron con ellos el concierto, oyeron como eran sus vecinos, y que habitaban en medio de ellos.

And it came to pass at the end of three days after they had made a league with them, that they heard that they were their neighbours, and that they dwelt among them.

Da brachen die Kinder Israel auf und kamen zu ihren Städten am dritten Tage; und ihre Städte waren Gibeon und Kephira und Beeroth und Kirjath-Jearim.

Y partiéronse los hijos de Israel, y al tercer día llegaron á sus ciudades: y sus ciudades eran Gabaón, Caphira, Beeroth, y Chiriath-jearim.

And the children of Israel journeyed, and came unto their cities on the third day. Now their cities were Gibeon, and Chephirah, and Beeroth, and Kirjath-jearim.

The children of Israel traveled and came to their cities on the third day. Now their cities were Gibeon, Chephirah, Beeroth, and Kiriath Jearim.

Und die Kinder Israel schlugen sie nicht, weil die Fürsten der Gemeinde ihnen bei Jehova, dem Gott Israels, geschworen hatten. Da murrte die ganze Gemeinde wider die Fürsten.

Y no los hirieron los hijos de Israel, por cuanto los príncipes de la congregación les habían jurado por Jehová el Dios de Israel. Y toda la congregación murmuraba contra los príncipes.

And the children of Israel smote them not, because the princes of the congregation had sworn unto them by the LORD God of Israel. And all the congregation murmured against the princes.

Und alle Fürsten sprachen zu der ganzen Gemeinde: Wir haben ihnen bei Jehova, dem Gott Israels, geschworen, und nun können wir sie nicht antasten.

Mas todos los príncipes respondieron á toda la congregación: Nosotros les hemos jurado por Jehová Dios de Israel; por tanto, ahora no les podemos tocar.

But all the princes said unto all the congregation, We have sworn unto them by the LORD God of Israel: now therefore we may not touch them.

But all the princes said to all the congregation, “We have sworn to them by the LORD, the God of Israel. Now therefore we may not touch them.

Das wollen wir ihnen tun und sie am Leben lassen, damit nicht ein Zorn über uns komme wegen des Eides, den wir ihnen geschworen haben.

Esto haremos con ellos: les dejaremos vivir, porque no venga ira sobre nosotros á causa del juramento que les hemos hecho.

This we will do to them; we will even let them live, lest wrath be upon us, because of the oath which we sware unto them.

We will do this to them, and let them live; lest wrath be on us, because of the oath which we swore to them.”

Und die Fürsten sprachen zu ihnen: Sie sollen am Leben bleiben. Und sie wurden Holzhauer und Wasserschöpfer für die ganze Gemeinde, so wie die Fürsten betreffs ihrer geredet hatten.

Y los príncipes les dijeron: Vivan; mas sean leñadores y aguadores para toda la congregación, como los príncipes les han dicho.

And the princes said unto them, Let them live; but let them be hewers of wood and drawers of water unto all the congregation; as the princes had promised them.

The princes said to them, “Let them live.” So they became wood cutters and drawers of water for all the congregation, as the princes had spoken to them.

Und Josua rief sie und redete zu ihnen und sprach: Warum habt ihr uns betrogen und gesagt: Wir sind sehr weit von euch, da ihr doch mitten unter uns wohnet?

Y llamándolos Josué, les habló diciendo: ¿Por qué nos habéis engañado, diciendo, Habitamos muy lejos de vosotros; una vez que moráis en medio de nosotros?

And Joshua called for them, and he spake unto them, saying, Wherefore have ye beguiled us, saying, We are very far from you; when ye dwell among us?

Joshua called for them, and he spoke to them, saying, “Why have you deceived us, saying, ‘We are very far from you,’ when you live among us?

Und nun, verflucht seid ihr; und nicht sollt ihr aufhören, Knechte zu sein, sowohl Holzhauer als Wasserschöpfer für das Haus meines Gottes!

Vosotros pues ahora sois malditos, y no faltará de vosotros siervo, y quien corte la leña y saque el agua para la casa de mi Dios.

Now therefore ye are cursed, and there shall none of you be freed from being bondmen, and hewers of wood and drawers of water for the house of my God.

Now therefore you are cursed, and some of you will never fail to be slaves, both wood cutters and drawers of water for the house of my God.”

Und sie antworteten Josua und sprachen: Weil deinen Knechten für gewiß berichtet wurde, daß Jehova, dein Gott, Mose, seinem Knechte, geboten hat, euch das ganze Land zu geben und alle Bewohner des Landes vor euch zu vertilgen, so fürchteten wir sehr für unser Leben euretwegen und taten diese Sache.

Y ellos respondieron á Josué, y dijeron: Como fué dado á entender á tus siervos, que Jehová tu Dios había mandado á Moisés su siervo que os había de dar toda la tierra, y que había de destruir todos los moradores de la tierra delante de vosotros, por esto temimos en gran manera de vosotros por nuestras vidas, é hicimos esto.

And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore afraid of our lives because of you, and have done this thing.

They answered Joshua, and said, “Because your servants were certainly told how the LORD your God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you. Therefore we were very afraid for our lives because of you, and have done this thing.

Und nun siehe, wir sind in deiner Hand; tue, wie es gut und wie es recht ist in deinen Augen, uns zu tun.

Ahora pues, henos aquí en tu mano: lo que te pareciere bueno y recto hacer de nosotros, hazlo.

And now, behold, we are in thine hand: as it seemeth good and right unto thee to do unto us, do.

Now, behold, we are in your hand. Do to us as it seems good and right to you to do.”

Und er tat ihnen also und errettete sie von der Hand der Kinder Israel; und sie töteten sie nicht.

Y él lo hizo así; que los libró de la mano de los hijos de Israel, para que no los matasen.

And so did he unto them, and delivered them out of the hand of the children of Israel, that they slew them not.

He did so to them, and delivered them out of the hand of the children of Israel, so that they didn’t kill them.

Und Josua machte sie an jenem Tage zu Holzhauern und Wasserschöpfern für die Gemeinde und für den Altar Jehovas, bis auf diesen Tag, an dem Orte, den er erwählen würde.

Y constituyólos Josué aquel día por leñadores y aguadores para la congregación y para el altar de Jehová, en el lugar que él escogiese: lo que son hasta hoy.

And Joshua made them that day hewers of wood and drawers of water for the congregation, and for the altar of the LORD, even unto this day, in the place which he should choose.

That day Joshua made them wood cutters and drawers of water for the congregation and for the LORD’s altar to this day, in the place which he should choose.
