Tornei-me motivo de riso para todo o meu povo, o objeto de seus insultos durante todo o dia.

Então, eu disse: "Minha resistência pereceu, assim como a minha esperança em Yahweh".

Lembre-se da minha aflição e das minhas andanças, do absinto e da amargura.

para suprimir uma pessoa em sua causa — o Senhor não o vê?

Quem é que fala e acontece a não ser que o Senhor o tenha decretado?

Não sai da boca do Altíssimo tanto o mal quanto o bem? Como pode qualquer pessoa viva queixar-se?

Como pode qualquer homem queixar-se da punição pelos seus pecados?

Esquadrinhemos e examinemos os nossos caminhos e voltemos para Yahweh.

Todos os nossos inimigos abriram a sua boca com zombaria contra nós.

Medo da sepultura veio sobre nós, desolação e esmagamento".

Fear and a snare is come upon us, desolation and destruction.

O meu olho desce com rios de água por causa do esmagamento da filha do meu povo.
Ríos de aguas echan mis ojos, por el quebrantamiento de la hija de mi pueblo.

até que Yahweh olhe para baixo e veja do céu.
