A língua da criança de peito cola-se ao céu da sua boca sedenta; crianças pedem pão, mas não há nada para elas.

La lengua del niño de teta, de sed se pegó á su paladar: los chiquitos pidieron pan, y no hubo quien se lo partiese.

The tongue of the sucking child cleaveth to the roof of his mouth for thirst: the young children ask bread, and no man breaketh it unto them.
