Nun aber ist ihre Gestalt so dunkel vor Schwärze, daß man sie auf den Gassen nicht kennet; ihre Haut hänget an den Beinen, und sind so dürre als ein Scheit.

Los que comían delicadamente, asolados fueron en las calles; los que se criaron en carmesí, abrazaron los estercoleros.

They that did feed delicately are desolate in the streets: they that were brought up in scarlet embrace dunghills.

Those who ate delicacies are desolate in the streets. Those who were brought up in purple embrace dunghills.
