Agora a sua aparência escureceu mais que a fuligem, e já estão irreconhecíveis nas ruas, pois a sua pele colou-se aos seus ossos e está seca como a lenha.

Oscura más que la negrura es la forma de ellos; no los conocen por las calles: su piel está pegada á sus huesos, seca como un palo.

Their visage is blacker than a coal; they are not known in the streets: their skin cleaveth to their bones; it is withered, it is become like a stick.
