Palabra de Dios para Ti
1Después de la muerte de los dos hijos de Aarón, cuando se presentaron delante de Yavé y murieron, Yavé habló a Moisés.
2Dí a tu hermano Aarón que no en todo tiempo entre en el Santuario detrás del velo, delante del Propiciatorio que está sobre el Arca, no sea que muera, porque Yo me manifiesto en la nube sobre el Propiciatorio.
3Aarón entrará en el Santuario con un becerro para el sacrificio por el pecado y un carnero para el holocausto.
4Vestirá una túnica sagrada de lino y cubrirá su cuerpo con calzoncillos de lino. Estará atado con un cinturón de lino y usará un turbante de lino. Estas son vestiduras sagradas. Lavará su cuerpo con agua y después se vestirá con ellas.
5Tomará dos machos cabríos de la congregación de los hijos de Israel para el sacrificio por el pecado y un carnero para el holocausto.
6Aarón mandará traer el becerro del sacrificio que apacigua y ofrecerá el sacrificio que apacigua por él mismo y por su casa.
7Después tomará los dos machos cabríos y los presentará delante de Yavé en la entrada del Tabernáculo de Reunión.
8Aarón echará suertes sobre los dos machos cabríos, una suerte por Yavé y la otra suerte por Azazel.
9Luego Aarón presentará el macho cabrío sobre el cual cayó la suerte por Yavé y lo ofrecerá en sacrificio por el pecado.
10Pero el macho cabrío sobre el cual cayó la suerte por Azazel será presentado vivo ante Yavé para hacer ofrenda que apacigua sobre él, a fin de enviarlo a Azazel, al desierto.
11Entonces Aarón traerá su becerro destinado al sacrificio que apacigua, lo degollará como sacrificio por el pecado, y hará sacrificio que apacigua por él mismo y por su casa.
12Después tomará un incensario lleno de brasas de fuego de sobre el altar que está delante de Yavé, llenará sus puños de incienso aromático molido y lo llevará detrás del velo.
13Pondrá el incienso sobre el fuego en la Presencia de Yavé para que el humo del incienso cubra el Propiciatorio que está sobre el Testimonio para que no muera.
14Luego tomará parte de la sangre del becerro y rociará con su dedo sobre el Propiciatorio, hacia el oriente. Con esa sangre rociará siete veces con su dedo delante del Propiciatorio.
15Después degollará el macho cabrío del sacrificio por el pecado que corresponde al pueblo, y meterá su sangre detrás del velo. Hará con su sangre como hizo con la sangre del becerro: rociará sobre el Propiciatorio y delante del Propiciatorio.
16Así hará sacrificio que apacigua por el Santuario a causa de las impurezas de los hijos de Israel y de sus transgresiones, por todos sus pecados. Así hará también por el Tabernáculo de Reunión que está con ellos en medio de sus impurezas.
17Nadie permanecerá en el Tabernáculo de Reunión desde cuando él entre en el Santuario para hacer sacrificio que apacigua hasta cuando haga el sacrificio que apacigua por él mismo, por su casa y por toda la congregación de Israel, y salga.
18Luego saldrá hacia el altar que está ante Yavé y hará sacrificio que apacigua por él. Tomará parte de la sangre del becerro y de la sangre del macho cabrío y la aplicará sobre los cuernos del altar, por todos lados.
19Luego rociará sobre éste siete veces parte de la sangre con su dedo, y así lo purificará y lo santificará de las impurezas de los hijos de Israel.
20Cuando acabe de hacer el sacrificio que apacigua por el Santuario, el Tabernáculo de Reunión y el altar, ordenará que traigan el macho cabrío vivo.
21Aarón pondrá sus dos manos sobre la cabeza del macho cabrío vivo y confesará sobre él todas las iniquidades de los hijos de Israel, todas sus transgresiones y todos sus pecados. Así los depositará sobre la cabeza del macho cabrío y lo enviará al desierto por medio de un hombre destinado para esto.
22El macho cabrío cargará sobre él todas las iniquidades de ellos hacia una tierra solitaria, y se dejará ir por el desierto.
23Después Aarón entrará en el Tabernáculo de Reunión, se quitará las ropas de lino que se puso para entrar en el Santuario y las dejará allí.
24Luego lavará su cuerpo con agua en un lugar santo y vestirá sus ropas. Saldrá y ofrecerá su holocausto y el holocausto del pueblo. Hará sacrificio que apacigua por él mismo y por el pueblo,
25y dejará consumir sobre el altar la grasa del sacrificio por el pecado.
26Con respecto al que llevó el macho cabrío a Azazel, lavará sus ropas y su cuerpo con agua, tras lo cual podrá entrar en el campamento.
27Pero el sacrificio del becerro y del macho cabrío por el pecado, cuya sangre se introdujo para hacer sacrificio que apacigua en el Lugar Santo, serán llevados fuera del campamento y quemados al fuego: sus cueros, su carne y su estiércol.
28El que los queme lavará sus ropas y lavará su cuerpo con agua, tras lo cual podrá entrar en el campamento.
29Esto tendrán ustedes como estatuto perpetuo: El séptimo mes, el décimo día del mes, humillarán sus almas y no harán ninguna obra, ni el nativo ni el extranjero que vive entre ustedes.
30Porque ese día se hará sacrificio que apacigua por ustedes para purificarlos, y quedarán purificados de todos sus pecados delante de Yavé.
31Será para ustedes un descanso sabático y se humillarán. Es un estatuto perpetuo.
32El sacerdote que fue ungido y consagrado para ser sacerdote en lugar de su padre, hará el sacrificio que apacigua. Vestirá las ropas de lino blanco, las ropas más sagradas.
33Hará sacrificio que apacigua por el Santuario, por el Tabernáculo de Reunión y por el altar, y por los sacerdotes y por todo el pueblo de la congregación.
34Esto lo tendrán como estatuto perpetuo: Que se haga sacrificio que apacigua una vez al año por los hijos de Israel, a causa de todos sus pecados. Moisés hizo como Yavé ordenó.

1Y HABLÓ Jehová á Moisés, después que murieron los dos hijos de Aarón, cuando se llegaron delante de Jehová, y murieron;
2Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Di á Aarón tu hermano, que no en todo tiempo entre en el santuario del velo adentro, delante de la cubierta que está sobre el arca, para que no muera: porque yo apareceré en la nube sobre la cubierta.
3Con esto entrará Aarón en el santuario: con un becerro por expiación, y un carnero en holocausto.
4La túnica santa de lino se vestirá, y sobre su carne tendrá pañetes de lino, y ceñiráse el cinto de lino; y con la mitra de lino se cubrirá: son las santas vestiduras: con ellas, después de lavar su carne con agua, se ha de vestir.
5Y de la congregación de los hijos de Israel tomará dos machos de cabrío para expiación, y un carnero para holocausto.
6Y hará allegar Aarón el becerro de la expiación, que es suyo, y hará la reconciliación por sí y por su casa.
7Después tomará los dos machos de cabrío, y los presentará delante de Jehová á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio.
8Y echará suertes Aarón sobre los dos machos de cabrío; la una suerte por Jehová, y la otra suerte por Azazel.
9Y hará allegar Aarón el macho cabrío sobre el cual cayere la suerte por Jehová, y ofrecerálo en expiación.
10Mas el macho cabrío, sobre el cual cayere la suerte por Azazel, lo presentará vivo delante de Jehová, para hacer la reconciliación sobre él, para enviarlo á Azazel al desierto.
11Y hará llegar Aarón el becerro que era suyo para expiación, y hará la reconciliación por sí y por su casa, y degollará en expiación el becerro que es suyo.
12Después tomará el incensario lleno de brasas de fuego, del altar de delante de Jehová, y sus puños llenos del perfume aromático molido, y meterálo del velo adentro:
13Y pondrá el perfume sobre el fuego delante de Jehová, y la nube del perfume cubrirá la cubierta que está sobre el testimonio, y no morirá.
14Tomará luego de la sangre del becerro, y rociará con su dedo hacia la cubierta al lado oriental: hacia la cubierta esparcirá siete veces de aquella sangre con su dedo.
15Después degollará en expiación el macho cabrío, que era del pueblo, y meterá la sangre de él del velo adentro; y hará de su sangre como hizo de la sangre del becerro, y esparcirá sobre la cubierta y delante de la cubierta:
16Y limpiará el santuario, de las inmundicias de los hijos de Israel, y de sus rebeliones, y de todos sus pecados: de la misma manera hará también al tabernáculo del testimonio, el cual reside entre ellos en medio de sus inmundicias.
17Y ningún hombre estará en el tabernáculo del testimonio cuando él entrare á hacer la reconciliación en el santuario, hasta que él salga, y haya hecho la reconciliación por sí, y por su casa, y por toda la congregación de Israel.
18Y saldrá al altar que está delante de Jehová, y lo expiará; y tomará de la sangre del becerro, y de la sangre del macho cabrío, y pondrá sobre los cuernos del altar alrededor.
19Y esparcirá sobre él de la sangre con su dedo siete veces, y lo limpiará, y lo santificará de las inmundicias de los hijos de Israel.
20Y cuando hubiere acabado de expiar el santuario, y el tabernáculo del testimonio, y el altar, hará llegar el macho cabrío vivo:
21Y pondrá Aarón ambas manos suyas sobre la cabeza del macho cabrío vivo, y confesará sobre él todas las iniquidades de los hijos de Israel, y todas sus rebeliones, y todos sus pecados, poniéndolos así sobre la cabeza del macho cabrío, y lo enviará al desierto por mano de un hombre destinado para esto.
22Y aquel macho cabrío llevará sobre sí todas las iniquidades de ellos á tierra inhabitada: y dejará ir el macho cabrío por el desierto.
23Después vendrá Aarón al tabernáculo del testimonio, y se desnudará las vestimentas de lino, que había vestido para entrar en el santuario, y pondrálas allí.
24Lavará luego su carne con agua en el lugar del santuario, y después de ponerse sus vestidos saldrá, y hará su holocausto, y el holocausto del pueblo, y hará la reconciliación por sí y por el pueblo.
25Y quemará el sebo de la expiación sobre el altar.
26Y el que hubiere llevado el macho cabrío á Azazel, lavará sus vestidos, lavará también con agua su carne, y después entrará en el real.
27Y sacará fuera del real el becerro del pecado, y el macho cabrío de la culpa, la sangre de los cuales fué metida para hacer la expiación en el santuario; y quemarán en el fuego sus pellejos, y sus carnes, y su estiércol.
28Y el que los quemare, lavará sus vestidos, lavará también su carne con agua, y después entrará en el real.
29Y esto tendréis por estatuto perpetuo: En el mes séptimo, á los diez del mes, afligiréis vuestras almas, y ninguna obra haréis, ni el natural ni el extranjero que peregrina entre vosotros:
30Porque en este día se os reconciliará para limpiaros; y seréis limpios de todos vuestros pecados delante de Jehová.
31Sábado de reposo es para vosotros, y afligiréis vuestras almas, por estatuto perpetuo.
32Y hará la reconciliación el sacerdote que fuere ungido, y cuya mano hubiere sido llena para ser sacerdote en lugar de su padre; y se vestirá las vestimentas de lino, las vestiduras sagradas:
33Y expiará el santuario santo, y el tabernáculo del testimonio; expiará también el altar, y á los sacerdotes, y á todo el pueblo de la congregación.
34Y esto tendréis por estatuto perpetuo, para expiar á los hijos de Israel de todos sus pecados una vez en el año. Y Moisés lo hizo como Jehová le mandó.

1And the LORD spake unto Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they offered before the LORD, and died;
2And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.
3Thus shall Aaron come into the holy place: with a young bullock for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.
4He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall he be attired: these are holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put them on.
5And he shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.
6And Aaron shall offer his bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an atonement for himself, and for his house.
7And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
8And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat.
9And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD’s lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering.
10But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.
11And Aaron shall bring the bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and shall make an atonement for himself, and for his house, and shall kill the bullock of the sin offering which is for himself:
12And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the vail:
13And he shall put the incense upon the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not:
14And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.
15Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:
16And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness.
17And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.
18And he shall go out unto the altar that is before the LORD, and make an atonement for it; and shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about.
19And he shall sprinkle of the blood upon it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.
20And when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat:
21And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:
22And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.
23And Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall put off the linen garments, which he put on when he went into the holy place, and shall leave them there:
24And he shall wash his flesh with water in the holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself, and for the people.
25And the fat of the sin offering shall he burn upon the altar.
26And he that let go the goat for the scapegoat shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward come into the camp.
27And the bullock for the sin offering, and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, shall one carry forth without the camp; and they shall burn in the fire their skins, and their flesh, and their dung.
28And he that burneth them shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.
29And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:
30For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.
31It shall be a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.
32And the priest, whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall consecrate to minister in the priest’s office in his father’s stead, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen clothes, even the holy garments:
33And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation.
34And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses.

1The LORD spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they came near before the LORD, and died;
2and the LORD said to Moses, “Tell Aaron your brother not to come at just any time into the Most Holy Place within the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark; lest he die; for I will appear in the cloud on the mercy seat.
3“Aaron shall come into the sanctuary with a young bull for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.
4He shall put on the holy linen tunic. He shall have the linen trousers on his body, and shall put on the linen sash, and he shall be clothed with the linen turban. They are the holy garments. He shall bathe his body in water, and put them on.
5He shall take from the congregation of the children of Israel two male goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.
6“Aaron shall offer the bull of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make atonement for himself and for his house.

15“Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering that is for the people, and bring his blood within the veil, and do with his blood as he did with the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it on the mercy seat and before the mercy seat.
16He shall make atonement for the Holy Place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions, even all their sins; and so he shall do for the Tent of Meeting that dwells with them in the middle of their uncleanness.
17No one shall be in the Tent of Meeting when he enters to make atonement in the Holy Place, until he comes out, and has made atonement for himself and for his household, and for all the assembly of Israel.
18“He shall go out to the altar that is before the LORD and make atonement for it, and shall take some of the bull’s blood, and some of the goat’s blood, and put it around on the horns of the altar.
19He shall sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and make it holy from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.
20“When he has finished atoning for the Holy Place, the Tent of Meeting, and the altar, he shall present the live goat.
21Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions, even all their sins; and he shall put them on the head of the goat, and shall send him away into the wilderness by the hand of a man who is ready.
22The goat shall carry all their iniquities on himself to a solitary land, and he shall release the goat in the wilderness.
23“Aaron shall come into the Tent of Meeting, and shall take off the linen garments which he put on when he went into the Holy Place, and shall leave them there.
24Then he shall bathe himself in water in a holy place, put on his garments, and come out and offer his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, and make atonement for himself and for the people.
25The fat of the sin offering he shall burn on the altar.
26“He who lets the goat go as the scapegoat shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.
27The bull for the sin offering, and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the Holy Place, shall be carried outside the camp; and they shall burn their skins, their flesh, and their dung with fire.
28He who burns them shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.
29“It shall be a statute to you forever: in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and shall do no kind of work, whether native-born or a stranger who lives as a foreigner among you;
30for on this day shall atonement be made for you, to cleanse you. You shall be clean from all your sins before the LORD.
31It is a Sabbath of solemn rest to you, and you shall afflict your souls. It is a statute forever.
32The priest, who is anointed and who is consecrated to be priest in his father’s place, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen garments, even the holy garments.
33Then he shall make atonement for the Holy Sanctuary; and he shall make atonement for the Tent of Meeting and for the altar; and he shall make atonement for the priests and for all the people of the assembly.
34“This shall be an everlasting statute for you, to make atonement for the children of Israel once in the year because of all their sins.” It was done as the LORD commanded Moses.
