Não leveis nenhum saco de dinheiro, nem bagagem de viagem, nem sandálias e não cumprimenteis a ninguém pelo caminho.

Em qualquer casa que entrardes, dizei primeiro: 1'Que a paz esteja nesta casa'.

And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.

Se ali houver um filho da paz, a vossa paz repousará sobre ele, mas, se não houver, ela voltará sobre vós.

And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.

Permanecei na mesma casa, comendo e bebendo do que eles tiverem, porque o trabalhador merece receber o seu salário. Não fiqueis mudando de casa em casa.
Y posad en aquella misma casa, comiendo y bebiendo lo que os dieren; porque el obrero digno es de su salario. No os paséis de casa en casa.
And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.

Em qualquer cidade que entrardes, e vos receberem, comei do que puserem diante de vós
Y en cualquier ciudad donde entrareis, y os recibieren, comed lo que os pusieren delante;
And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:

e curai os enfermos que lá estiverem. Dizei-lhes: 'O Reino de Deus é chegado a vós'.
Y sanad los enfermos que en ella hubiere, y decidles: Se ha llegado á vosotros el reino de Dios.
And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

'Até mesmo a poeira de vossa cidade que se agarrou a nossos pés, sacudimos contra vós! Mas sabei disto, que o Reino de Deus está próximo'.
Aun el polvo que se nos ha pegado de vuestra ciudad á nuestros pies, sacudimos en vosotros: esto empero sabed, que el reino de los cielos se ha llegado á vosotros.
Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
‘Even the dust from your city that clings to us, we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that God’s Kingdom has come near to you.’
Eu vos digo que, no dia do julgamento, haverá mais tolerância para Sodoma do que para aquela cidade.
Y os digo que los de Sodoma tendrán más remisión aquel día, que aquella ciudad.
But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.
I tell you, it will be more tolerable in that day for Sodom than for that city.
Ai de ti, Corazim! Ai de ti, Betsaida! Porque, se os milagres que foram feitos em vós tivessem sido feitos em Tiro e Sidom, há muito tempo que eles teriam se arrependido e se assentado sobre cinzas, em panos de saco.
¡Ay de ti, Corazín! ¡Ay de ti, Bethsaida! que si en Tiro y en Sidón hubieran sido hechas las maravillas que se han hecho en vosotras, ya días ha que, sentados en cilicio y ceniza, se habrían arrepentido.
Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon which were done in you, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
Contudo, haverá mais tolerância para Tiro e Sidom no juízo do que para vós.
Por tanto, Tiro y Sidón tendrán más remisión que vosotras en el juicio.
But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.

Tu, Cafarnaum, tu achas que serás elevada até o céu? Do contrário, tu serás levada para baixo, ao Hades.

And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.

El que á vosotros oye, á mí oye; y el que á vosotros desecha, á mí desecha; y el que á mí desecha, desecha al que me envió.
He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.
Whoever listens to you listens to me, and whoever rejects you rejects me. Whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me.”
Os setenta (e dois) voltaram com alegria, dizendo: "Senhor, até os demônios se submeteram ao Teu nome".
Y volvieron los setenta con gozo, diciendo: Señor, aun los demonios se nos sujetan en tu nombre.
And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

No entanto, não vos alegreis no fato de os espíritos se submeterem a vós, mas regozijai-vos ainda mais por seus nomes estarem gravados nos céus”.

Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Naquele momento, Ele exultou no Espírito Santo, dizendo: “Eu te louvo, ó Pai, Senhor do céu e da terra, porque Tu ocultaste essas coisas dos que são sábios e cultos, mas as revelaste àqueles que são ignorantes como pequenas crianças. Sim, ó Pai, porque assim foi agradável à Tua vista.
En aquella misma hora Jesús se alegró en espíritu, y dijo: Yo te alabo, oh Padre, Señor del cielo y de la tierra, que escondiste estas cosas á los sabios y entendidos, y las has revelado á los pequeños: así, Padre, porque así te agradó.
In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
In that same hour, Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, “I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for so it was well-pleasing in your sight.”
Todas as coisas Me foram confiadas pelo Meu Pai, e ninguém conhece quem é o Filho senão o Pai, e ninguém conhece quem é o Pai senão o Filho e aqueles a quem o Filho quiser revelar”.
Todas las cosas me son entregadas de mi Padre: y nadie sabe quién sea el Hijo sino el Padre; ni quién sea el Padre, sino el Hijo, y á quien el Hijo lo quisiere revelar.
All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.
Turning to the disciples, he said, “All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is, except the Father, and who the Father is, except the Son, and he to whomever the Son desires to reveal him.”
E, voltando-se para os discípulos, Ele lhes disse em particular: “Bem-aventurados são aqueles que veem as coisas que vedes.

And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:

Pois Eu vos digo que muitos profetas e reis desejaram ver as coisas que vedes, mas não puderam vê-las; ouvir as coisas que ouvis, e não ouviram”.
Porque os digo que muchos profetas y reyes desearon ver lo que vosotros veis, y no lo vieron; y oir lo que oís, y no lo oyeron.
For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

E eis que certo mestre da Lei Judaica levantou-se para testá-Lo, dizendo: “Mestre, o que devo fazer para herdar a vida eterna?”.
Y he aquí, un doctor de la ley se levantó, tentándole y diciendo: Maestro, ¿haciendo qué cosa poseeré la vida eterna?
And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
Behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested him, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”
Jesus disse-lhe: “O que está escrito na Lei? Como é que lês?”.
Y él le dijo: ¿Qué está escrito en la ley? ¿cómo lees?
He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
He said to him, “What is written in the law? How do you read it?”
Ele, então, respondeu: “Amarás ao Senhor teu Deus com todo o teu coração, com toda a tua alma, com toda a tua força, e com todo o teu entendimento, e ao teu próximo como a ti mesmo”.
Y él respondiendo, dijo: Amarás al Señor tu Dios de todo tu corazón, y de toda tu alma, y de todas tus fuerzas, y de todo tu entendimiento; y á tu prójimo como á ti mismo.
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”
Jesus disse-lhe: “Respondeste corretamente. Faze isso e viverás”.
Y díjole: Bien has respondido: haz esto, y vivirás.
And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
He said to him, “You have answered correctly. Do this, and you will live.”
Mas o mestre, querendo justificar-se, perguntou a Jesus: “E quem é o meu próximo?”.
Mas él, queriéndose justificar á sí mismo, dijo á Jesús: ¿Y quién es mi prójimo?
But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
But he, desiring to justify himself, asked Jesus, “Who is my neighbor?”
Em resposta, disse Jesus: “Certo homem descia de Jerusalém para Jericó, ele caiu nas mãos de ladrões que sacaram seus pertences, bateram nele e o deixaram quase morto.
Y respondiendo Jesús, dijo: Un hombre descendía de Jerusalem á Jericó, y cayó en manos de ladrones, los cuales le despojaron; é hiriéndole, se fueron, dejándole medio muerto.
And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

E por acaso um sacerdote estava descendo por aquele caminho e, quando o viu, passou pelo outro lado.

And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

Semelhantemente um levita, quando chegou até o lugar e o viu, também passou pelo outro lado.

Mas um samaritano que ia de viagem chegou perto dele e, vendo-o, encheu-se de compaixão

No dia seguinte, tirou dois denários, deu-os ao hospedeiro e disse: ‘Cuida dele, e qualquer despesa extra que tiveres, quando eu voltar, eu te reembolsarei’.

And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the host, and said to him, ‘Take care of him. Whatever you spend beyond that, I will repay you when I return.’
Qual dos três, em tua opinião, foi o próximo daquele que caiu nas mãos dos ladrões?”

Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?

O mestre da Lei disse: “Aquele que usou de misericórdia para com ele”. Jesus lhe disse: “Vai e faça o mesmo.”
Y él dijo: El que usó con él de misericordia. Entonces Jesús le dijo: Ve, y haz tú lo mismo.
And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
He said, “He who showed mercy on him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”
Enquanto Jesus e seus discípulos viajavam, eles entraram numa vila, e uma certa mulher chamada Marta os recebeu em sua casa.

Ela tinha uma irmã chamada Maria, a qual ficou sentada aos pés do Senhor e ouviu a Sua Palavra.

Marta, estava extremamente ocupada preparando a refeição para servir. Ela veio até Jesus, e disse: “Senhor, não Te importas que minha irmã me deixou servindo sozinha? Dize-lhe, portanto, que me ajude”.
Empero Marta se distraía en muchos servicios; y sobreviniendo, dice: Señor, ¿no tienes cuidado que mi hermana me deja servir sola? Dile pues, que me ayude.
But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she came up to him, and said, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister left me to serve alone? Ask her therefore to help me.”
Mas o Senhor respondeu, e disse-lhe: “Marta, Marta, estás ansiosa sobre muitas coisas,
Pero respondiendo Jesús, le dijo: Marta, Marta, cuidadosa estás, y con las muchas cosas estás turbada:
And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
Jesus answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things,
mas só uma coisa é necessária. Maria escolheu o que era bem melhor, e essa parte não lhe será tomada”.
Empero una cosa es necesaria; y María escogió la buena parte, la cual no le será quitada.
But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
